"Five of them… maybe more inside their huts," Blade assessed, his grip tightening. "I need to take them out one by one. A direct fight would be suicide."

Just as he was strategizing, a new quest notification appeared before his eyes.

[ Quest Updated: Troll Settlent Extermination ]

- Objective: Eliminate all trolls in the settlent (5/?? remaining).

- Bonus: Complete without taking damage for an extra reward.

A smirk crossed Blade's lips. "An extra reward, huh? Alright then, let's do this carefully."

With silent steps, he moved into position, ready to take down his first troll.

But first he looked at his Status Screen.

"Hmm, I should add so points to my Strength and Agility," he mumbled, allocating 20 points to each.

"Good, now I'm ready," he murmured as he gripped his sword tightly, preparing for battle.

With his stats adjusted and his sword firmly in hand, Blade took a deep breath, steadying himself. The air around the troll settlent was thick with the scent of damp earth and the distant stench of rotting at.

"Ti to get started," he muttered, stepping forward cautiously.

As he neared the settlent, he spotted the first troll—a hulking creature with mottled green skin, its muscles bulging as it gnawed on the remains of so unfortunate beast. The troll hadn't noticed him yet.

Blade smirked. "Good. Let's see how well this works."

He tightened his grip on his sword and dashed forward, aiming for the creature's neck. The mont the blade made contact, the troll let out a guttural roar, staggering back.

[ Critical Hit! ]

"Not bad," Blade muttered, quickly repositioning himself as the troll swung its massive arm at him. He ducked, rolling to the side before slashing at its leg, aiming to cripple its movents.

The troll howled in pain, its movents slowing. But just as Blade prepared to strike again, he heard deep growls echoing from behind him.

More trolls had noticed.

"Great," Blade sighed. "Guess it's ti for a real fight."

Without hesitation, he raised his sword, ready to take them all on.

The ground trembled beneath Blade's feet as three more trolls erged from the settlent, their yellow eyes glowing in the dim light. Each one stood at least twice his height, their thick arms resembling tree trunks. One of them clutched a crude, jagged club, while the others cracked their knuckles, ready to tear him apart.

[Troll Warriors (Lv. 45) ]

Blade exhaled sharply. "Alright… let's see how tough you guys really are."

Without waiting, he lunged at the injured troll, slashing across its chest before flipping backward to avoid a retaliating swing. His agility allowed him to weave between attacks, but with every step, he could feel the raw power of the trolls pressing in.

One of them swung its club at him—fast. Too fast.

[ Danger! ]

Blade barely managed to raise his sword in ti.

CRASH!

The force sent him skidding backward, his arms numb from the impact. His health bar dipped slightly, but he ignored it.

[ -325 HP ]

"Tsk… These guys hit hard," he muttered, shaking off the pain.

Instead of backing down, he charged in again, ducking low before slashing upward, his blade biting deep into another troll's thigh. Blood sprayed as the creature roared, stumbling.

Taking advantage, Blade leaped onto its massive arm, running up its shoulder and driving his sword deep into its neck. The troll let out a guttural scream before collapsing to the ground.

[ Troll Warrior Defeated! ]

[ 12,500 XP ]

Before he could catch his breath, the remaining trolls attacked in unison.

"Shit!" Blade cursed, narrowly dodging as a fist the size of a boulder slamd into the ground beside him. Dust and debris flew everywhere.

He had to finish this quickly.

Gritting his teeth, he activated his skill.

[ Skill Activated: Shadow Step ]

His body flickered, becoming a blur as he weaved through the trolls' attacks. Erging behind one, he delivered a devastating strike to its Achilles tendon, making it collapse to one knee.

Before the troll could recover, Blade leapt onto its back and plunged his sword into its skull.

[ Critical Hit! ]

[ Troll Warrior Defeated! ]

[ 13,000 XP ]

One left.

The final troll hesitated, glancing at its fallen comrades. It let out a furious roar, gripping its club with both hands before swinging wildly.

Blade smirked. "Big mistake."

With precise footwork, he dodged the attack and rushed forward, slashing across its chest in rapid succession. The wounds piled up, and the troll's movents beca sluggish.

Seeing an opening, Blade jumped high, raising his sword. With a powerful downward strike, he drove the blade straight through the troll's skull.

The creature shuddered, then collapsed with a final groan.

[ Troll Warrior Defeated! ]

[ 14,000 XP ]

[ Quest Updated: 3/10 Trolls Defeated ]

Blade exhaled, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Three down… seven more to go."

He looked toward the heart of the settlent, where the remaining trolls lurked.

[ Level Up! ]

Current Level: 41

Stat Points Gained: 450

Strength: 140 14

Agility: 122 12.2

Intelligence: 125 12.5

Stamina: 118 11.8

Blade looked over his newly allocated stats, feeling the surge of power flowing through him. His strength, agility, intelligence, and dexterity were now at 100 each, making him more well-rounded and lethal. The extra stamina would help him endure longer battles and stay on his feet longer against tougher foes.

Plus thanks to his gear 10% increase in four major stats, he got so extra ones too.

He could feel his muscles tightening with newfound strength, and his movents beca even swifter, more calculated. His body felt lighter, yet more durable. The combined boosts to his agility and dexterity allowed for quicker reflexes, while his intelligence gave him more clarity in battle, letting him anticipate enemy movents faster.

"Yeah, this will definitely help," he muttered as he adjusted his grip on the sword, feeling the increased power within him.

With his stats set, Blade surveyed the battlefield. The remaining trolls in the settlent didn't seem as intimidating now. In fact, he was eager to see how his new stats would perform in a real fight.

"Alright," Blade said with a grin, "Let's finish this."
