Miri's hands were covered with scars.

It was a nice two-story house near the lord's castle.

Miri had never seen a house like this at least not one she had free reign of, the house she had been living in was an abandoned hut that could collapse at any ti.

She lay down on the bed and scread in surprise when she saw the kitchen.

As Zeff approached, Miri laid her forehead against his chest.
"Zeff...I'm so happy. Can I really believe all this?"
"Yeah. He's not the kind of guy who talks nonsense like the other nobles."
