The battle happened in an instant, with a loud explosion forcing the two apart.
"Sasuke!" Karin finally reacted and quickly rushed forward to support him. She rolled up her sleeves and was about to put her arm close to Sasuke's mouth, "You’re injured, bite ."
Sasuke coughed, pushed Karin's hand away, stood up and stared at the Yondai Raikage with a frown.
"Raikage?"
"Evil Uchiha?" Yondai Raikage showed no sign of backing down. If he had been calr, he might have noticed sothing off in Sasuke’s expression and tone.
But his eyesight wasn’t great, and he was still seething from earlier when Naruto spat on him. Now he was too angry to care, but just repeatedly called Sasuke ‘Evil Uchiha’.
Sasuke wasn’t one to explain himself… he was all about maintaining that cool, aloof persona.
"As expected of the Raikage." Sasuke spat out a mouthful of blood foam, his Mangekyo Sharingan spinning violently, "But that’s all there is to it."
With that, he rushed forward with his sword in hand, lightning crackling around it like a roaring dragon. In the blink of an eye, his sword slashed toward the Raikage.
"Stop spouting nonsense! Feel the wrath of my fist!" Yondai Raikage is also a rough man and can't say anything that can touch people's hearts.
He’s too straightforward for that.
Naruto, who was now observing from a high vantage point, had returned to his usual blond-haired appearance and was grinning as he watched the two clash without hesitation.
One was stubborn and cold, the other had a fiery temper.
"They’re really going all out… As expected of you, Sasuke." Naruto muttered as he watched Sasuke use his purple Gundam to hit Yondai Raikage. The sheer intensity of the battle made his heart race.
The half-bodied Susanoo stood over ten ters tall in its skeletal form, shrouded in thick purple Chakra. This is the first form of Susanoo, which can completely wrap the user’s body.
While the half-bodied Susanoo does significantly boosted Sasuke’s defense, it wasn’t without its weaknesses. First, it cannot defend against attacks from below, and second, Yondai Raikage's raw power was strong enough to break through the first stage of Susanoo.
But Sasuke didn’t care. With a loud bang, he barely managed to block the Raikage’s punch, though half of Susanoo’s skeletal fra shattered in the process.
Seizing the opportunity, the Kumogakure’s Anbu rushed forward to attack, only for Sasuke’s fully ford Susanoo to obliterate them with a single punch.
A sickening splat echoed through the battlefield as several of them were crushed like tomatoes, blood splattering in all directions.
"Damned Uchiha!" Raikage gritted his teeth again.
He hadn’t expected Sasuke to be so calculating.
He deliberately took a heavy hit to make his Susanoo look weakened, luring the Kumogakure’s Anbu into attacking. Then, in a sudden burst, he turned the tables and wiped them out.
Fortunately, Kumogakure’s Anbu were nurous, and the casualties were just a fraction of their forces. Otherwise, Yondai Raikage might have coughed up blood from sheer rage.
At the sa ti, Sasuke’s Susanoo underwent another transformation. The previously skeletal structure began growing muscle and flesh, and it now possessed weapons like bows and arrows.
Despite its massive size, this version of Susanoo moved with surprising agility. It wasn’t the sluggish giant one might expect.
The battle raged at the outskirts of Kumogakure, so it couldn't hurt Kumogakure’s roots.
Yondai Raikage, using blue Lightning Attribute Chakra to enhance his physical abilities, pushed his body to its absolute limits and charged straight toward the towering purple Susanoo.
Another violent clash erupted, and with a loud boom, the blue and purple Chakras surged skyward. The sheer intensity of their power nearly split the sky in two, locked in an even struggle.
After Yondai Raikage's many unsuccessful attempts, Naruto, who had been spectating for quite so ti, imdiately started to complain.
"Did Yondai Raikage forget to eat? He was so brave in chasing just now, but now he is like a weakling in this fight. Are his punches even doing anything to Sasuke? So useless!"
He was genuinely concerned for Yondai Raikage. After all, he was up against a younger generation like Sasuke, who had just turned 18.
If he could beat him, there would be nothing to be proud of, but if he couldn't, it would be utterly humiliating.
Although Sasuke is ridiculously overpowered, he is still a rookie and should not be able to defeat Yondai Raikage. Unless Yondai Raikage was holding back… or waiting for his right-hand n.
"Co on, man! Are you even trying, Raikage? Quit playing around with lightning tricks! Don’t you see that massive Uchiha right there? Go punch him already!"
"If you don’t beat him up and drop so loot, how am I supposed to free Yugito?"
"You’re still ssing around? Where’s your Biju? Where’s the village’s Biju? Did you all just forget over the past two years? Uchiha Sasuke kidnapped Yugito, dammit it!"
Naruto looked at the sluggish battle anxiously and kept muttering to himself.
"You better never co to Konoha, or I swear you won’t get off easy!"
By all logic, Sasuke should’ve been beaten down by now. But after landing one punch, Yondai Raikage seed to have gone into ‘reflect and observe’ mode, staying on the sidelines.
Suddenly, an earth-shaking explosion erupted and the ground trembled violently.
A pitch-black Bijudama shot toward Susanoo from the distance, carrying enough destructive force to level mountains. Sasuke wasn’t about to take it head-on, and he had Susanoo leap out of the way.
Boom!
The detonation sent shockwaves ripping through the land, uprooting a massive chunk of Kumogakure’s outskirts.
The aftermath resembled a disaster zone, leaving behind a deep trench over ten ters deep, stretching all the way to the village’s edge.
"B! Are you trying to destroy the village?" Yondai Raikage couldn't help but turned back and roared furiously. The mont the Bijudama appeared, lightning flashed all around him.
Yondai Raikage was surrounded by crackling blue lightning that was twice as powerful as before. At that mont, the speed of the Raikage was infinitely increased, and he shot towards Susanoo like a human missile.
At that mont, the speed of Yondai Raikage's movent was comparable to that of the Space-Ti Ninjutsu like Flying Thunder God Technique. In the blink of an eye, he appeared beside Susanoo, gathering Chakra all over his body as he charged Sasuke head-on.
"Lightning Release: Lariat!"
His attack smashed into Susanoo, shaking it violently. A gaping hole cracked open in Susanoo’s chest, exposing its massive ribcage.
"Die!" Yondai Raikage instantly burst through the opening like an arrow, piercing through Susanoo’s chest with unstoppable montum.
Yondai Raikage suddenly concentrated his Chakra on his elbow, raised it and slamd it towards Sasuke in the center. A direct hit from this would be enough to cripple him.
At that mont, Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan suddenly spun rapidly, and Susanoo shifted once more. Based on the second form, the purple Susanoo was now covered with armor, resembling Karasu Tengu.
Its outer shell beca even more fortified, while its internal structure grew denser. The purple Chakra solidified, almost tangible to the naked eye, blocking Yondai Raikage’s attack head-on.
With a loud bang, shockwave rippled through the air as Sasuke exerted force, hurling Yondai Raikage out of Susanoo’s chest cavity.
Naruto, who was watching from the side, suddenly felt that these people were all fools. They had many tricks but they didn't use them, just waiting for the perfect mont. They were cunning and sly.
But at this point, Sasuke had also taken significant damage. Although the third form of Susanoo looked badass, it drained an absurd amount of Chakra. In his current state, Sasuke couldn’t maintain it for long.
He did not have ti to attack the Kumogakure’s people, and directly deactivated Susanoo. This made Naruto, who was watching the battle, to suddenly brighten up, feeling the opportunity had arrived.
Roar!
Out of nowhere, a massive black lightning panther streaked across the battlefield, letting out an earth-shaking snarl as it lunged toward Sasuke.
This was the legendary Black Panther, which was once wielded by Sandai Raikage and later inherited by Darui.
The speed of the black panther was so fast that it left Sasuke with no choice but to swing his sword, summoning his own lightning. Blue lightning and black lightning clashed and the resulting explosion sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield.
In that split second, as the battlefield was engulfed in smoke and chaos, Naruto seized the mont and discreetly released Yugito, creating the illusion that Sasuke had no choice but to unleash Yugito as shields to save himself.
Roar!
The fully-ford Nibi descended upon the battlefield, unleashing a thunderous roar that shook the battlefield.
