The two young maidservants, who were originally on guard outside the door, blushed with embarrassnt.
Aunt Wang quietly appeared outside the door, pushing the two young maidens and gestured them away.
The two maidservants acted as if they had received a royal pardon!
Without daring to linger a mont longer, they ran off hurriedly with flushed faces, never looking back.
Aunt Wang listened at the door for a mont, her face filled with joy.
Unable to contain herself, she folded her hands in prayer, giving ceaseless thanks to the Bodhisattva Guanyin of the Southern Seas, the Tathagata Buddha, and all other deities.
Finally, their lady had reaped the sweet reward after all the bitterness!
Perhaps others were unaware, but amongst their closest old servants, who could possibly be ignorant?
Though Lord Marquis and the lady shared their bed every night, the pristine condition of their bedding had caused deep worry amongst the old servants ti and ti again.
All n in the world are fickle!
The young lady is still young; if the lady were to lose Lord Marquis’s favor and other wives and concubines were introduced, how would the young lady live then?
However, today, after a long storm, there was finally a clearing.
When the lady becos pregnant again in the future and gives birth to an extraordinary child, both the lady and the young lady will have soone to rely on, and, so too, will these old servants.
The thought of these brought an undefended joy to Aunt Wang’s face!
She quietly took a few steps toward the outside and stood on the long corridor, vigilantly observing the movents on the left and right corridors. She absolutely couldn’t let anyone disturb the lady’s good fortune!
Inside the house.
It was warm as spring!
Su Pan’er lay on her side, wrapped in a quilt.
"Do you want to drink water?"
"Let fetch you so water."
