"You’re going too? Don’t you have court affairs to deal with?"

Su Pan’er was astonished!

In recent days, although Qin Yi had made every effort to spend ti with her, Su Pan’er had also noticed the sheer volu of state affairs Qin Yi had to deal with every day!

He would get up at dawn for the morning court, which was equivalent to five in the morning in later tis, and he would usually rise one hour earlier to exercise in the side palace hall for One Incense Stick’s Ti before changing into his dragon robe for the Court. By the ti the morning court session ended, it was usually well past eight o’clock. Now that His Majesty had just ascended the throne, most of the ti, after the morning court session, Qin Yi would have breakfast with her and the children, and then summon ministers to discuss state affairs privately. He was exceedingly busy at noon, mostly having no ti to spare. By the ti he finally found leisure, the Palace Maids had already lit the palace lamps, and night had fallen!

It was precisely because his daily schedule was so full that Su Pan’er was so surprised to hear him say he would accompany her outside the palace to play tomorrow!

"Court affairs will never be done in a day, but life must go on. It’s not a big deal to accompany Pan’er out for a trip," said Qin Yi with clear understanding.

"You said it yourself!"

Su Pan’er was delighted!

She even gave special instructions to the kitchen to prepare several of Qin Yi’s favorite dishes, and at dinner ti, she took the initiative to serve him.

Qin Yi watched Su Pan’er’s joyful deanor, just smiled, and casually dismissed everyone around him.

Once the Palace Maids and Eunuchs had left Unnoticed, he leaned close to Su Pan’er’s ear, "If you really want to please , how about... tonight..."

Su Pan’er blinked, raised her eyes, and t Qin Yi’s gaze filled with an insinuated aning, instantly blushing.

"Stop fooling around."

She dodged in a fluster, angrily picked up so food from the bowl with chopsticks, and placed it into his bowl, "You have your bowl of rice, can’t you keep quiet? If you keep talking nonsense, I won’t serve you food anymore!"

"Ha ha..."

Qin Yi suddenly burst into a hearty laugh.

Before Su Pan’er could get angry, he swiftly pulled her into his embrace.

Su Pan’er exclaid, instinctively trying to break free from Qin Yi’s hold, but he hugged her even tighter!

His face wore a seductive smile, looking devilishly charming.

"Really not going to serve food? Hmm!"

Su Pan’er was sowhat panic-stricken, feeling like a "poor lamb" under his aggressive gaze, wanting to flee but finding nowhere to escape!

She struggled subconsciously, pressing her hand against his chest, trying to put so distance between them. But in her carelessness, she knocked over the bowl in front of her, spilling it and leaving a large stain of gravy on her peony-embroidered dress.

"Oh! Look what you... I am all dirty now..."

Her reaction unexpectedly pleased Qin Yi.

"It doesn’t matter. After we finish our dinner, I will personally undress you."

Qin Yi laughed even more joyously, casually picked up the chopsticks, and fed a bite to Su Pan’er, "I know you’re upset that I was enjoying the delicious food alone, aren’t you? Here, let your husband feed you, open your mouth!"

"I won’t eat it! Let go, if the children see us, they are going to laugh at you!"

Su Pan’er hurriedly covered her mouth, attempting to resist stubbornly.

"Even if Little Yanyan really saw us, she would only say how much her Emperor Father and Empress Mother are in love. She wouldn’t laugh at !"

"You have the thickest skin!"

Su Pan’er finally broke free from his arms and glared fiercely at him a couple of tis, not caring about appearances anymore, and quickly fled into the side palace hall.

"Jiu Lan, help get a set of clothes."

"Your Majesty, the words Feng Gui Ren said in the heat of the mont were quite intriguing. Your Majesty, what do you make of it?"
