He couldn’t even feel at ease about her exercising, so he ca up to take a look himself. Clearly, he was such an esteed and lofty man, yet he was willing to invest his thoughts in a young girl.
It really makes one quite envious.
It would be great if she could also have a man willing to make such sacrifices for her soday.
The man stayed for only two minutes before quietly leaving.
Jin Ya watched him depart, then pressed the pause button on the treadmill.
Sweat soaked the high-elastic pink form-fitting clothes along the graceful lines of the girl’s shoulder and neck. Perhaps it was due to her innate dancer’s aura; such sweating instead accentuated her pure and charming allure at her age.
It made people want to tarnish her.
She smiled and said, "The gentleman was just here."
Su Lingzhi, holding onto the handrail, instinctively looked back but found no trace of him.
Perhaps she was too tired; she misheard, thinking it was Lili who ca.
"The gentleman said that since you had a car accident before and look so exhausted now, we won’t do strength training today."
Su Lingzhi nodded, "Okay."
Afterward, Jin Ya guided her through two simple workouts and then concluded today’s exercise session.
After changing her clothes, Jin Ya did not see any trace of Mr. Fu downstairs.
She did not linger and left the place.
As a personal trainer, she naturally knew where the boundaries lay between her and her employer. No matter how excellent and perfect the man was, he was not soone an ordinary person like her could covet.
The next day’s exercise routine was the sa.
After washing up, Su Lingzhi changed into a slightly more formal outfit. Just as she exited the walk-in closet, she ran into Fu Yinli.
His gaze swept over the blouse she was wearing, "Dressed up so nicely for your first day on the job."
"I didn’t even put on makeup, where is the dressing up?"
Her naturally beautiful face, brimming with color post-exercise, was radiant without needing any embellishnt.
The girl threw herself into his arms, giving him a long kiss without lingering any longer, "Ti is running out, I should go to work."
"Take your breakfast."
"Alright."
The Lindxu standalone building isn’t situated in a bustling city area. The lush, tree-lined avenues nearby lend a tranquil ambiance to the environnt, except it’s too far from Jing Garden—almost a two-hour drive, so she got up particularly early today.
For this reason, Fu Yinli arranged a driver specifically for her, to take her to and from work every day.
After bidding the driver goodbye when getting out of the car, Su Lingzhi entered the building in front of her.
The receptionist, upon seeing her, greeted her warmly, "Are you Designer Miss Su?"
Su Lingzhi nodded.
Perhaps because they had been inford about her from above, the mont she made eye contact, the receptionist imdiately recognized her.
"Miss Su, let take you to see President Pei first."
"Alright."
She took the elevator directly to the tenth floor, to the chairman’s office.
Inside, the room was brightly lit as if it were dayti. The man was sitting at the spacious desk processing docunts. Noticing soone knocking and entering, he paused his writing, and his gaze, upon eting hers, exuded warmth.
"President Pei, Miss Su is here."
Pei Xu responded, "Alright, you can go back to work now."
His voice carried no pressure, with a particularly gentle tone that matched well with his refined aura.
From what she knew, Lindxu had only been established for a few years and was a particularly young brand.
The President Pei in front of her was only a few years older, having built the company to a mid-industry level at such a young age, it was comndable.
Su Lingzhi walked over to him, "President Pei."
"Please, have a seat."
Su Lingzhi pulled over a chair nearby, sitting across from him.
The man, clean and fresh in a white shirt, his jade-like hands moved a docunt in front of her.
"How far is your ho from the company?" His voice was as soft as the first snowfall, calm and gentle.
Su Lingzhi replied, "It’s a two-hour journey."
"That’s a bit far. I’ll have the HR departnt assign you an apartnt later."
Su Lingzhi smiled softly, "Is the company’s welfare that good?"
"We generally provide apartnts for doctorate holders or special positions." Pei Xu got back to the main point, "About the contract we sent earlier, since you have no objections, we take it as your agreent. Today I’ve had the secretary print it out for you to see if there’s anything inappropriate, then sign it."
Then he placed the ink pad and tissues in front of her.
Su Lingzhi looked over the docunt, skimming it swiftly from start to end. Confirming there were no issues, she signed and pressed her fingerprint.
Subsequently, Pei Xu stamped it, completing the formal contract process in duplicate.
"Welco to Lindxu."
Su Lingzhi t his gaze.
In those clear eyes was a clean, bright smile, like fresh stream water, yet it gave her a slight sense of disorientation, which she couldn’t quite describe.
"What’s the matter?" Pei Xu asked.
Su Lingzhi quickly returned to her senses, revealing a light smile, "The boss is too approachable, it’s a bit hard to get used to."
"Isn’t Rika approachable?"
"Um..." This caught her off guard, after a mont, she replied, "It’s different."
"How is it different?"
Su Lingzhi awkwardly replied, "It’s just different."
Pei Xu did not press further, "Alright, I’ll have Secretary Yao take you to et your colleagues and get acquainted with the company environnt."
"Okay."
Then he made a phone call.
Soon after, Secretary Yao, whom he ntioned, knocked and entered. She was a girl around the sa age as Lingzhi, youthful yet elegant.
Without Pei Xu needing to say much, he only ntioned to "familiarize Lingzhi with the company," and Secretary Yao imdiately understood his aning, taking Su Lingzhi out of the office arm in arm.
While waiting for the elevator, Secretary Yao, in a sweet and delicate voice, amiably said, "I’m not sure how familiar you are with Lindxu. Our company’s previous strategy focused on materials over design. Now, the personnel structure of the materials design departnt is very stable. You’ll often communicate with the design director of that departnt going forward, which is our President Pei."
"President Pei manages materials design too?"
"Yes, our company is very young. Except for the factory departnt, the employees are either returning from overseas or hold at least a master’s degree. But speaking of young, you should be the youngest in this building. President Pei feared you wouldn’t be able to handle it, so he specially hired an eloquent assistant for you."
The four words ’eloquent assistant’ were spoken with particular aning.
Su Lingzhi was montarily speechless.
Now that she’s appointed as the creative director, the future brand image is entirely under her control, making her position quite stressful.
While in the elevator, Secretary Yao comforted, "But don’t worry, with President Pei backing you, no one will make things hard for you; after all, you are the talent he handpicked from nurous designers."
