Days passed and while it only amounted to a week of training and boredom the tension mounted as the coast was spotted finally.

The fleet housing the 11,000 soldiers and thousands more Sailors.

In the distance figures could be sighted scurrying about, no doubt these were the native spartan inhabitants who feared the incoming fleet to be from their adversary.

The beaches they’d selected for their landing were clear and so as the ships with montum rode up with the tide coming to a stop the n began to cast ropes over the sides of their ships and descend down onto the sandy footing below them.

As the unloading proceeded the minutes passed until they beca hours.

As the stores were dropped from the ships into the waiting hands of the n, while the emptied ships retreated and anchored a bit further out to sea while other ships as well made landfall.

From the dirt path leading down from the hills to the beach a contingent of ard n with shields and spears appeared.

Their stark crimson cloaks clearly identifying their national identy as Spartans.

Julius’s own n upon sighting the possibly hostile force quickly got into formation ready to repell the force if nessessary.

Julius anwhile strode forth ahead of his army towards the group.

From his viewing the Contingent was only 50 n, not enough to compete with his army, and honestly not even himself.

So without worry he marched forwards to greet those who’d co out to et them.

As he showed no hostile intent the other side likewise raised their spears as the leader among them broke ranks and advanced to speak 1-1 with Julius.

"What are you doing here?"

"We heard their was the chance to kill Athenians, so we ca to quench our blades."

"Oh? If so why land on our shores rather than theirs?"

"We are only the first army, the others will be landing shortly along with other forces coming by land"

"Hmm... Well can’t deny anyone who wants to take out so of those gutless athenians and their boy-loving allies."

Offering up his hand Julius and the man perford the spartan handshake which had each gripping the others forarm and giving it a squeeze.

Similar in a sense to a regular handshake however rather than trying to crush the opposites hands you’d show even greater strength by trying to break they arm.

Both n only locked arms for a second, and while Julius felt so pressure on his arm the Spartan opposite him’s face montarily twisted in aggony.

Silently Julius had summond his perk blade granting him a 30 power level.

While not fully deploying his strength he still managed to crack the Spartan commanders forearm a little causing him to wince in pain.

As the two let go smiles broke out on both’s faces, and the real conversations could beging.

"Where did you all co from?"

"Well nas Julius we co from where Lunan, and Bridget used to be, now it’s simply just the Kingdom of Romanus"

"So weak ole Lunan finally fell, surprising that Bridget did as well but good on yeah for taking both em down, nas Vasso captain of the sea defense in this area."

"We’ll we can only take credit for half of Lunan, as Visigoth took the other half, but Bridget was taken only with a small army so we can’t exactly complain."

The pair carried on the talks which predictably center mostly around military matters and those pertaining to combat.

The other Spartans had since lowered their guards and begun to likewise converse with the new cors.

Julius had passed along a missive during the journey on the ways of the Spartans and that they were muscle brains.

Talking your way out of sothing was a sign of weakness if you were challenged, stand your ground and never give up till soone else says it is over.

As for Serena she was not allowed to disembark much to the Queen’s chagrin but after it was explained to her she relented.

Yuri anwhile was excited possibly hundreds of new sparring partners would readily challenge her for the right to make her their woman even if she was perceived to already be Julius’s though they’d yet to formally marry which made her available for capture by a stronger man.

The 50 all completed the handshake many being surprised at the strength of the new cors and while the offloading of supplies and goods still took place a few practice fights took places here or there in sandy arena’s

This greatly impressed Vasso as the newcors clearly believed similar to Sparta, even their Woman, as the Commanders own woman Yuri stood undefeated even after all 50 had challenged her, she even went as far as to sha a few taking their challenge of 3-1 in that the reward would the 3 would bed her rather than get to have her as their woman.

Rossade sliced through the air and within mont the three n were flat on their backs staring up at the calm blue sky wondering what had happened after the referee had called start to the match.

Due to the number of supplies they’d brought it took all day to finally finish landing proceedures, and when it was over the fleet set sail.

Not back for ho but instead to comnce raiding operations against the alliance and alliance rchants.

Julius and his n anwhile split into two groups, one began the construction of a fort to act as their present base of operations while Julius as the other group would follow Vasso and his n into the City of Sparta to have a eting with the Kings if they are to be present or his regent if they are not.
