Michael woke up in his bed, staring at the ceiling. This wasn't the world of Overgeared — it was his ho in the Marvel Universe.

After finishing the event yesterday, he had logged out and returned to Marvel and fell asleep arriving here.

"Well, that was enjoyable," he muttered, stretching as he climbed out of bed.

He walked out into the living room and sat at the table. One of the maids nearby noticed him and stood, offering a small bow.

"Where's Mom?" he asked.

"She went out earlier, sir. Said there was so matter that needed attending," the maid replied with a polite smile.

Michael let out a quiet sigh, running a hand through his hair as he settled into the chair. The soft hum of the television played in the background, flickering images casting light across the room.

He glanced over at the screen — a news broadcast covering the latest updates on the aftermath of the New York invasion. The city was still picking up the pieces: rebuilding streets, cleaning debris, and dealing with the political chaos that followed the alien attack.

"Sa old ss," he muttered, reaching for a drink.

One of the maids moved to refill his glass, but he waved her off gently.

"I'm good."

He sat there for a while, half-watching the TV as they cut to footage of damage control teams, reports of missing persons, and speculation about the next major threat.

The world outside was a ss — but inside his ho, it was quiet. Peaceful.

Michael stretched as he lay back on the couch, eyes half-lidded as the flickering light of the TV washed over him.

"I wonder what the next major thing was in Marvel… I don't really rember," he muttered to himself, rubbing the back of his neck.

The broadcast shifted to a panel of comntators arguing about enhanced individuals, the Sokovia Accords, and rumors of new threats surfacing worldwide. Michael let out a soft chuckle.

"Guess I'll find out soon enough."

He reached for the remote, switching channels aimlessly.

The TV buzzed with the usual stream of news, but today, the headlines were grim.

"Breaking news out of New York — another attack. Authorities are still working to assess the damage. The city has been placed on high alert, as mysterious figures continue to wreak havoc."

The screen cut to a live broadcast of the wreckage, ergency responders rushing to assist citizens. The streets, usually bustling, were eerily quiet, with signs of destruction everywhere.

"Well, it's a ss, but it'll get fixed," Michael muttered to himself, staring at the news for a mont before the focus shifted to discussions about the assassination of various world leaders.

"Well, they're still going on about it," he sighed as he shifted on the couch. He closed his eyes, letting the TV chatter fade into the background. "Damn, I'm getting bored now," he mumbled to himself, feeling his eyelids grow heavy.

He sank deeper into the couch, his mind drifting off. "How much money did she make for , anyway?" he thought lazily, before sleep finally overtook him.

After several hours, Michael awoke. He stretched, realizing he had drifted off while watching the news. The world outside seed unchanged, but his mind was occupied with other matters now.

Michael mumbled to himself as he glanced over the news about Lady Hydra, the new Kingpin, who had risen to power after the death of the previous Kingpin, a situation Michael had personally orchestrated.

"Well, ti to see how much she's made for ," he muttered as he prepared to make his move. With a flick of his wrist, he activated his teleportation ability, and in an instant, he appeared at the head of Fisk Tower.

The air was thick with the tension of the city as Michael surveyed the scene, noting the way the building's security had been beefed up under her reign. His thoughts were consud with what Lady Hydra had been up to in his absence, and how she was running the show now that she was in control.

As Michael stepped out into the foyer, Viper, now the new Kingpin herself, looked up from behind her desk. The transition was seamless, yet the weight of her newfound power was undeniable. She was the sa, but the aura of authority around her was stronger now, sharper.

"Boss, you just appeared out of nowhere," she remarked, her voice calm but with a tone that held a sense of control. She stood up, her hands resting lightly on the desk as she regarded him.

Michael smirked, his expression unreadable. "Just keeping things efficient. Thought I'd check in and see how the new Kingpin's doing."

Viper, or Lady Hydra now, gave a small, knowing smile. "Everything's running smoothly. I've expanded our reach, cleaned up the sses left behind, and secured the empire. What's yours is still being handled. I trust you'll be pleased with the profits."

She walked toward him, her movents graceful, yet her presence now carried the weight of the organization's full might. "Anything else you need, Michael?" Her eyes glinted with confidence, the power of the Kingpin title already fitting her well.

Michael studied her for a mont, then nodded. "I'll take a look at what you've done. But I want to make sure things are still... under control."

Viper chuckled softly, a knowing glint in her eyes. "Always, boss."

Michael walked further into the office, his eyes scanning the room as he took in the changes that had co with Viper's rise. The once cold, sterile atmosphere of Fisk Tower had transford under her leadership. Expensive artwork lined the walls, and security systems humd quietly in the background, more advanced than ever before.

Viper, no longer the subordinate but the Queen of the underworld, had truly made the place her own. Her reign was marked by subtlety and power, both in equal asure.

"Impressive," Michael said, his voice tinged with approval. He glanced back at her as she moved toward her desk, sitting down with a fluid motion. "You've certainly cleaned up well."

Viper smiled, leaning back in her chair. "I've had ti. And, let's not forget, a little... help from the boss." Her tone was playful, but the respect was clear in the way she addressed him.
