Finally, the long-awaited mont ca, and the truck that was initially blocking the entrance to the building began to move out of the building. The other small cars there could also get out, following the large truck.

Theodore began to drive his car to follow the Cassian group’s car out of the building. After exiting the building, Theodore followed the truck to the front of the line.

"Then we’ll split up here. We will return to base," Theodore said to Cassian, who was driving the truck.

"I hope your journey back is smooth," Cassian replied, nodding. He could only wish Theodore and his group a smooth journey.

"I hope your journey goes well, too. Thank you for letting us join you," said Roxanne, who also said her goodbyes to Cassian.

After saying goodbye, they left and started their own journey. Theodore drove his car westward, heading back to the base. While the sun was still high on the floor, Theodore intended to force his way to the base.

It would be challenging for them to deal with the zombies attacking on the streets. Although Theodore himself was pretty still determining if he could make it to the base in ti. If Theodore didn’t, they would have to find a place to spend the night.

"There aren’t too many zombies on the streets. I thought they would pile up," Roxanne said, looking out the window to see that the streets were relatively calm, with only a few zombies swaying.

"Thankfully, I don’t know who ca to this area and attracted the zombies, but at least it works in our favour this ti," explained Theodore, still quite aware of the surrounding streets; he couldn’t let his guard down now that they were alone.

"Lookout! There seems to be a horde of zombies ahead. Should we detour?" Geoffrey pointed in the direction ahead of them. It seed that far ahead, many zombies gathered in the middle of the road.

"Damn it, I was just hoping our journey out of this suburb would be smooth. There’s already a group of zombies ahead," Theodore said, hitting the steering wheel in annoyance.

Because their car would not survive being sward by a group of zombies all at once. Theodore had yet to prepare a resilient car before the zombie outbreak.

Theodore had also picked up this car on the road before the base was ford, so he was sure it would not be very resistant if they forced themselves through the group of zombies.

Their windows could easily shatter if attacked by the stronger zombies. So, to avoid damage to their car, Theodore decided to find another way to prevent the horde of zombies on the road.

"Do you know anything about the roads on the city’s outskirts?" Theodore glanced at Roxanne and Geoffrey.

"I’m just like you, who are newcors. So we don’t really know the layout of the city. Perhaps I would be quite familiar with the streets in the city center since I often go back and forth there. But I really don’t know about this area," Roxanne explained, quite worried about their situation this ti.

Theodore also realized this because many residents of City A were immigrants from other cities who ca here to work or study, given that City A was one of the most developed cities in their country.

Theodore needed to beco more familiar with the streets in this suburban area, so he took out his tablet to access the digital map he had prepared before the apocalypse occurred.

Theodore pulled a tablet from the empty wind into his hand, summoning it from within his sacred dinsion.

"If I’m not mistaken, I’ve stored a digital map of this city there. Try to find it; we. We need a map to get out of this area safely," said Theodore while giving the tablet to Roxanne, sitting beside him.

But Geoffrey imdiately snatched the tablet from his sister’s hand, "You know I know better about this, right?" Geoffrey smiled happily at Roxanne, who gave him an annoyed look.

"Yes, you should handle this matter," Roxanne replied as she waved her hand and let Geoffrey do what he wanted.

Geoffrey quickly fiddled with Theodore’s tablet. It didn’t take him long to find what Theodore had ntioned.

"I didn’t expect you to keep a digital map like this. This map will benefit our journey back to the base," Geoffrey grinned happily as he held the item that was his advantage.

As a straightforward child in this modern age, it was no wonder that Geoffrey was so brilliant and knowledgeable about advanced technology.

While Geoffrey was fiddling with his tablet, Theodore had to focus on avoiding the road where many zombies had gathered. Honestly, Theodore had no idea where they were at the mont.

It turned out that after seven days of their stay in the entertainnt center building on the city’s outskirts, quite a few people were seen cruising the suburban streets in their cars.

Theodore also understood why there weren’t too many zombies on the streets near the building before; many people were already coming to this area. But, the more Theodore drove the car away from the building, the more visible the hordes of zombies beca.

"How do you know where we are and which road is safe for us to take?" Theodore imdiately asked Geoffrey, who was still busy.

"Unfortunately, without the internet, I can’t figure out which way is safe. However, I have compiled so roads that can take us back to the base," Geoffrey explained seriously while focusing on operating the tablet in his hand.

"Then look at the streets. We have to observe which streets are safe while you mark on the map which streets are crowded with zombies." Theodore imdiately assigned Geoffrey a new task.

"Ready! I’m happy to do it!" Geoffrey laughed happily. It had been a long ti since he had used this tech stuff.

"Oh yeah, I see there are more cars in this area than when we ca here before," said Roxanne, who was busy watching the road and helping Theodore to find a safe way without zombies.

"Should we take advantage of them?" Geoffrey asked the two people older than him for their opinions.

"Utilize them? Can we?" Roxanne tilted her head in confusion at what Geoffrey said.

"For example, if we encounter zombies later, we can turn the zombies into these new people," Geoffrey said while shrugging his shoulders indifferently.

"Make it our last resource; don’t use such cunning thods while there are better ways," Theodore replied, glancing at Geoffrey, who seed too excited.

Geoffrey also closed his mouth and returned to being busy with the tablet in his hand. He looked back and forth at the road and the tablet in his hand.

Then, as Theodore turned at one of the wide intersections, they could see a large horde on the wide street, ready to attack anything that passed them at that mont.
