Alan scratched his head for quite a while, trying to make sense of the situation. In the end, he couldn't figure it out at all. Left with no other choice, he simply blurted out what was in his heart.

"Senior, with all due respect, I really don't think I did anything wrong in this matter. The whole thing started because Eisen from Lioncrest Academy kidnapped my little sister and threatened her life. As her blood brother, how could I just stand by and do nothing? If I hadn't gone to save her, I'd have no right to keep living!"

"And more than that, I didn't even want to start a fight in the beginning. I gave them a chance—if they had just returned Isabella unhard, I would've let the whole thing go like nothing had happened. But what did they do instead? They resisted with everything they had. Worse yet, they even colluded with bounty hunters from enemy nations to deceive , humiliate , and even try to kill !"

"I was only trying to survive—trying to protect my companions from being dragged into this ss. If it ca down to it, I was ready to fight them to the death! I just want to live. How does that make the one in the wrong?"

The fla-haired woman nodded with satisfaction, then asked Alan again, "But what if, in the future, your enemies are all as strong as the ones today, and you have no way to fight back? What then?"

Alan thought for a mont before replying, "Then even if it costs my life, I'll drag a few of them to hell with ! I can accept dying in battle, loud and proud—but I'll never accept living like a coward!"

"Good! That's the kind of spirit I like!"

The fla-haired woman gave his shoulder a firm slap and said, "You're finally in the right mindset. Now quick, take out your Lun Sancta and try to sense the energies I just showed you. They're spiritual in nature. Let your soul's fla blaze even brighter!"

Upon hearing her words, Alan imdiately held his breath, focused his mind, and poured all his effort into grasping that elusive, invisible force—the mysterious energy she spoke of.

Gradually, faint white flas began to ignite in Alan's eyes. These flas gave off no heat at all, yet their destructive power was in no way inferior to that of blazing high-temperature fire.

"That's odd. Why is it appearing in the eyes?"

The fla-haired woman rested her chin on her hand, watching Alan with curious eyes.

Just then, from the spatial rift that the armored man had previously torn open, another figure slowly began to materialize.

The armored man's face lit up with joy, and he began to shout for help with all his might.

He was sure the fla-haired woman wouldn't be able to react in ti—after all, the figure arriving now was soone whose power surpassed even the Legendary tier: an extraordinary mage beyond imagination.

The figure hovered in the center of the spatial tear, yet did not fully erge. From afar, he directed a question at the fla-haired woman.

"You... who exactly are you? I've never heard of soone like you existing within this tiny little Plantagenet Kingdom."

The fla-haired woman waved her hand dismissively, clearly annoyed.

"If you're here to fight, then fight. Why waste ti yapping?"

Then she glanced down at the armored man whose arms she had already crippled and sneered.

"Seeing how excited this mutt got, I guess you must be the so-called strongest mage from that little empire of yours, huh?"

"Don't try to change the subject," the figure growled, his voice dropping in anger. "I'm the one asking the questions here! Who are you? Where are you from? And why did you kill several of our NK Kingdom's Legendary mages?!"

"You talk too much. God, I hate chatterboxes like you. Let's skip to the fun part—watch the sword!"

In the blink of an eye, before anyone could even register what had happened, the fla-haired woman hurled her crimson longsword straight toward the spatial rift with a speed that defied reason.

The shadowed figure flinched in surprise, hurriedly raising his mana shield to defend against the sudden strike.

Nine layers of magical barriers unfurled around him, blooming like flower petals. Just looking at them gave the impression of impenetrable defense—tough, indestructible, unyielding.

But no one expected what happened next.

The instant the crimson longsword touched the mana shield, it passed through as though there was nothing there. Layer after layer, it pierced straight through the man's defenses.

Those supposedly indestructible shields crumbled like thin paper.

The figure's expression turned to horror. In all his years, he had never witnessed such a brutally overwhelming attack. Realizing that defense was futile, he changed tactics—redirecting his mana to manipulate the gravitational field around himself, hoping to deflect the incoming strike.

RUMBLE—

The entire monastery began to shake violently. The gravitational field he conjured was vast in scope, and its potency far exceeded anything old Gayle had ever managed.

To paint a picture: if mana were iron, then Gayle was using an ordinary magnet to shift it—this new figure, however, was wielding a neodymium magnet of imnse force.

Sure enough, the mont the field unfolded, space itself began to distort. Alan could vaguely see large areas of warping and bending inside the rift.

This wasn't just mana altering reality—it was direct control over reality itself, forcing it to comply with the caster's will.

"A gravitational field, huh? Now this is getting interesting," the fla-haired woman said, eyes narrowing. "Haven't seen soone use that trick in years. If your opponent today had been a regular King Magus, you might've won with that move. But... I'm not them!"

With a fierce shout, her crimson sword, though no longer in her hand, blazed even more brilliantly than before, erupting in radiant red light.

And then, before everyone's astonished eyes, the already-twisting spatial rift was sliced completely in two by that brilliant crimson blade.

It was a strike powerful enough to tear space itself apart!

The figure inside the rift panicked and leapt out, narrowly avoiding being caught in the collapse.

It was only then that Alan finally got a clear look at the man's appearance.

He was a burly, pitch-black-skinned man with a square face and a bald head, his muscular fra bulging with veins and tension. Judging by his physique, he looked more like a warrior than a mage—more like a knight who trained his body day and night.

But it was well known that mages who pushed their mana cultivation to the extre often mastered various forms of stasis magic. Most of the ti, they appeared in their peak condition, unless their mana reserves were completely depleted. Otherwise, signs of age were rarely visible.

Right now, however, this dark-skinned man looked utterly disheveled, sweat beading on his forehead. He stared at the fla-haired woman as though she were a ghost, his face filled with dread and disbelief.

The woman casually summoned her crimson longsword back into her hand, then stepped forward, pointing the tip directly at him with a look of utter disdain.

"You were asking just now—why did I kill those Legendary mages from your empire?"

With that, she suddenly slamd the sword into the ground, the tip landing less than an inch from the man's foot.

"Here's your official answer: I did it because I felt like it. I kill whoever I want, whenever I want!"

"Don't tell I need your permission first? Who the hell do you think you are?!"

And with that, as if venting her annoyance, the fla-haired woman unleashed another crimson slash toward the armored man lying on the ground.

The poor soul didn't even have ti to react before the crimson light severed him in half.

His upper and lower body split cleanly, and an explosion of red, white, pink, and green viscous matter splattered across the ground, a sickening sight that made even the bravest hearts race.
