"They’re already passed out like that? La."

The little pig’s tail was wagging particularly gleefully: "Serves you right for conspiring against Pan’er. Now you’re getting your couppance!"

With that, it walked up to the two of them, lifted its hind leg, and sprayed them with urine, backing away smugly.

"If I catch you two doing anything naughty next ti, you’re in for more than just a little lesson!"

It then turned around and strutted off towards the depths of the ancestral hall.

Not far away stood another heavy door.

The piglet swiftly wriggled through the narrow gap.

In the middle of the room was the Buddha statue that had been set aside earlier. The little pig leapt onto it, pulling off the red cloth that was covering the statue and looked at the Buddha.

"Hehe! Master Trickster."

The Bama pig smiled greedily: "I’ve gone through such great lengths to see you! Shouldn’t you return the favor, or should I strip off all the golden things from you?"

"Ah...."

The Buddha Statue let out a drawn-out sigh: "Who knew at the brink of death, I’d see their descendants!"

"Whatever! Quit stalling, old man!"

The Bama pig’s eyes were gleaming with gold: "Either you give Grandfather Pi so benefits or...hehe!"

Its porcine eyes blinked, its mouth watering as it gazed at the golden Buddha statue.

"Indeed, they’re their descendants!"

The Buddha expressed a tone of helplessness: "Indeed, they all love golden things. If not for the failure of that task, giving this to you would do no harm. Since you’ve recognized , it must be fate. Let give you so goodies then!"

As soon as the Bama pig heard about the goodies, its adorable eyes widened: "Hehe! Those benefits better not be less than the things on you though, or else..."

"Hmph! You think what I offer could ever be insufficient?"

The Buddha statue seed a bit upset: "Grandfather Pi’s collectibles are all naturally exquisite."

"Hehe!"

The Bama pig was brimming with glee: "Exactly! You’re the only one in the heaven and earth so adept at accumulating wealth! Anything you give is a treasure! But rember, you’ve got to be generous! Otherwise, if I were to accidentally spill the beans, it could hurt your reputation!"

The Buddha statue fell silent, a ray of light erged, landing on the pig’s head.

It seed as if the little pig understood sothing, salivating all over the floor: "Hehe! So generous, really generous! I won’t bother you any more today, Grandfather Pi is leaving!"

With that, it leapt away, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

"Sigh! Go then! Hopefully, we will et again one day..."

The Buddha statue sighed, then fell silent.

The little pig looked back at the ancestral hall, its eyes rolling in consideration — should it give a bit of these things to Pan’er, just a bit?

Su Pan’er, who was chatting with Qin Yi, suddenly sneezed.

"Pan’er, did sothing scare you?" Qin Yi asked with concern.

"Do I really seem that fragile?"

Su Pan’er scoffed lightly: "I was wondering, how were you so sure earlier that I wasn’t a demon fairy?" You stood by without any doubt.

So that’s what was bothering you! Qin Yi appeared relieved.

"Guess!"

"I don’t know."

"Try guessing, I know you can figure it out."

"I can’t, and I don’t want to guess."

"Guess just this once! Behave Pan’er...."

"Behave what behave, you either say it or forget it!"

Su Pan’er glared, striding forward.

She had no mood for the guessing ga!

Even though she was reprimanding, her words lacked so of the force they had before.

Qin Yi naturally noticed this.

With a bright smile on his face, he caught up: "Fine, fine, no guessing! It’s okay to tell you. Actually, I’ve made up my mind a long ti ago! If you are a demon fairy, good, if not, it doesn’t matter. Regardless of whether we travel from heaven to the underworld, we, as husband and wife, will stick together. Through life and death, from the heavens to the earth, I will be with you."

His words were delivered lightly, as if weightless.

But to Su Pan’er, they sounded like a thunderbolt!

She whipped around to stare at him, directly t his clear black eyes. Those eyes were filled with seriousness and determination!

Qin Yi grinned, watching Su Pan’er in silence.

"Have you gone mad? Casually talking about life and death, who cares! I don’t want to die so soon, I still have a lot to do."

She glared at him several tis in a row.

"Am I stupid? Hehe, maybe! But for you, even if I have to be stupid again, what’s the harm?"

Qin Yi laughed at himself, took two steps forward, and walked side by side with Su Pan’er: "I, Qin Yi, have lived for nearly twenty years, always living according to my parents’ wishes. But now, I can act according to my own feelings. Even if it leads to death, at least I won’t have wasted my life. Isn’t that so?"

He suddenly turned his head, looked at Su Pan’er earnestly, and slowly reached out his hand.

Su Pan’er stood there, forgetting to move.

It wasn’t until he had her hand that she ca to her senses.

While instinctively wanting to break free, she suddenly stopped mid-action, letting him hold her hand, and studied him.

His slightly dry hand was holding her plump hand, it was so strange and yet so pleasing to the eye that the slight struggle in Su Pan’er’s heart gradually disappeared.

He was handso, even Su Pan’er who had seen countless handso n in her past life, could not help but praise!

His masculine facial features, the dark eyes sparkling with heat, the high-bridged nose below, the perfect lip shape slightly curved upwards, the whole person exuded an inexplicable joy from inside and out!

While Su Pan’er was scrutinizing him, he was looking at her too.

He wasn’t sure if he had simply got used to looking at her, but he thought Su Pan’er looked different now.

Her hefty figure seed to have slimd down a bit, her round face seed smaller, and even the potholes on her face seed to be filled with smiles.

Her vibrant and capable appearance attracted his gaze deeply.

Only one who has been ill for a long ti can understand, nothing is more important than having a healthy body!

Being stared at by Qin Yi with envious eyes made Su Pan’er’s flesh crawl.

She shook him off with a jerk.

"They say scholars are the most useless. Besides your eloquent speech, what else can you do?"

She wrapped her indifference around the ripples in her heart: "Also, I’ve told you many tis, I will definitely cure your disease completely. Do you still doubt my dical skills at this mont?"

After saying that, she walked faster.

"Pan’er, listen to ."

Qin Yi grabbed her arm, stared at her seriously: "I know, if it’s about physical strength, even two Qin Yi’s together wouldn’t be a match for you. But I firmly believe that with these hands, I can give you a warm ho and create a little world of our own."
