"That will be a great help. I was actually about to request that myself," Mr. Vundo said.

"Very well. Quintus, Johan, this is the plan. I entrust my troops to you. Have the soldiers carry the magic stones and magic cannons."

Hearing General Gabrant’s orders, Lord Quintus and Commander Johan stood up.

"I will gather the knight order imdiately and have them prepare for battle."

Lord Quintus turned to Shiao Yi with a question.

"Shiao Yi, how many knights can you transport at one ti?"

"About thirty at once," Shiao Yi replied.

"I see. At first, we will also need to transport magicians, so let’s keep twenty on standby. After that, organize them in groups of thirty."

"We will lay down the teleportation magic circles in Solmaria Kingdom. Gather the magicians who can deploy the circles," Mr. Vundo said.

Mr. Vundo is quick thinking as always, he imdiately understood from this conversation.

If they needed to send a large number of knights to Solmaria Kingdom, using teleportation circles would be more efficient than Shiao Yi’s teleportation alone.

"Then I’ll bring as many magic cannons as possible from Aaron," Shiao Yi said.

As everyone moved toward their assigned tasks, a thought reached Shiao Yi from Dominic.

"The Aeon has appeared! The barrier has been broken!"

His body shivered violently.

He was probably as pale as a ghost.

The n who had been about to leave the room froze and stared at him.

"The Aeon has appeared! Let’s act imdiately!"

Shiao Yi relayed Dominic’s warning to those present.

Even though they had probably prepared for this, their faces all turned pale with tension and their bodies stiffened.

The king, Pri Minister Londonderry, Supre Commander Quintus, General Gabrant, Commander Johan, and Mr. Vundo all of them whose stood here is an extraordinary group of leaders.

Aaron was already working hard in the manufacturing workshop.

Shiao Yi’s body trembled and he panicked, he was unsure if he should rush to Dominic side imdiately.

Commander Johan patted his shoulder.

"Calm down, Shiao Yi. Right now, all we can do is do our best with what we have."

Commander Johan said calmly while looking at him with his pale green eyes.

His deep and resonant voice cald Shiao Yi who had been stirred up and panicked.

"Have you heard? Everyone, move quickly and get to work!"

The Pri Minister raised his voice and in response everyone began leaving the room.

"Do you understand the situation right now?"

Lord Quintus asked.

Shiao Yi explained what he had learned through Dominic.

"The Aeon has appeared. It’s huge. The Queen of Solmaria Kingdom is currently trying to hold it back with a barrier so it doesn’t spread. Dominic is cutting the tentacles as they reach out."

As he spoke, Shiao Yi’s anxiety grew.

One person alone couldn’t possibly handle a monster like that!

"I understand. We will send the knights imdiately. You can do it, Shiao Yi," Quintus said.

"But the opponent is the Aeon! No matter how many knights we send, they won’t stand a chance. It’s like sending them to their deaths!"

At Shiao Yi’s shout, Lord Quintus smirked while lifting one side of his cheek.

"Even against an opponent you cannot possibly beat, a knight stands courageously and faces it. Dominic is fighting alone, yes? Everyone will willingly follow Dominic. All we can do is use all our strength to do what we can."

"Yes," Shiao Yi replied.

The wild storm of emotion in Shiao Yi’s chest cald with Quintus’s words.

Commander Johan had said the sa thing. All a warrior can do is doing their best, nothing more, nothing less.

Shiao Yi realized that his worry for Dominic had made him lose himself.

That wouldn’t help Dominic, it could only hold him back.

He had to trust Dominic.

He had to do what he needed to do.

Lord Quintus patted Shiao Yi on the head and quickly walked away.

That was what a grown man was like.

Shiao Yi watched Quintus’s back and felt how much more he had to grow.

Then, he run toward Aaron.

...

Slash!

Dominic swung his sword that was wrapped in flas, cutting off the arm that the Aeon had extended.

When it hit the ground, it turned into a dark bluish liquid, staining the earth.

The Aeon reached through the barrier that Isolde was desperately holding, stretching its tentacles.

It was trying to attack the surface world that was full of abundant prey.

Isolde’s barrier was barely keeping it at bay, which showed just how strong her magic was.

However, she seed to be using all her strength just to maintain it.

Even with her imnse magical power, she could not possibly defeat the Aeon.

This was right after the Aeon had erged from the gate and was still sowhat contained, which was why the barrier could hold for now.

If it began to spread, there would be no way to stop it.

If the Aeon was going to be struck, now was the only chance while it was still concentrated in one place.

It must never be allowed to spread.

A soldier guarding Isolde cut off a tentacle that had been aiming for her.

But the fragnts of the Aeon cut by a normal sword did not turn into liquidz they continued to attack the soldier.

They wrapped around his left arm, wriggling and twisting.

"Uwaaaah!"

The soldier scread.

Dominic ran up and sliced off the arm.

The fragnt that fell with it turned into bluish-black liquid and much of the soldier’s half devoured arm lted away.

"Focus your magic into your swords! Any elent will do! If you don’t, we can’t defeat it!"

Three remaining guards ran to the soldier whose arm had been cut.

They nodded with pale faces.

After giving first aid to the wounded arm, they steeled themselves.

They draw their swords that has been wrapped in magic and charged at the thrashing the Aeon.

The overweight man in bright clothes seed fully occupied supporting Isolde and assisting with her magic.
