"Oh my! Is Uncle Hu having a fit of Sheep Mad Disease? What can we do now?"

People imdiately started talking about it, pointing at Uncle Hu, who had collapsed on the ground and sparking a flurry of discussion.

Even more people rushed in from outside, as there was always an audience for public drama.

"I heard that people with Sheep Mad Disease may bite their own tongue... what can we do..."

"Quickly! Go and get a piece of cloth to stuff in his mouth so he can’t bite himself."

Su Pan’er, who stood nearby, was making frantic gestures: "Don’t just stand there, everyone needs to act! We have to tie both his hands and feet up, so he won’t injure anyone else."

Everyone was already in a state of shock and confusion, so upon hearing the order, they rushed to find so cloth and rope to tie Uncle Hu up quickly.

Uncle Hu tried to say sothing halfway through, but his mouth was promptly blocked by a quick thinking Su Pan’er.

"Hurry up and block his mouth so that he doesn’t bite his own tongue. If sothing happens to him in the Qin family, we won’t be able to explain ourselves even if we had a million words!"

You want to pretend to have Sheep Mad Disease?

I’ll let you play that part till the end!

Su Pan’er’s words made the crowd tie Uncle Hu up even tighter. They worked together and securely tied up Uncle Hu, bound by the Five Flowers.

It was at this mont that Uncle Hu realized he’d been had!

He wanted to shout, but his mouth was gagged!

He wanted to struggle, but he was bound by the Five Flowers.

Unable to shout, unable to struggle, his heart was in turmoil and his mind was in chaos!

He squird helplessly on the ground like a worm, his mouth emitting pitiful whimpers, which were interpreted by everyone as cries of pain.

Everyone was in a state of confusion, clearly not knowing what to do.

Su Pan’er cast a cold glance around and exclaid: "Uncle Hu seems to be in a lot of pain, what can we do? I heard that acupuncture on the Renzhong point is very effective. Does anyone have a gold needle? If not, a quilting needle will do!"

A quilting needle, also known as a safety pin, is a long needle used specifically by old farming ladies for making quilts. They are about an inch long!

Uncle Hu’s eyes widened as big as a bull’s!

He struggled desperately, emitting a pitiful cry from his throat. But due to the cloth stuffed in his mouth, the sound could only co out as a whimper.

Qin Yueshi, who was watching from the sidelines, was overjoyed: "We have it! I sewed a quilt a few days ago and have so leftover needles. I’ll go get them." She turned around and ran off after speaking.

Qin Yi, however, was more considerate. He hesitated before speaking to Su Pan’er in a low voice: "Uncle Hu did bring his dical box, which has silver needles in it. Pan’er, do you think... we should use them?"

Whether Uncle Hu really had Sheep Mad Disease or not, Qin Yi knew the truth as clearly as if he were looking in a mirror.

On one side was Uncle Hu who had hard him, and on the other was his wife. That was why he spoke hesitantly.

Su Pan’er swept a glance at him and under her sharp gaze, Qin Yi couldn’t help but lower his head.

"Since Uncle Hu has brought silver needles, this is the best solution. Quickly bring the silver needles, and pierce the Renzhong acupuncture point. Any delay could make things worse, hurry up!" urged Su Pan’er.

Qin Yu quickly ran back, soon returning with the silver needles. But who should actually do the procedure?

The crowd looked at each other, none of them having ever perford acupuncture. They were all afraid of taking responsibility and dared not do it casually.

The silver needle passed around between everyone, finally ending up back in Qin Yu’s hands.

Qin Yu looked at the silver needle in his hands, gulped hard several tis, and turned to Su Pan’er with a plea in his eyes, "Third brother’s wife, when you were talking about third brother’s illness, you seed genuinely knowledgeable about it. You must know how to insert the needle, right?"

Everyone cast curious eyes on Su Pan’er.

Especially Mrs. Qin-Li, her gaze contained a special degree of malice, "She knows how to treat illnesses and insert needles? Are you dreaming, eldest son?" Why was this never ntioned by the matchmaker?

"It’s true, Mother! Just now, the third brother’s wife did talk about third brother’s illness and she knew what she was talking about. You didn’t see it..."

Once Qin Yu started to talk, he never stopped, he vividly recounted all the past occurrences.

Mrs. Qin-Li still didn’t believe him, "Qin Yi, is everything that your eldest brother said true?"

"Mother, everything the eldest brother said is true! I saw it all with my own eyes!" Qin Yi nodded earnestly to confirm this.

Qin Yi’s confirmation made everyone present change their expressions, and their gaze towards Su Pan’er involuntarily beca sowhat scrutinising.

Upon hearing the murmuring of everyone, resembling the buzzing of countless bees, Su Pan’er humd coldly, and asked with an icy tone, "Are you sure you want to stick the needle?" Are they all so afraid of taking responsibility?

When faced with each other’s glances, no one spoke.

Qin Yu nodded solemnly, "Since this was third brother’s wife’s idea, let her do it. At least she knows what she’s doing."

"So, you really want to stick the needle? Let make it clear, I haven’t inserted a needle before..."

Su Pan’er didn’t refuse, she casually took the silver needle, weighed it in her hand. An ordinary silver needle, due to overuse and age, seed a bit blunt, but it could still be used.

She held the needle against Old Uncle Hu’s face, seeming to search for the acupuncture point. She seed hesitant, and didn’t imdiately insert the needle.

Old Uncle Hu couldn’t scream, he couldn’t struggle, and his silent prayers for help were unanswered.

He was anxious like ants on a hot pot. His body squird like worms, with large beads of sweat pouring down his forehead.

"Hey, I’m really going to do this now."

Su Pan’er emphasised repeatedly, moving the silver needle back and forth in front of Old Uncle Hu’s eyes, never piercing the skin!

Uncle Hu’s nerves were stretched to the breaking point, his eyes nearly bulged out of his head as he stared at the needle that could pierce his skin at any mont. Thick white sweat covered his body.

"What are you doing, you fool? Can you pierce it or not? If you’re supposed to do it, then do it! You’ve been procrastinating and you haven’t inserted anything yet, who are you trying to scare?"

Finally, Mrs. Qin-Chen had reached her limit and couldn’t help but speak up.

"I, I’m just trembling! If I slip and hit the nose or the eye or sothing, what will we do?"

While answering, Su Pan’er’s silver needle showed no signs of coming down, just swaying back and forth in front of Old Uncle Hu.

"Bah! You obviously don’t know how to insert the needle, but you’re pretending like you do, who are you trying to deceive!"

Mrs. Qin-Chen spat out furiously.

"Who said that? Who said I don’t know how to insert needles? Watch do it now!"

Su Pan’er pretended to be provoked, raised her hand high, aid towards Uncle Hu’s eye, and slowly brought it down...

"Mmmm..."

Old Uncle Hu struggled wildly for a mont, suddenly convulsed all over, his eyes rolled back into his head, and foam overflowed from the edges of the blocked cloth. He was scared into fainting by Su Pan’er...
