Chapter 239: Chapter 242 Sketch_1

"The person that left the deepest impression on this girl must be one of my family mbers. But looking at her expression, it seems like it’s not. Hmm..."

Noticing Yang Gang’s gaze, Yang Fei turned her head, a hint of guilt flashing across her face.

Yang Gang felt depressed. Why did she have to put on this guilty expression as if she had had an affair?

"Hey, Feifei, are you thinking about your first love?" Yang Gang asked.

Yang Fei glared at Yang Gang: "None of your business!"

"Damn, Feifei, you really had a first love. I suddenly feel like I’m being cuckolded," Yang Gang murmured.

Yang Fei’s face turned red with anger. "Yang Gang, are you looking for a fight?!"

Yang Gang grinned, released his thoughts, and shifted his attention back to the drawing board before him.

...

After the art class, He i returned to her office with the anonymous drawings from her students and began to flip through them one by one.

"Hmm, these students’ portraits are not bad." He i praised as she flipped through the drawings, when suddenly, she paused.

Among the nurous sketches of people, there was a ticulously painted piano.

"Who the devil drew this? We clearly said to draw portraits, but soone drew a piano," He i shook her head, disappointed with the disobedient student.

...

Yang Gang only had one elective art class in the morning.

After finishing his art class, Yang Gang headed directly to the headquarters of Yang Group. He had an important board eting to attend.

After Yang Lin delegated full authority to Yang Gang, Yang Gang had effectively beco the acting chairman of Yang Group.

The headquarters of Yang Group was in a standalone fifteen-story building.

When Yang Gang arrived at the main building, Li Kun was already waiting there.

"Let’s go up." Yang Gang said nonchalantly.

Li Kun nodded.

The two then went straight to the eting room on the top floor.

"Wait outside for a bit," Yang Gang said before pushing open the door to the eting room and walking in.

The eting room was nearly full, with only the chairman and CEO’s seats vacant.

The board of directors of Yang Group consisted of eight mbers in total, five of whom were executive directors with voting rights, and three were non-executive directors without voting rights.

Yang Gang took his seat at the chairman’s desk, looked at the directors, and said lightly, "This special board eting is mainly for nominating the new CEO. After Zhao Wei disappeared, the position of CEO has been vacant, which is not conducive to the developnt of the group."

"Young Master Yang, I have a candidate," said a middle-aged man with a mole on his forehead. "His na is Ge Ming, the forr president of Nokia in the Great China Area. He is highly experienced and capable, making him an excellent CEO candidate. I have discussed it with him, and he’s interested in joining our group."

The other directors did not say a word, seemingly supporting the nomination.

Yang Gang, with one leg crossed over the other, said nonchalantly, "Rejected."

"Why?" The nominating director asked in surprise.

To be honest, the directors of the group did not take Yang Gang seriously at all. A young whippersnapper being the acting chairman was disrespectful. Even if the Crown Prince was to succeed Yang Lin, so what? Even if Yang Lin was still around, he had to act according to the directors’ wishes. Couldn’t they manipulate a re child from the palm of their hands?

But unexpectedly, Yang Gang decisively rejected the directors’ joint nomination.

Yang Gang looked at the director who had made the suggestion, and said lightly, "There are two reasons: first, the guy’s na is not suitable. Ge Ming, revolution; two words that are very hard to distinguish. This is a taboo in our harmonious society, if soone with an agenda brings up the topic, it could cause a lot of trouble. Second, as the president of Nokia in the Great China Area, Ge Ming has experience, but you all know the performance of Nokia in recent years. They used to be the number one in the mobile industry in the Great China Area, now they can’t even break into the top ten. As a CEO who delivered such results, I dare not use him."

The nominating director was at a loss for words and sat back in irritation.

"Does Young Master Yang have an appropriate candidate?" Another director asked.

Yang Gang pressed a button on the desk and said, "General Manager Li, you may co in now."

Li Kun imdiately entered the room and ca to Yang Gang’s side.

"This is the candidate I propose for the position of CEO, Mr. Li Kun, Ph.D. in economics from Harvard. Mr. Li Kun is a friend of Francis, the manager of a fund under the Renault Investnt Group. This fund mainly handles affairs in Huaxia as well as other parts of Asia. After Mr. Li Kun’s contact, this fund has shown interest in investing in Yang Group."

Yang Gang’s introduction seed casual, but it was detailed and highlighted the key points. Firstly, he emphasized Li Kun’s qualifications, then his connections.

The directors looked at Li Kun, whispering to each other.

A mont later, another director stood up and asked, "Young Master Yang, where was Mr. Li Kun previously appointed?"

"He was doing business research in college," Yang Gang said lightly.

"Ah, he hasn’t previously held a position in a company, this is..." A director began to question.

Yang Gang’s cold gaze swept across the room, causing the temperature to drop significantly.

Most of the directors were shocked. They had heard that the young master’s temperant had drastically changed after his car accident, but they didn’t think it would be this dramatic.

The young master now was completely different from the young master before!

If not for his appearance, height, and voice being almost identical, they would all suspect that the young master had been replaced by an imposter.

"Young Master, although our shares are not as much as the Yang family’s, we are also shareholders of the group and have the right to express our opinions. For the benefit of the group, we still need to confirm Mr. Li Kun’s ability," said a director, gathering up his courage.

"Hmm... how would you like to do it?" Yang Gang asked nonchalantly.

The directors whispered to each other before a representative stood up and said, "Our group has a backlog of expired sanitary napkins in the warehouse. If Mr. Li Kun can sell these sanitary napkins within a week, we will acknowledge his ability and agree to him taking up the position of the group’s CEO."

Yang Gang’s mouth twitched. Expired sanitary napkins...

Although he wasn’t a woman, he was no stranger to sanitary napkins. In fact, he knew them quite well. He had bought them for Su Xiaoxi countless tis...

It’s painful to look back on the past.

He refocused his thoughts.

The production of sanitary napkins involves a high-temperature sterilization process. However, not all sterilization thods have limited duration, hence the expiry dates of sanitary napkins. Most sanitary napkins have a shelf life of 3 years. Even qualified products can beco a breeding ground for bacteria once expired.

Won would be very sensitive to these intimate personal items. If the sanitary napkins were expired, they would not buy them.

These cunning directors really knew how to propose difficult tasks.
