Konan stared coldly at the masked man before her, rainwater streaming down her face. She had already resolved to die. She planned to use the countless Explosive Tags she had prepared long ago to die together with Obito.
"You’re the one who needs to face reality, you demon!" Konan gritted her teeth.
Not far away, Obito stood calmly on the water’s surface. Though his face was hidden behind a mask, his silence radiated indifference. He showed no reaction to Konan’s words.
"Why did you have to betray ? You and Nagato once supported my Eye of the Moon Plan, but you broke the agreent and betrayed ."
"Betray you?" Konan let out a bitter, mocking laugh, "Soone like you who is born in darkness will never understand the preciousness of the flower of hope, and will never be able to create a perfect new world."
"The darkness lies in this world… in the Shinobi System, in those who profit from endless wars." Obito looked at Konan calmly and opened his arms, "A world like this holds no hope. It’s nothing but despair."
"It was you... It was you who dragged us into this! Yahiko didn’t have to die!" Konan’s voice trembled slightly, and rain seeped through her hair.
"That was Nagato’s fate. He carried sothing that was never ant to be his. He was destined to follow the script written for him." Obito said.
"Your so-called ‘fate’ is just empty words!" Konan’s chest heaved with fury, and her eyes were glaring at Obito like blades, as if she wanted to vent all the anger in her heart.
"Have you ever considered the endless suffering and tornt your ‘fate’ brought us? You never cared. Our pain was your doing!"
"I never did care. But it’s too late for this conversation now.” Obito replied coldly, "Since you betrayed , you’ve lost your worth."
"Tell where Nagato is. I don’t want to kill a forr subordinate. Just hand over the Rinnegan, and I’ll spare both your lives."
"I don’t know. The Rinnegan belongs to Nagato. I won’t let you take what’s his." Konan glanced at him coldly, "Those eyes are the treasure of the village, and also the foundation of Agakure’s protection."
"Did Uzumaki Naruto tell you all this? Or did you discover it on your own?" Obito tilted his head slightly, "Probably the forr. It seems that Uzumaki Naruto has convinced you."
"He only spoke the truth. That’s all there is to it." Konan said darkly, "Besides, compared to trusting you, I’d rather trust Naruto."

Realizing the danger, he frantically swam away as if his life depended on it, because it did.

In the distance, Sasuke and the other two were watching the battle.
"What’s taking Suigetsu so long? Did that idiot really drown?" Karin complained bluntly, "Did he turn into so stinky fish?"
"I can still sense Suigetsu's Chakra, he seems to be watching the fight." Jugo added.

The towering walls of paper stretched like an insurmountable chasm, defying human limits.

Obito managed to evade the explosions, but so Explosive Tags were still inevitably sucked into the Kamui Dinsion. Blood sprayed from his injuries before he vanished into the churning waves.
The huge consumption of Chakra almost drained all the reserves in Konan’s body. She collapsed onto the water’s surface, utterly exhausted.
Only a trace of Chakra remains in her body, maintaining her vital signs.
Just as she gasped for breath, Obito, who was missing an arm and a leg, quietly materialized behind her. Taking advantage of her weakness, he stabbed an iron rod into her heart.

He stretched out his hand, grabbed Konan’s neck, then lifted her up and crushed her throat. Konan’s vision blurred instantly, and her life force drained away.
"Just die alrea…"
Boom!!
A missile streaked through the air, detonating in a massive explosion that sent a towering water spout erupting from the sea. Obito was forced to retreat as the blinding flash engulfed the area.
"Let her go." Asura Pain descended onto the water’s surface.
"The Six Paths of Pain? Heh." Obito tossed Konan’s limp body aside, as if he was throwing away garbage, and his gaze instead locked onto Nagato’s location.
"You’re using that power again. Even if I do nothing, you won’t last much longer."
"I know. But before that, I will kill you!" The brand-new Deva Path flashed from a distance and landed not far from Nagato in an instant.
