Catherine could probably guess what Noah was thinking and quickly said, "Noah, you should leave. You’re no longer the privileged King; this is the Lan family’s territory. If they catch you, you’ll be in big trouble."
Noah looked up at Catherine and asked, "Catherine, will you co with ?"
Catherine sighed and said indifferently, "It’s too late, I no longer love you. But I don’t want to see you get hurt, so hurry up and leave."
Yang Gang also said, "Noah, if you truly care for Catherine, don’t put her in a difficult position."
Noah let out a deep sigh, "I understand."
With the cover provided by Yang Gang and the others, Noah successfully escaped from the church.
"Yang Gang, what exactly did Noah tell you?" Catherine asked quietly, seizing an unobserved mont.
Yang Gang smiled, "Well, he thought you were getting married because you were pregnant, and that the baby was mine. He wanted
to marry you."
"How could that be? We checked in Xilan and it was chronic gastritis," Catherine said, musing for a mont before suddenly asking, "If, I an if, I was really pregnant, what would you do?"
Yang Gang thought for a mont before saying, "I hope you would have the child. Even though I can’t give you the title of a wife, I would protect you and the child as if I were protecting a wife."
After speaking, Yang Gang scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed, "You have every right to curse ; I am indeed sowhat selfish. Since I can’t give you the title, I’m not worthy of having you bear a child for ."
Catherine stroked her forelock with a faint smile, "That’s enough for ."
"Hm? What did you say?" asked Yang Gang, as Catherine’s voice was too low and he didn’t catch it.
Catherine shook her head, "It’s nothing. Go on, I still have to finish my makeup."
Yang Gang nodded and left.
And then, at noon, the ti which was supposed to be for the wedding, the bride was nowhere to be found.
