Lionel stared at Zeref, the latter feeling his body getting colder as soon as the other party looked at him. He had even lost the ability to talk because he couldn't move a muscle right now let alone the resistance.
Auguste wanted to transform into his demonic form and hurry up to protect his father, but what caused him to turn pale even more was that he couldn't move no matter how hard he tried.
Not only him but all the mbers of Spriggan 12 couldn't move even a little as if they were being chained by an invisible force. They felt as if only the God of Death himself was embracing them at this mont and not allowing them to do anything but wait for his murderous kiss.

But then ca Lionel's voice that sounded as if it had co out of the depths of Hell and broke that silence.

As soon as Lionel quietly pronounced the na of his new skill. The five-kiloter area surrounding the Imperial palace turned into a black realm separated from the real world. Shadows began to separate from the bodies of all the Spriggan and their Emperor. Except for Irene Belserion, Dimaria Yesta, and Brandish who had not recovered from the current situation at all. This is only because Lionel is interested in them in one way or another or they would have suffered the sa fate as their comrades.
Zeref stared at his black shadow who was unwilling to leave his body with bloodshot eyes. He didn't know what kind of art the enemy used but was sure not to lose to his black arts at all. Zeref couldn't move at all let alone resist.
Sa for the other Spriggan mbers, they were staring at their shadows that had been stolen from them forcibly. 11 new shadows returned to the shadow dinsion to accompany Kizaru's lone shadow.
Brandish, Irene, and Dimaria's eyes were wide in shock at this mont. They didn't know why but they knew that the other party had avoided them at this mont, they really felt complicated. How could the enemy tolerate them, would they not tolerate him if he was weak? of course not!
After taking their shadows he gave them one last look. He could see the pleading look of the blood man demon. This demon's demonic instinct was telling him that he was going to die already, but the rest didn't feel the danger of death yet, only Zeref and Auguste who seem to have realized it but they resist with all they have, and it seems that Zeref still trusts in his false immortality.

They couldn't resist at all, after realizing that they were going to die, so of them started begging for rcy like Neinhart, God Serena, and Ajeel Ral but they didn't get any reply, Zeref finally realized that his immortality wouldn' t work after being touched by that ominous scythe, but he can't resist anymore, all he can do is stare at Lionel with hate.
In the end, they were all stuck in the reaper's scythe and dragged into infinite hell. There where they would know the true aning of hell, and where they would beg for death and would not find it.
In fact, Lionel only wanted to try out his new skill and had no special malice toward them, but he didn't care, after all, he was content with such an infernal art created by one of the great devils' emperors.
Lionel controlled the dead but healthy bodies of Zeref and his subordinates and placed them in the space of the Heavenly Poison Pearl. Perhaps he would need them for sothing later to strengthen his Shadow Army.
