Yanchuan’s voice was very gentle, and Tuantuan, having heard it, showed no signs of resistance and obediently nodded in agreent, “Okay.”
“Tuantuan is amazing, already becoming a little knight to protect his sister,” Jinzhi approached and kissed Tuantuan on his cheek.
Tuantuan didn’t fully understand what his mom ant, but since Mom said he was amazing, it must be a complint.

The servants had already prepared lunch, and after dining together, Yanchuan called the Xie Family to inform them of Jinzhi’s pregnancy.

Yanchuan nodded, “Let drive you.”
“No need,” Jinzhi refused without hesitation, “I’ve been through this before, you don’t have to worry so much. Go take a nap with Tuantuan.”
Although Jinzhi shared the sa shift adjustnts as Yanchuan, Yanchuan had his classes in the morning but had arranged to swap tis with other lecturers to accompany Jinzhi for her check-up, so he didn’t need to go to school today.
Yanchuan turned to glance at Tuantuan and then nodded in agreent.
Previously, with only Tuantuan, Yanchuan could concentrate all his attention solely on him and didn’t have to worry about being unfair, but now he must be cautious.
He was the one that was unfavorably treated, and Yanchuan knew how painful that felt; he would never let Tuantuan experience that.
Jinzhi went to the company by herself and arrived just in ti for the afternoon work hours.
However, as soon as Jinzhi entered the company, Assistant Chen imdiately spotted the problem, and given a past occurrence, he instantly had a guess.
“Mr. Xu, you…” Assistant Chen didn’t finish his sentence, but his mind was already 80% sure!

“How long is the eting scheduled?” Jinzhi asked as she moved to sit at her desk.
Assistant Chen, having regained his composure, diligently inford Jinzhi of the work schedule for the afternoon.
Jinzhi listened quietly, only slightly frowning when she heard about the golf appointnt with the CEO of Yinghuang scheduled for four in the afternoon.
Assistant Chen did not initially know about his boss’s situation; knowing it now, he felt the golf appointnt might be sowhat inappropriate.
“Should I reschedule it for a more suitable venue?” Assistant Chen suggested.
Jinzhi shook her head, “It’s okay.”
Golf was not a strenuous activity, and she wasn’t really going to play golf—it was just an excuse to talk business.
“Okay.” Assistant Chen nodded and then left the office.
After the eting that afternoon, Jinzhi left the company with Assistant Chen and headed to the golf course.
When Jinzhi and Assistant Chen arrived, several CEOs were already there, so leisurely sitting under sunshades, and others were playing golf.
It seed as though Jinzhi had arrived late.
However, knowing that she wasn’t late, Jinzhi maintained a calm deanor without any sign of panic.
“Good afternoon, Chairman Lin, Chairman Tang,” Jinzhi called out naturally as she got out of the car.
The two middle-aged n under the sunshade turned around warmly and greeted amiably, “Jinzhi is here.”
Jinzhi then casually responded, “It looks like you’ve been here for a while, Uncle Lin.”
Chairman Lin smiled, “It’s all your Uncle Chen. He insisted on playing a couple of rounds, and dragged us all here.”
Jinzhi smiled lightly and glanced at a middle-aged man not too far away who was embracing a female caddie while playing golf.
She wasn’t foolish; she naturally understood that Chairman Lin was hinting that they had been together earlier.
As for what they had been doing together, that was left for Jinzhi to slowly guess.
Jinzhi continued to smile lightly, as if she hadn’t sensed anything unusual, ready to deal with whatever ca her way.

The next day.
Jinzhi went to the office as usual, and after the morning eting, she received a call from Xu Zhen.
On the phone, Xu Zhen spoke in a mocking tone, “I heard those old fools gave you a hard ti yesterday?”
Jinzhi smiled, “The news reached you so fast?”
“Hmph!” Xu Zhen snorted coldly, sowhat angrily, “If I were you, I would have taught them a lesson on the spot.”
Jinzhi couldn’t help but laugh, “In any case, the matter is considered resolved. As for them, I’ll teach them a lesson later. There’s nothing worth getting angry over.”
Jinzhi didn’t think much of it; that’s just how business is—there are no permanent friends or enemies.
The few from yesterday indeed behaved arrogantly, but they hadn’t hard her personally, so Jinzhi didn’t take it to heart.
“Hmph!” Xu Zhen still snorted, clearly unsatisfied with Jinzhi’s approach.
Jinzhi smiled, “Don’t be angry, or you might scare your granddaughter.”
“What?” Xu Zhen didn’t catch on at first, but after hearing Jinzhi’s words, he instinctively responded.
But Xu Zhen quickly realized and asked in disbelief, “Are you pregnant?”
“Yes, isn’t that what you’ve been hoping for? Are you happy now?” Jinzhi said with a smile.
Other than Xu Zhen, neither Yanchuan nor anyone else from the Xie Family had spoken about hastening this matter. Xu Zhen had once asked, but he was a man, and even though he was facing his own daughter, so things necessitated propriety.

Now that it had suddenly co up, Xu Zhen was naturally delighted.
“When did this happen?” Xu Zhen asked with an irrepressible smile.
“I just went for a check-up yesterday morning,” Jinzhi answered.
Xu Zhen then asked, “How do you know it’s a granddaughter? Did you ask the doctor?”
“No, Tuantuan said so,” Jinzhi stated seriously.
Xu Zhen paused for two seconds, then laughed, “Whether it’s a grandson or granddaughter, it’s all the sa!”
“Are you happy?” Jinzhi smilingly asked.
As for why it was about a grandson or granddaughter, of course, it was because the child in her belly would bear the surna Xu!
