[In the Ti Before Man... The Serpent Gods existed.]
Instantly, Miroku was shown the most beautiful sight he had ever seen.
It was the ho of the Gods!
They all wore airy white pieces of fabric that hugged their bodies tightly.
There was food, music, laughter, and just sheer joy amongst them.
And just when Miroku was confused about what part of them seed snake-like, he saw the Gods and Goddesses all transform into Snakes that were as large as the entire sky!
The image of the serpent Gods next to a moon made his before body tremble in shock and awe.
Eh? Was the moon the sa size as the serpent's eyeballs?
Boom!
A wave of powerful energy emitted out the more he watched.
And subconsciously, he found himself backing away and cowering in fear.
Choking. Choking.
One of the serpent Gods, in particular, the one with Rainbow-coloured skin, looked at him dead in the eye, almost turning him into stone.
Cough. Cough. Cough. Cough~
Miroku choked in pain as the pressure alone made him feel like his entire insides were about to burst right open like an overcooked loaf of bread.
He gripped his neck hard as if trying to force himself to breathe after getting stressed by the strange Rainbow God, who was called Nibbana.
His beautiful snakeskin glistened and shone brighter than any piece of jewelry. And even after transforming, Miroku wouldn't help but be dazed by the handsoness of Nibbana.
At the sa ti, he was also curious about who this Nibbana was.
Who was he, and why was he getting a lot of vision/screen ti?

Miroku frowned, watching the ever-changing scenes while listening to the powerful voice in his ears.
[Day in, day out, the Serpent Gods and Goddesses celebrated nonstop. It was always a ti of festivity in Heavens.
And as jubilation continued years after years, decades after decade, centuries after centuries after millenniums after millenniums... The Serpent Gods and Goddesses finally got bored... And with boredom, ca troubles!]
Miroku suddenly felt ominous.
Then suddenly, the scene quickly changed to a terrifying image that made this face pale with horror.
F***! All this happened because they were bored?

[With the boredom of the Gods, Nibbana, the serpent Deity of Wisdom and chaos, soon proposed a fascinating thought to these restless deities.

The more he listened, the more he loathed that guy.
In essence, the reason why Nibbana proposed this ga was because he wanted to shake the faith of the humans in the other Gods.
You see... the Gods lived and fed off the worship of the humans.
So he wanted to diminish the faith humans had in the other Gods, thus, limiting the prayers and energy needed to keep them awake.
That's right. Nibbana planned to put them in a state of eternal rest!... At least until he found their 'Godheads' and destroyed them permanently.
Hahahhahahah!
Nibbana wanted to be the only God in existence and had long planned for the opportune mont to put his plans into action.

Like so, centuries and ages have passed since first proposed.
And as expected, this ga solved Gods’ need for fun and entertainnt.
They allowed Nibbana to transform the entire world into what it is today.
The world was broken into countless pieces and made to float way up into the s
No one knew how far high up the last floating island was, but so guessed that there should be thousands and thousands of land floating up there.
After all, the current place where Miroku landed only had a massive city in it.
So imagine if all cities and regions in the world broke apart like this and were stacked up in this manner?
Several people didn't know what to make of this new world.
But for Miroku, he felt like it should be similar to how the Lower Realm, Ordinary realm, and Upper realms were all one step higher than another.
The only difference was that back in the lower realm, one had ascended if one wanted to get to the next domain.
But in this place, it seed like they would have to go through several deadly trials if they wanted to advance upwards.
Well, in this world, the height level they seem to be at was the lowest starting point for any of the following lands here.
That's right. On the very bottom, way below the clouds, always nothing else but Lava... Hot boiling lava would kill anyone who got pushed down from above. And if the height drop or the actual lava alone didn't kill them, then the Giant lava Serpents would.

Another interesting thing about this world was that all floating land masses at the sa height were accessible to the people via teleportation.
Also, those at height levels can visit lower-level regions with no problem.
But if one wanted to go higher than they were stationed, they would have to go through the trials.

You say that if you were the one, you would give up and sit still?
Every day, every month, every year... the lava levels below rise up like a typhoon.
And if one doesn't advance, they would have no choice but to die sooner or later.
And as of now, several floating islands had long been destroyed and engulfed by the lava when their ti was up.
So the faster one advanced, the better for them.
But that said, how does this all tie up with Nibbana's sche?
Heh. Over the years, the guy had been secretly whispering to the humans, making them bla the deities they had once worshiped... Especially after so had lost their beloved ones to the lava monsters below.
With ti, the humans had less and less faith in the Deities they used to worship passionately. And before the other deities realized Nibbana's true face, it was too late.
Their powers were weak, and they fell into a deep slumber.
Thus began Nibbana's Godly era!
