In the end, Kiyosuke chose to learn Sage Art: White Rage Technique, Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation, and Sage Art: Object Transmutation.
Both the White Rage Technique and Inorganic Reincarnation were techniques that even Kabuto Yakushi later ca to study—they were incredibly powerful Sage Arts.
The White Rage Technique creates constant vibrations in the air within a designated area, making the target feel like every bone in their body is grinding against each other. It can even cause paralysis. At the sa ti, the technique emits blinding flashes and an ear-piercing sound, disrupting both the target’s vision and hearing.
This technique is so terrifying that even Sasuke and Itachi’s Susanoo forms struggled to remain stable under its effects.
But Kiyosuke had a unique advantage—his corneas and his ability to elentalize his body allowed him to ignore most abnormal bodily responses. Otherwise, using this jutsu would be a classic case of harming the enemy by a thousand but injuring yourself by eight hundred.
As for Inorganic Reincarnation, it wasn’t just a simple ninjutsu that used chakra to control matter. It actually breathed life into inorganic materials, turning things like stone and earth into controllable, living constructs. Under this technique, the movents of inanimate objects beca lightning-fast.
Object Transmutation, on the other hand, was a unique genjutsu exclusive to Tagorihi. It was the one she had used the first ti Kiyosuke t her—the grand illusion of a majestic gate, the feast that was indistinguishable from reality. It wasn’t just an illusion anymore. It bordered on becoming real.
Kiyosuke began with Inorganic Reincarnation. The White Rage Technique was indiscriminate—only the caster could move freely while everyone else, allies and enemies alike, would be affected. It was only usable when acting alone.
But Inorganic Reincarnation was perfectly suited to him. By reshaping the terrain to his advantage, it was useful in both offense and defense. The cost-to-benefit ratio was excellent!
Learning it, though...
"Hey, are you even listening to ?" Ichikishimahi was currently explaining the principles and application of Inorganic Reincarnation to Kiyosuke. Her lecture was so long-winded, it had him questioning the aning of life.
Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
"Pay attention in class!" Ichikishimahi pinched Kiyosuke’s cheeks. "Do you even realize how many people out there would kill for the chance to learn Sage Arts? Even your teacher never got this opportunity! Don’t you dare take this for granted!"
In all of history, including Kiyosuke, only four people had ever learned the Ryūchi Cave Sage Arts. No one even rembered how long ago the last one was. Ichikishimahi’s teaching materials were ancient—completely outdated. Listening to them was like trying to decipher fog. Kiyosuke’s brain was spinning.
"I know, I know! I’m trying to digest what you’re saying!" Kiyosuke protested. "I haven’t stopped being human yet! And humans have limits, Ichikishimahi!"
"If shedding your humanity would help you learn faster, I’d ask the Great White Snake Sage to turn you into a snake again."
Just the mory of that previous agony made Kiyosuke snap to attention. "I’ll study properly!"
"Good. Now, let’s continue. When using Inorganic Reincarnation, you need to pay attention to..."
...
When he returned to Konoha for a al, Kiyosuke was completely out of it. Seeing his dazed look, Asuma and Kurenai were startled.
Asuma stared at him. "Kiyosuke, seriously? My old man told you were off training at Ryūchi Cave or sothing. What the hell happened to you? You’ve only been gone a day!"
"A day?" Kiyosuke grabbed Asuma by the shoulders, practically hysterical. "Do you even know what I’ve been through today? Do you!?"
"Kiyosuke..."
"Kiyosuke is dead! Standing in front of you now is Asakawa. Sage. Kiyosuke! I’m going to master Sage Arts! Not even the Sage of Six Paths can stop ! I swear it!"
Asuma and Kurenai exchanged a look.
He’s totally snapped.
Kurenai tried to calm him down. "Okay, okay, you’ll get it. You’ll definitely master it. Now sit down and eat sothing."
"I don’t want food or water! I want to learn Sage Arts!"
He’s gone. Completely unhinged.
"Nope. This guy’s lost it. We’re going to the hospital! Now!"
Asuma hoisted Kiyosuke over his shoulder and took off running toward the hospital. Kurenai followed close behind. Along the way, Kiyosuke kept yelling:
"I will master it! I swear I will!"
Another day, another social death added to the list.
...
Ah... My life is over!
At the hospital, Kiyosuke lay in bed, eyes lifeless.
Ichikishimahi’s cramming thod had been brutal. She shoved all the knowledge into him at once, going over every principle in detail. In Sage Mode, Kiyosuke’s mory and processing power were greatly enhanced, but even then, the flood of information was too much. He hadn’t had any real rest, so once he left training, he was in a fog of confusion.
To put it plainly, it was like pulling an all-nighter for several days straight. His emotions were frayed, and his mind unstable.
When he woke up, he realized he had once again died a social death. After all, Asuma had carried him, screaming like a lunatic, all the way through the village to the hospital. He probably looked just like one of those "I’m not crazy! Don’t give ds!" types.
Rin, who had just started working at the Konoha hospital, opened the door and walked in. Seeing his dead-eyed stare, she sighed helplessly.
"Kiyosuke, don’t be like this. The director said you’re just suffering from exhaustion. A few more days of sleep and you’ll be fine."
"Rin... My pain is greater than yours..." Kiyosuke wailed. "Have you heard what people are saying about in the village now? ’Orochimaru’s lunatic disciple’! That’s what they’re calling ! And Orochimaru-sensei is a total lunatic himself!"
So... you’re not denying you’re a lunatic?
Rin maintained her polite smile.
"Just rest. A good night’s sleep will fix everything."
"Ah... my life is already over."
She quietly closed the door behind her.
The director was right. He really did need rest.
...
Of course, Kiyosuke didn’t rest. He went right back to Ryūchi Cave for training.
A week later, at Ryūchi Cave, Kiyosuke stood before a small mound of dirt that had risen from the ground and exclaid,
"Yes! I did it!"
Ichikishimahi said, "You still need more practice, but I’ll admit you’ve grasped the basics. Not bad."
"Now all I need to do is increase the amount of Sage Chakra output." Kiyosuke bead with confidence, channeling more Sage Chakra into the ground beneath him.
"Sage Art: Inorganic Reincarnation!"
The ground reacted as if it had co to life. Under Kiyosuke’s control, a swarm of earthen spikes shot upward, crashing into the ceiling above.
With a loud rumble, a rain of stalactites ca tumbling down.
Ichikishimahi gave an approving nod.
"Not bad. You’ve learned it. Let Tagitsuhi teach you the White Rage Technique, and as for Object Transmutation, you’ll need to ask Tagorihi personally. She’s the only one who can teach that."
"I don’t have much ti now. I need to get to the battlefield."
The war was still ongoing in Konoha, and he needed to head to the front lines of the battle between Konoha and Kirigakure.
