The next day
Once again, the clan leaders gathered, sitting around a large table.
Spread out on the table was a map of Konoha.
Elsewhere, Sarutobi Hiruzen sat with three others, listening to the eting. In the corner, Danzō sat silently, eyes filled with hatred—well hidden, but still burning with the desire to tear Kiyosuke apart.
Kiyosuke, on the other hand, paid him no mind at all. He held a pointer in hand, sweeping his gaze across the room.
"Due to the Nine-Tails’ attack, large portions of the village were destroyed or damaged. Now that we have the chance to rebuild, Konoha will be undergoing a full reorganization."
He tapped a section near the forest with the pointer.
"This area will be the new settlent for the Abura clan. Shibi-san, your clan has long requested forest territory. This is the perfect opportunity to relocate."
Abura Shibi, seated beside Uchiha Fugaku, nodded in approval.
The Abura used insects as their main fighting thod. There were plenty of bugs in the forest, but their old ho had always been too far. It was inconvenient.
Moreover, most mbers of the Abura clan were solitary by nature and didn’t interact much with the rest of the village. With their area often sward by insects, nearby residents had frequently complained. This relocation ca at just the right ti.
"The Nara clan will remain where they are. As for the Inuzuka clan, please relocate near the Abura."
"Residents nearby have complained repeatedly that your ninja hounds bark all night, making it impossible to sleep. Moving near the forest would be more appropriate."
"Understood."
The head of the Inuzuka clan had no objections.
They had been wanting to move for a while—just never had the opportunity.
There were too many ninja hounds, and their current compound could barely contain them. The forest would be the perfect place for the hounds to rest and roam. And they wouldn’t disturb the Abura clan.
Abura Shibi had no objections either.
"The Hyūga clan will remain where they are. Rebuild anything that needs to be rebuilt."
Hyūga Hiashi nodded.
"The destroyed police headquarters will be rebuilt in its original location. The Uchiha clan will also stay where they are."
"I’ve also heard the Uchiha population is growing. Consider buying more houses—Konoha doesn’t have any extra land to spare. It’ll help boost the village economy."
Uchiha Fugaku readily agreed. This was the best news he could’ve hoped for.
"Wait a minute!"
Danzō suddenly slamd the table and stood up.
Kiyosuke looked at him and asked,
"You have an objection?"
"Of course I do!"
"Then keep it to yourself. What’s with all the whining?"
Kiyosuke turned away.
"As I was saying—the Yamanaka and Akimichi clans will stay put..."
"Are you ignoring ?!" Danzō roared. "I’m a Kage Advisor!"
"And?"
Kiyosuke casually twirled his pointer and aid it at the map.
"You two will remain in place. No changes. As for the Kurama clan, you’ll be relocated here."
Danzō was seething. This was too much!
"The Uchiha compound and the police force headquarters should be moved here and rebuilt in this area!" he shouted, pointing at the section near Konoha’s prison.
Uchiha Fugaku frowned.
"Danzō-sama, the Uchiha Police are responsible for the village’s internal security. That location is too far away. It would delay our ergency response."
"If there’s an ergency, the ANBU can handle it."
Danzō said coldly.
Kiyosuke replied,
"The Uchiha will do as I’ve said. And as for the elderly—just sit there and watch."
He pushed Danzō aside.
"You should be doing as I say."
"Oh? You’re teaching how to do my job now?"
Kiyosuke pointed at the sa spot on the map.
"Almost forgot—this area will be the new compound for the Shimura clan."
"What?! You bastard!"
"Your clan’s population is growing, right? Cramped in that tiny space can’t be good. This area’s perfect—and it even has a training field."
"Yes, that’ll do. It can be the Shimura clan’s private training ground."
He grinned.
"Though it’s not like your clan’s produced any remarkable shinobi lately."
Kiyosuke let out a mocking chuckle and glanced around at the other clan heads.
"Alright, that’s everything. Those of you moving, go let your clans know. No need to rush—you’ve got one week to finish relocating."
He raised a hand and slapped away Danzō’s incoming one.
The other clan leaders simply sat in silence, eyes lowered, watching the drama unfold.
Everyone knew Kiyosuke didn’t get along with Danzō.
No one in the upper ranks of Konoha considered this a secret.
And frankly, most were happy to watch. Danzo—no one had liked him in years. If he weren’t a Kage Advisor, soone would’ve punched him by now.
"Asakawa Kiyosuke, don’t forget—you’re not the Hokage! The authority you have was granted to you by Konoha!"
"And?"
Kiyosuke’s eyes turned ice cold as he looked at Danzō.
Like he was already a dead man.
"Moving the Uchiha out there isn’t good for the village. Their police force exists to protect Konoha."
"The ANBU can handle it."
"The ANBU are the Hokage’s personal guard. They’re handpicked elites who deal with critical missions. You want them to babysit the village on top of that? How much free ti do you think they have?"
"If sothing happens and we’re short-handed because of this, who’s taking responsibility? You, Shimura Danzō?"
"Who gave you your authority anyway? The Third. Without him, you’d just be a jōnin—almost at retirent age."
Danzō’s face turned pale, then flushed red.
Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu glanced at Hiruzen. Seeing that he remained silent, they followed suit.
"The Second Hokage founded the Konoha Police and entrusted it to the Uchiha because he believed in them. Undermining that is just sowing division within the village."
"Soone like you owes the entire village an apology!"
"You—!"
"What, ’you’?"
Kiyosuke was relentless.
"The Second Hokage was your teacher. His decisions were for Konoha’s long-term good."
"The Hokage himself hasn’t spoken, yet you’re jumping around? What’s your goal here?"
"Trying to take the Hokage’s seat? What’s next? Getting your ugly mug carved on the Hokage Rock?"
"I—I..."
"What, ’I’ again?"
Kiyosuke clapped his hands.
"These are the Hokage’s decisions. Feel free to confirm with him."
"Also—Shimura clan, you’ve got one week to move."
"If you don’t, the Konoha Police will co help."
Uchiha Fugaku nodded, sneering.
"The Konoha Police will be happy to help move everything the Shimura clan owns."
"You... You all..."

"Chōza-san, I heard the Akimichi clan opened a new barbecue place in the village. Got any discount coupons for ?"
