Camila took the sword out of her storage ring, the treasure she had obtained in the Forest of Treasures.

Seeing how Camila pulled out such a shiny sword from her storage ring, Theos knew imdiately that this sword was about the Treasure she had ntioned.

"So, this is your treasure, huh," Theos comnted, his eyes fixed on the sword that, from its aura and elegance, seed to be divine.

However, just by Theos' presence, the sword had a violent reaction...

*Buzzing*

The sword constantly shook and trembled, emitting a strange and weird sound that puzzled both Theos and Camilla.

"What's wrong?" asked Theos first, looking at Camila.

"I don't know, this hasn't happened before" she affird.

Under her and Theos' startled eyes, out of Theos' storage ring ca the Death Fragnt.

The Death Shard floated in the air, approaching Camila's sword.

Camila's sword was released from her grip. Despite her strength as Grand Master, she could not stop the weapon's advance in the slightest. In the end, he gave up, watching what would happen next.

The two blades drew closer until they ca to a halt about a ter apart. However, an aura, l rather, two auras ford an aura.

Yes, the energy of the Death Fragnt rged with the energy of Camilla's sword, thus creating a sort of sphere-shaped aura that covered the two swords.

And as if the current scene wasn't shocking enough, the two swords began to spin continuously, so fast that you couldn't even see the shape of the two swords.

"Hm, item fusion?" muttered Theos to himself, rembering about this sort of ritual in the original novel.

This "ritual" could co in several forms. But the most common is for one item to be the complent of the other, thus leading to an inevitable fusion.

Although these cases are special and rare, sotis the fusion cannot happen due to certain circumstances. Especially when an item does not want it, after all, they are inevitable rgers, they will always happen if they et certain requirents, but if an item has self-awareness and does not want to rge, the rger would be canceled at that ti.

'But the problem is not that they are rging, it's that... How will they be able to rge? They are two different swords; one has properties of Death, and the other is literally from the Godria, a sacred tree,' he thought.

The idea of canceling the rger had already crossed his mind several tis.

However, his instinct told him that he would wait until the fusion was completed. He could lose a great weapon right now, but he chose to risk it.

After all, he who risks doesn't win, right?

Not only that but if the two weapons were to rge into one, there would possibly be a battle between Camila and Theos as to who would get the rged weapon, which would undoubtedly be one of the best weapons in the world.

And if that scenario happened, it was hard to say who would win between the two currently.

Silently, the two waited for the weapon fusion to finish.

The gyrations of the two weapons together stopped, again the two were facing each other. However, Theos and Camila could see a big difference.

"The Shard of Death seems more... Angelic?" he said, surprised.

Camilla didn't say much, but she knew that her treasure had had changes, as if it were more devilish, with the darkness being in front of its forrly divine blade.

Seeing the two blades in front of each other, they realized that, despite being very difficult, they were also quite similar....

"Is the fusion over?" asked Camilla.

Theos didn't answer, mainly, because the swords themselves had responded... The aura surrounding them slowly diminished.

As if defying the very laws of gravity, the two weapons slowly descended, causing both Theos and Camila to react to grab their respective weapons.

However, an anomaly occurred....

As she grabbed the Death Shard, a strange beam of darkness traveled to Theos' forehead, leaving a faint dragon mark, a dragon entirely black with violet hues.

As fast as the mark appeared, it was even faster when it disappeared, lasting there for less than a second.

But with that second alone, Theos' mind opened completely, as if reaching enlightennt.

'What is this,' Theos asked himself inwardly.

Theos saw a lot of lives flashing through his mind, but he could see nothing but shadows. As if the very people in those lives were nothing but Darkness and Shadows.

Suddenly, the image changed...

"Theos?", Camila called, repeatedly waving her hand in front of Theos' face.

"Huh?" he reacted, staring at Camila in confusion. "What happened?" she asked.

Seeing that Theos had finally reacted, Camila expelled a sigh of relief. "You suddenly stared at nothing for several seconds, not reacting or doing anything, as if you were in a coma," he explained.

Hearing Camila's explanation, Theos nodded briefly. He didn't know how much ti had passed in his mind.

[The Host just had a new skill: ???, rank: ????]

The system notified a new skill after a long ti, causing Theos to frown and I looked at the sword.

The Death Fragnt had sought it out and obtained it before resting briefly in the tree. Owning the sword, he could faintly sense where it was, as he felt it, so it was not a difficult or ti-consuming task.

However, now, after the fusion, the weapon had given him another ability. What would this be? And apparently, an ability that even the system could not detect.

Theos could only keep the sword in his storage ring.

"Thank you so much for bringing to my senses," Theos thanked, continuing. "Didn't you feel sothing enter your mind?" he asked.

Camilla shook her head.

"By the way, I want to make you a great offer," Camila suddenly comnted, ignoring the fact that they had been talking about weapons.

Theos signaled with his hands for her to continue, so she spoke again:

"I want you to join the Student Council."
