After confirming their plan to move the iron and tal they had collected. Given that they found quite a lot of iron and tal, it would take more ti for them to collect it before moving it.

Theodore went back downstairs and saw the soldiers and so people from Cassian’s group also helping to collect the iron and tal they found throughout the first floor.

"Is there still more to collect?" Theodore stopped one of the soldiers to ask about their progress.

"There’s still quite a lot. We were lucky enough to find many things we need in this place," the soldier replied, enthusiastic about their discovery.

"I’ll help you guys so we can finish it faster." Theodore moved with the soldier to start moving the iron and tal they found.

Since they were new to this task, the atmosphere was still good, and everyone was eager to help each other, although at first, the people from Cassian’s group were still awkward with the soldiers.

Fortunately, they adapted quickly and were willing to help Theodore and the others collect the iron and tal.

During the afternoon and evening, the people inside the mall were busy collecting the iron and tal that would soon be transferred to the military’s trucks. Given that Cassian and his group had agreed to co along, they also gathered the items they would carry.

However, the afternoon didn’t go as smoothly as they thought it would because just as everyone was resting after working all day, there was a clank of tal from the direction of the tal trellis door they were using to enter.

"Did you hear that?" Soone from Cassian’s group paused as he heard the sound of an item being thrown and hitting sothing from the direction of the tal door.

After hearing the man’s words, everyone else fell silent and tried to listen to what the man ant. But strangely, they didn’t hear anything.

"What did you hear?" Theodore, curious, also tried to ask what the man heard.

"I heard the clanking sound of objects being thrown. It sounds like soone is coming!" The man explained what he heard with a pale face. He glanced at Cassian with a worried face.

Just as Theodore was about to say sothing more, sothing astonishing happened. Suddenly, a puff of smoke could be seen spreading from the direction of the tal trellis door.

Everyone began to be alert and stood up while holding their respective weapons when they saw the puff of smoke begin to spread. The bad news didn’t stop there, as they began to hear the distinctive growls of the zombies from behind the smoke.

"The situation is not good. The zombies are getting in," Theodore warned them, moving in front of everyone with his sword.

"Shit! How did they get in here? Didn’t we close the door earlier?!" With a frown on his forehead, Roderick started ordering his subordinates to prepare to fight with the zombies that managed to enter the mall.

While Theodore and the others were busy preparing to contain the incoming zombies, the people from Cassian’s group looked even more anxious, and their faces were even worse.

Even the young man who had heard the strange voice earlier approached Cassian and whispered sothing with a frightened face.

Although Theodore was busy, he was still paying attention to his surroundings; he already sensed that the movents of the Cassian group were quite suspicious, especially regarding the young man’s words earlier when he heard a voice.

Theodore also approached Roderick to whisper, "You better keep an eye on their movents. There’s sothing with them."

"Are you sure about that guess?" Roderick looked surprised when he heard Theodore’s words because he didn’t see anything suspicious from those people.

"I don’t know, I feel like at least so of them have abilities, but it doesn’t seem like that’s the only thing they’re hiding. I’ll leave this matter to you!" Theodore patted Roderick lightly on the shoulder before he ran forward to cut off the heads of the zombies that started to appear.

Theodore imdiately beca busy when the zombies began to erge from the thinning smoke. He was no longer considering what Cassian and his group were covering up. He had to focus on slaughtering these zombies.

At first, Theodore thought that he and the soldiers, who were working together as usual, could repel this zombie attack.

But Theodore’s thinking was wrong because the number of zombies that entered the mall was increasing. Even after they killed many zombies, the number of zombies increased instead of decreasing.

Unable to handle such a large number, Theodore used his Wind Slash to repel so of the zombies that had begun to approach him.

"Roderick, there are too many of them, and I can’t hold them back. Take the others upstairs!" Theodore shouted to let Roderick and the others know their situation was worsening.

Seeing that their situation was unfavorable, Roderick imdiately ordered the people from Cassian’s group to go upstairs. anwhile, the soldiers helping Theodore slowly began to retreat along with Theodore.

While gritting his teeth, Theodore swung his sword horizontally and swung his sword as wide as he could to reach as many zombies as possible.

"You guys also hurry up and go upstairs!" Theodore reluctantly ordered the soldiers to help him to go upstairs as well.

The soldiers couldn’t just leave Theodore. Fortunately, Roderick convinced them, and he was the one who moved the soldiers to retreat one by one.

"The first floor is clear; everyone is already on the second floor," said Roderick, who was still lingering there to help Theodore from behind.

"Now it’s your turn to go, I’ll catch up with you later." Theodore already knew what he would do, so he wouldn’t sacrifice his life just like that.

Although unsure what Theodore would do, Roderick reluctantly ran to the second floor, leaving Theodore alone on the first floor. Roderick believed that Theodore must have a way to escape the zombies.

At the sa ti as Roderick’s departure, Theodore heard a notification sound from the system that made him smile widely.

Ding!

[Congratulations for the Host acquiring a new Skill, Sprint!]

"You know best that I need this skill right now!" Theodore couldn’t stop himself from praising his very understanding system.

With this new skill, Theodore could easily escape the siege of these zombies. After confirming that Roderick was upstairs, Theodore imdiately turned around and activated his Area of Protection skill.

In addition, Theodore imdiately tried his new skill, Sprint. When Theodore activated the skill, he could feel that his movents beca faster; he imdiately ran away from the zombie toward the second floor.

Theodore was surprised when he saw a wall made of iron appear suddenly after climbing the stairs to the second floor.

The iron wall was stretched before the stairs to the second floor. Because of that, the zombies on the first floor would not be able to go up to the second floor because the stairs were blocked by the iron wall that suddenly appeared.
