Soon after
Tombs of Star Corridor, where Tengen lives in seclusion.
"Master Tengen, a master of barrier techniques, is not easily seen."
"His location is very well hidden, constantly shifting among a hundred doors."
"If you can't find the right one, you'll never et Master Tengen himself."
In the dim corridor, gumi walked ahead, patiently explaining to the group.
Yuji complained, "Huh?! Then how long is it going to take us to find him?"
"Master Tengen's residence is so hidden—why does it feel like he's avoiding sothing?"
Kazuma smiled inwardly.
Ever since the Star Plasma Vessel incident years ago, Tengen's assimilation plan had failed.
After so many years, Tengen is likely even closer to resembling a Cursed Spirit, making his situation extrely dangerous.
More importantly, in this state, Tengen is vulnerable to Kenjaku, who has Cursed Spirit Manipulation.
There is no doubt—Tengen is hiding from Kenjaku.
Yuta murmured, "Yuki-senpai... she should know sothing, but it's a sha we couldn't co with her."
As they wandered aimlessly...
A pale face suddenly erged from the darkness, making the group jump in fright.
"Whoa! Sothing creepy just popped up!"
Yuji instinctively took a fighting stance.
Choso sighed and said, "Hey, relax. It's ."
He walked up to Yuji, checking if he was injured. He never wanted to be separated from his brother.
Yuji let out a relieved sigh and grumbled, "Why would you co alone and show up in such a terrifying way!?"
To be fair, it wasn't his fault. In the previous battle against Naoya, Choso had suffered severe injuries and lost a lot of blood.
His face was still unnaturally pale from it.
A small bead of blood ford at his fingertip, and he spoke in a slightly proud tone, "I might be able to pinpoint Master Tengen's exact location."
Yuji and Yuta exchanged doubtful glances.
Could he really find Tengen?
Or was this just an excuse to stick close to Yuji?
Choso didn't seem offended by their skepticism and said, "I don't know Tengen's exact location, but my brothers are near him!"
"The Cursed Womb: Death Paintings are connected. The Blood Manipulation technique in my body allows to sense the location of their remains."
"Even though... they're just lifeless embryos now."
His voice grew somber.
Yuji hesitated for a mont before saying, "Thanks."
Though he had accepted their connection as brothers, it was still hard to fully empathize with Choso's pain.
"...This is what I should do as your brother."
Choso let the blood bead float in the air, and it quickly darted toward one of the doors.
"Follow the blood."
Soon, Kazuma and the others, guided by the floating blood bead, arrived at a secluded chamber.
Though small, the room had everything—a sofa, TV, and various appliances.
They also spotted two familiar faces.
Maki and Yuki!
However, Maki looked... different. Her once long, black hair had been cut into a clean, short style.
She had also removed the special glasses that let her see Cursed Spirits.
With her sharp features, she looked like a fierce general—strong and unshakable.
The mont she noticed Kazuma, her expression wavered slightly before she quickly turned away.
She still rembered—Kazuma had once told her she looked good with long hair.
Now, with her hair short...
"Tsk tsk, so Maki actually has a shy side~" Yuki teased with a knowing smirk.
Kazuma smiled awkwardly and said, "You look great in this style too, Maki."
Maki's shoulders tensed. With her back turned, her ears visibly reddened.
Kazuma sighed inwardly—he could already predict what was coming.
The Zenin Clan's downfall was near, and the next physical type Heavenly Restriction User was about to rise.
Yuki leaned back on the couch, smiling.
"I assu you guys are here for Master Tengen?"
She casually pressed a red switch beside her.
Boom!
The entire Tombs of Star Corridor trembled, and the ground beneath them shook.
The walls of the room began to shift, revealing a long, dark corridor.
Dim lights on either side barely illuminated the path ahead.
At the far end stood a massive iron door, carved with ancient symbols.
Yuki said, "Master Tengen is behind that gate. Even I haven't seen him before."
"I've waited a long ti for this. It better be worth the hype."
gumi tensed and said, "We don't have ti to waste."
"Tsumiki has been taken by Kenjaku... we need answers now!"
Everyone nodded.
The urgency in the air was undeniable.
"Wait a second." Yuki interrupted, glancing at Choso.
"Before we go in, I want to know—who is he? And where do his loyalties lie?"
Choso opened his mouth to respond, but Yuji spoke first.
"He's... my brother."
Yuji looked away as soon as he said it, avoiding Choso's gaze.
Choso's eyes widened. He clenched his fists, his body practically trembling with excitent.
That one word—brother—ant everything to him.
At this very mont, he felt like he could fight Sukuna one-on-one and still win.
Yuki grinned and said, "Well then... let's go."
With that, they pushed open the last door of Tombs of Star Corridor and stepped into the elevator leading underground.
As soon as they landed, sothing felt off.
"This place... shouldn't have many visitors." Soone murmured.
"Then why is the ground stained with blood?"
"Wait—look at the walls! There are signs of a fight!"
Everyone instinctively went on guard.
Sothing had happened here.
Sothing violent.
And whatever it was...
It wasn't over yet.
