Although their group mbers are much better now, they still have to think of ways to kill zombies that have powers. Moreover, before they decided to go up to the first floor, they had to kill a zombie that could emit poisonous smoke.
If they don’t kill the zombies, it’s useless for them to go up again because, in the end, they will be poisoned again like before.
Cassian and the others were discussing this when Theodore woke up earlier. Once Theodore was there, they could continue the discussion again; they had to find a solution to this problem.
"We must think of a way to find the zombies that can emit toxic fus," Cassian said in a huff. He thought about going alone but couldn’t handle the zombies’ toxic fus.
"But we all know that there are many zombies there. We also can’t distinguish between zombies with powers and ordinary zombies."
"Even if we can find a zombie with powers, we might not be able to kill it before it gets poisoned by the toxic fus."
"We need soone not affected by the poison the zombies release."
As they heard those words silently, many of the group mbers glanced at Theodore. They were not blind to realize that Theodore was the only one in good health, even though he was in the front row and closest to the toxic fus.
Not to ntion, Theodore was also the one who went back upstairs to find an oxygen tank to save them all.
While Theodore himself was not that stupid to notice the silent glances from the others, he knew that he could not hide his condition, which was indeed in good health despite being exposed to the poison.
But Theodore also didn’t want to tell them about his powers, so he played dumb when they discussed the matter of killing zombies that had that power.
Not only did Theodore notice the other mbers’ silent stares, but Cassian also realized that sothing strange was about Theodore until he was not exposed to the poisonous smoke.
It’s just that Cassian also doesn’t want to tell Theodore to kill the zombies that can release toxic smoke. Moreover, Cassian knew that Theodore had gone to great lengths to find oxygen to heal them.
If Cassian asked Theodore to hunt down the strange zombie, he was worried that Theodore would think they were just using him. Cassian didn’t want Theodore to feel that way.
But Cassian realized that only Theodore could solve this problem; if he could kill the zombies with powers, they would not be so difficult to kill other zombies.
"You don’t have to feel bad for like that. I’ll go upstairs to find the zombie with the power for you," Theodore said later when he saw the look on Cassian’s face that kept changing.
Cassian looked at Theodore with surprise, not expecting him to volunteer to hunt down zombies with powers.
"Huh? Are you sure about that? I don’t want to force you; you’ve done a lot for us," Cassian replied, still not expecting Theodore to volunteer.
"It’s just that I won’t be helping you guys to defeat the remaining zombies later. That’s fine, right?" Theodore didn’t want to work too hard for them, so it would be a relief if they could defeat the remaining zombies without him.
Cassian patted Theodore’s shoulder hard, "Of course it’s fine! Just leave the rest to us later!" Cassian eagerly agreed to Theodore’s request.
Theodore had slept for a long ti, apparently. When he looked at his watch, it was already 7 p.m.; he had slept for 3 hours. It seed like it was enough for Theodore to rest; it was ti for him to get back into action.
"I’ll be right back upstairs. While I’m hunting down those zombies, you guys be ready while I’m gone." Theodore finally got up from his position and intended to return to the first floor to hunt down the powerful zombies.
"Going straight?" Cassian, who saw Theodore intending to leave, imdiately beca confused.
"Why not? After all, there’s nothing I can do here," Theodore said, looking at Cassian strangely.
Cassian scratched the back of his head in confusion. He didn’t think Theodore would leave right away, so he could at least rest a little longer.
"Oh, yes. While I’m gone, please take care of the two people I brought." This ti, Theodore whispered softly to Cassian.
"Take it easy. I’ll tell Chelsea to watch them," Cassian replied, nodding in understanding.
After leaving the ssage, Theodore could calmly go upstairs; he didn’t have to worry about Roxanne and Geoffrey downstairs.
Theodore picked up his sword while walking towards Cassian’s protective wall. Like before, Theodore jumped from the side. Fortunately, unlike last ti, there were no zombies waiting behind the wall.
That made it easy for Theodore to land on the other side of the wall. Theodore also saw that the zombies on the first floor had spread throughout the floor and were gathered in a different place than before.
Theodore moved slowly while watching the movent of the zombies. Honestly, he still couldn’t tell which zombies had power.
To tell the difference, Theodore had to familiarize himself with fighting zombies and examine which ones had power.
"It will be tough for to tell them apart." Theodore massaged his temples, dizzy from having to distinguish these zombies.
When Theodore t the zombies with powers on the 3rd floor, it was rely luck.
Now, when Theodore had to look for them among the hordes of zombies, he still couldn’t tell them apart.
Theodore wanted to do this to collect more mana crystals, which he could obtain from killing zombies with powers.
With that, Theodore hoped he could find so zombies with powers in this place, and he hoped that the mana crystals he got would be able to help him in the future.
Because Theodore couldn’t just stand there, he decided to kill the zombies that were nearby while seeing if the zombies that could emit toxic smoke were there.
Theodore used his Slash skill to increase the damage he could inflict on these evolved zombies.
The zombies ran shuffling towards Theodore. Their faces were hideous, with grayish-green faces and a lot of sli from their mouths. Their eyes also looked red for so reason.
When Theodore managed to behead the group of zombies nearby, he didn’t get any mana crystals, indicating that they were ordinary zombies that had evolved.
Theodore also walked in another direction to look for zombies that he could use as a reference to find zombies that have power. Theodore’s hunt finally started again!
