The call ended quickly, and Xu Jinzhi handed the phone back to Xie Yanchuan.
Xie Yanchuan had already served Xu Jinzhi so food, “Let’s eat.”
As Xu Jinzhi ate, she said to Xie Yanchuan, “I rember you have classes in the afternoon. I’m feeling much better now; you should go to school in the afternoon.”
“It’s fine, I’ve already swapped classes with another teacher,” said Xie Yanchuan.
How could he just leave her alone with sothing like this? He had already communicated with the school in advance.
“I’m really okay,” Xu Jinzhi continued, knowing that Xie Yanchuan wasn’t as free as herself.
“I’ve already arranged it with the other teachers this morning. It’s really not a problem.”
“Okay then.” Xu Jinzhi stopped insisting and continued eating.

Xie Yanchuan led Xu Jinzhi to a sunny spot and sat down on a bench.
With no one else around, just the two of them, Xie Yanchuan hesitated for a mont, but still couldn’t help asking, “Jinzhi, do you have sothing on your mind?”
“Why do you ask?” Xu Jinzhi looked at Xie Yanchuan, her tone very calm, concealing any trace of abnormality.
Xie Yanchuan paused for a few seconds, then continued, “Jinzhi, I can tell that you’ve been appearing quite tired lately.”
“I know you’re carrying a baby, and physical fatigue is inevitable, but I can also tell that it’s not just physical tiredness.”
“I don’t think it’s work-related stress.”
Even though Xie Yanchuan didn’t understand business matters, the Xu Group was doing well, and in terms of work, no one could pressure Xu Jinzhi.

“Jinzhi, if you don’t tell , I’ll never know what you’re worrying or scared about,” Xie Yanchuan said with a sowhat serious expression.
He didn’t understand psychology, but Xu Jinzhi’s state was worrying him.
The sudden fever last night was a sign.
Xu Jinzhi looked at Xie Yanchuan and hesitated for quite a while before saying sowhat helplessly, “I’ve been having nightmares recently that have made feel quite panicked.”

Xu Jinzhi hesitated for only two seconds before nodding, “Yes.”
“Can you tell what you dreamt about?” Xie Yanchuan thought for a mont, it must be sothing terrible, or else Xu Jinzhi wouldn’t be so panicked.
“I dreamt that you t with an accident and left , Tuantuan, and the unborn baby behind,” Xu Jinzhi said with a hoarse voice, her eyes becoming moist.
This wasn’t just a nightmare but sothing that had really happened; however, she couldn’t tell Xie Yanchuan that, so she had to say it was just a nightmare.
Xie Yanchuan felt extrely heartbroken as he looked at Xu Jinzhi and promised her earnestly, “It’s just a nightmare; I won’t leave you or the child. I will always be with you.”
Xu Jinzhi didn’t say anything, only feeling a deep sense of distress and injustice inside.
He couldn’t possibly achieve that; he had left her, Tuantuan, and Sui Sui in his previous life!
“Jinzhi, don’t be afraid,” Xie Yanchuan moved closer to Xu Jinzhi and then reached out to hold her, “I will always be with you, trust .”
After a long mont, Xu Jinzhi raised her hands to hold Xie Yanchuan and said softly, “Xie Yanchuan, you have to keep your word, or this ti I definitely won’t forgive you.”
“Mhm, I’ll keep my word,” Xie Yanchuan promised Xu Jinzhi, but he didn’t notice the “this ti” Xu Jinzhi had just ntioned.
Otherwise, Xie Yanchuan would have wondered why it was “this ti.”

Because of her fever that day, Xu Zhen ordered Xu Jinzhi to rest at ho, and she hadn’t gone to the company for two days.
Xie Yanchuan, on the other hand, returned to school for classes and went to the lab as usual, but after finishing his work, he always rushed back ho first thing.
“The sester ends next week, and then it’s the winter break. I can stay at ho with you then,” Xie Yanchuan said.

“Don’t you need to rest a bit longer? Didn’t Dad say you could go back to work after the new year?” Xie Yanchuan frowned slightly, asking with so concern.
Xu Jinzhi was finally feeling better, and now she wanted to get back to work, which naturally made Xie Yanchuan a bit worried.
