The ear-piercing screams nearly ruptured everyone’s eardrums, scaring the chickens and dogs all over the yard! The wild rabbit burst out from Su He’er’s arms.

Everyone present was scared out of their wits!

They subconsciously steered clear of the danger.

The nurous mbers of the Su family that had originally gathered outside the house walked hurriedly out of the various rooms in the courtyard upon hearing the terrible screams. They converged at the entrance of the kitchen.

"What’s happening? Has sothing big happened?"

Curious, everyone craned their necks to get a better look.

Su He’er was already scared into falling to the ground with her legs buckling under her. A suspicious yellow-brown puddle was spreading between her legs. Her face was as white as a ghost, her eyes wide open. She was pointing at the basket backpack, unable to utter a single word.

As everyone hurriedly looked over, they saw a long, blood-red tongue shoot out of the basket backpack with a "swoosh".

Imdiately following, a python’s head appeared.

The python opened its big bloody mouth, stuck out its trifurcated tongue, its snake body, slightly smaller than a small bowl, twisted, issuing strange hissing noises towards people. Its inverted triangle eyes stared coldly at the crowd, sent chills down their spines, like falling into an ice cellar in the winter – an intense chill!

For a mont, the courtyard was quiet. Then, shrieks rang one after another.

"Mama, a snake—"

"Run!"

Everyone was taken aback, scrambling in all directions to escape.

Su Yue’er’s face turned as white as a sheet, her body shaking like a leaf, after a mont of shock, she bolted.

Despite appearing delicate and weak, her running speed outstripped everyone else’s!

Before anyone else could react, she had already pushed away Su Xian’er standing in front of her and ran towards the door like a bolt of lightning.

Su Xian’er was pushed uncontrollably forward, directly face to face with the python. The snake raised its body high, looking down at her intimidatingly, its eyes flickering with endless chilling light.

Scared, Su Xian’er let out a terrified scream, her eyes rolled back, and she fainted.

This python, slightly smaller than a small bowl, showed no fear of humans. It stuck out its trifurcated tongue and hissed at its leisure. It seed to sniff her scent, a look of disgust flashed in its eyes. It raised its head and continued to look around.

It quickly found the direction of the wild rabbit and crawled towards it leisurely.

The Patriarch Su’s old face also changed color, where did this big snake co from?

"Don’t panic! Don’t scatter, don’t be afraid!"

He hurriedly yelled at the crowd, "What are you waiting for? Quickly find soone to catch it. What if it bites soone?"

The Su family’s few uncles were a bit shaky, circling the python, but unable to go forward and catch it.

The python was not afraid of people at all!

Instead, it propped up its body with its tail, making a hissing sound from its mouth. Its tail swept on the ground, hit Su Xian’er several tis.

She rolled uncontrollably a couple of tis until she hit the wall of the kitchen. A large bump imdiately appeared on her forehead.

The crowd let out another round of screams!

This made Patriarch Su even more angry: "What are you dawdling for? Are you all useless? Hurry up and catch it, stop standing around!"

Instead of going forward, a few uncles instinctively took a few steps back after being scolded. They felt hot on their faces and were too embarrassed to speak.

Following behind, Qin Yi couldn’t help but laugh. Wasn’t this the snake that Pan’er was playing with before?

Why is it still alive?

His gaze instinctively swept over to where Su Pan’er was. As expected, he saw a plump figure leaning against the wall at the kitchen door.

Su Pan’er, with a look of arrogance, was looking at the chaos all around her. A mocking light quickly flashed across her eyes.

Only when the scene beca too chaotic to contain did she stretch out lazily and step forward with indifference, "It’s just a harmless little worm. What are you all afraid of?"

She extended her plump hand and accurately seized the python’s tail, catching the snake on her hand.

Heh!

Everyone was startled!

Each of them retreated, looking at Su Pan’er as though they are looking at a monster.

Qin Yi’s mouth twitched continuously. Didn’t the foolish woman know to avoid the crowd in such situations?

"Th-th-th-this..."

The patriarch Su’s lips were trembling severely, pointing at Su Pan’er and the python in her hand, but he couldn’t utter a word for a long ti.

Su Pan’er’s expression was indifferent. She was playing with the python in her hand, "This? I just caught this little creature on the road, planning to add it to the al at noon. It was lying nicely in the basket backpack, how did it run out?" Her eyes briefly passed over Su He’er and the others.

The python, having lost its freedom, instinctively constricted her arm, trying to escape.

However, Su Pan’er was faster. She grabbed the tail of the snake and gave it a shake!

The python’s body beca like a boneless rope, and it stopped struggling.

"Add...add to the al?"

The audience was stunned.

"Isn’t this the case? The at of this python is substantial, and if we add an old hen to it, we can stew a pot of dragon and phoenix soup, the taste must be fantastic! Heh heh..."

Speaking of delicious food, being a foodie, Su Pan’er smacked her lips, her eyes sparkling, showing her interest.

Qin Yi held his forehead, this was too embarrassing!

Su Xian’er, who had been startled, finally ca back to her senses and couldn’t help but scread. She covered the lump on her forehead and cried loudly. Su He’er, who had been scared into wetting her pants, was so shocked that she began to cry and ran into the inner room. The rest quickly ran to Su Yue’er, who was hiding at the door, and stared angrily at Su Pan’er.

Su Yue’er’s makeup had also smudged, her neat bun had co loose, and a gold-plated hairpin was swaying precariously, making her look quite flustered.

She lowered her head and took a deep breath, suppressing her frustration. A flash of coldness quickly swept across her eyes. Lifting her head, her eyes, however, were full of affection as she looked at Su Pan’er and she couldn’t help but sigh and shake her head!

The words that ca out were exceptionally gentle, "Fourth Younger Cousin Sister, you’re still so naughty! Scaring Fifth Cousin Sister with this python? Even if the snake is harmless, what if you scare her and Sixth Cousin Sister to the point of harm, what then?"

All eyes were then cast onto Su Pan’er, their disagreent was overtly evident.

Su Xian’er’s anger was evident while pressing down the lump on her forehead, "Su Pan’er, you foolish idiot! It was a live snake and you purposely put it in the basket backpack. What was your motive?"

Su Pan’er glanced at her and sneered, "Humph! what’s this about a motive? It’s just a small insect. Look at how you’re overreacting! The snake was nicely placed in the basket backpack, did I let any of you touch it? You dare to cause trouble but don’t have the guts to take the responsibility. You’re as timid as a mouse but only know how to bla others, what do you think you are?"

"You...!"

Su Xian’er pointed at Su Pan’er while trembling, unable to speak.

"How could she dare to catch such a huge python? She’s not afraid to lose her life!"

"A fool is a fool, thinking that getting married would change things, but it turns out she’s just as stupid, it’s simply hopeless!"

"Isn’t it because she’s physically strong..."

The voices of the crowd beca louder and more confrontational, all of them aiming at Su Pan’er.
