688. Forbidden Tower
"Alright! Doomsday Supre, I agree to join you in venturing into the Forbidden Tower," Lin Fei consented to the Doomsday Supre's proposal.
The Forbidden Tower intrigued Lin Fei, not least because of the two Behemoth Kings dwelling within it. Their allure was undeniable. If he succeeded in assimilating them, how far might his Eternal Realm advance?
Perhaps it could reach 100%—a complete transformation. Even if he couldn't assimilate them, Lin Fei wouldn't be in danger.
Moreover, if he didn't assimilate them, he could still attempt to conquer the ninth level and transform his body to see if he could beco a chaos entity. Regardless of the outco, there seed to be benefits in all scenarios. If it proved fruitless, Lin Fei could simply retreat. As long as it didn't kill him, there was no loss for him.
"Good, Supre Lin, with your assistance, I am certain we can conquer the ninth level of the Forbidden Tower and accomplish the transformation of my body!"
The Doomsday Supre was delighted. Lin Fei's agreent was an unexpected joy. In truth, although this visit was for Lin Fei, the Doomsday Supre did not hold much hope. Over his many years traversing the chaos, he had encountered many exceptionally talented Supres.
Yet, none had achieved the status of an Invincible Supre like he had. Initially, he too thought Lin Fei might rely be a top-tier Supre, perhaps reliant on special techniques or unique treasures to defeat other top-tier Supres.
However, after visiting and battling with Lin Fei, the Doomsday Supre realized the truth. The rumors were not just empty talk; in fact, they were understated. Lin Fei was not just close to being an Invincible Supre—he truly was one!
The Doomsday Supre could not best him, which was an unexpected but welco surprise. Having found Lin Fei, the Doomsday Supre no longer needed to search elsewhere for another Invincible Supre.
"Supre Lin, please think it over! The Forbidden Tower is genuinely perilous," the Clairvoyant Supre continued to caution Lin Fei.
Lin Fei nodded and responded, "No worries, if anything seems amiss, I will simply leave. Apart from the Masters of Chaos, I do not believe any force can pose a threat to ." This was Lin Fei's confidence—his belief in his own strength and abilities.
Doomsday Supre reassured Lin Fei with a smile, "Supre Lin, rest assured. The Forbidden Tower is indeed dangerous, but if I can venture to the ninth level, you certainly have no reason to worry."
"When shall we depart?" he inquired.
Lin Fei replied without hesitation, "There's no ti like the present. Let's set off now."
Together, Lin Fei and the Doomsday Supre transford into a streak of light and vanished into the depths of the chaos. Watching their departing figures, the Clairvoyant Supre shook his head and sighed deeply, "Invincible Supres! Even they are striving to beco Masters of Chaos. What reservations should I have?"
The Clairvoyant Supre seed to have made up his mind. He had been studying the chaos bead, harboring so hesitations. But now, he was resolved, with no more doubts lingering in his mind.
...
The Forbidden Tower stood imposingly in the chaotic void, its origins unknown, yet many were aware of its complexity. Once, a Master of Chaos tried to force his way into the Forbidden Tower but was repelled right at the first level, even sustaining serious injuries.
If the Master of Chaos had not swiftly retreated, he might have perished. The re fact that the tower could challenge a Master of Chaos spoke volus about the power of its creator, surely a being greater than any Master of Chaos.
At this mont, many Supres were attempting to enter the Forbidden Tower. Each passage through the tower offered certain rewards, sotis even rare treasures, which is why many Supres were drawn to challenge it.
Moreover, the internal space of the Forbidden Tower was vast, capable of accommodating nurous challengers without issue. The only problem was the inherent danger of the tower; those lacking sufficient strength might perish.
"Whoosh, whoosh."
Soon, two figures approached the vicinity of the Forbidden Tower.
"We've arrived! This is the Forbidden Tower!" Doomsday Supre announced as he and Lin Fei arrived from Kunyu City.
It was Lin Fei's first ti seeing the Forbidden Tower. The structure simply lood quietly in the chaotic void, surrounded by many Supres. Lin Fei and the Doomsday Supre were just two among many, though they hadn't caused any commotion.
However, the presence of the Doomsday Supre, who was no ordinary Supre, made them stand out. Many Supres had seen the Doomsday Supre before, and his presence now caused quite a stir of surprise.
"It seems the Supre of Doomsday has returned to the Forbidden Tower?"
"The Supre of Doomsday had long ago reached the ninth floor of the Forbidden Tower. However, it appears he was thwarted there, unable to breach the ninth level."
"Now that the Supre of Doomsday has returned to the Forbidden Tower, does he intend to attempt it once again?"
"In truth, as I see it, there is no need for further attempts. As an Invincible Supre, he has assailed the ninth floor countless tis. If he has not succeeded, it stands to reason that the ninth level of the Forbidden Tower is simply beyond even an Invincible Supre."
"That is not necessarily the case. The Forbidden Tower, barring entry to the Masters of Chaos, and the Invincible Supre being second only to them in realm. The Tower has nine levels; can it really just be for show?"
"Since the Forbidden Tower was designed with nine levels, it must be that a Supre of such stature can indeed conquer the ninth. Perhaps the Supre of Doomsday rely lacks sothing in certain respects, which is why he has failed to conquer it."
"Indeed, in all of Chaos, the Supre of Doomsday seems to be the only Invincible Supre thus far. We can only observe as he challenges the Forbidden Tower, his true strength among the Invincible Supres still unclear to us."
"Wait, who is that Supre beside the Supre of Doomsday? From the looks of it, the Supre of Doomsday seems to hold this stranger in high regard, as if viewing him as an equal."
"How peculiar, the Supre of Doomsday is known for his high regard for himself..."
Many murmured upon sighting the Supre of Doomsday.
Indeed, speaking of the matters concerning the Supre of Doomsday could well fill three days and nights. Suddenly accompanied by an unfamiliar Supre, And yet, his deanor was most cordial. Many Supres, indeed, found this odd.
Lin Fei glanced at the many Supres. He was unconcerned. The Supre of Doomsday was similarly indifferent. In Lin Fei's gaze lay only the Forbidden Tower before him.
"The Forbidden Tower..." Lin Fei murmured softly. He could sense the grandeur and mystery of the Forbidden Tower. A presence that surpassed even the Masters of Chaos.
What realm might that be?
Lin Fei was uncertain. But the Forbidden Tower indeed exceeded his expectations.
"Supre of Doomsday, can you directly ascend to the ninth floor of the Forbidden Tower?" Lin Fei suddenly inquired.
"Indeed, once you've breached the tower, upon leaving and re-entering, you return to your previous position."
Lin Fei, thoughtful, continued, "So you say, you can directly reach the ninth level, while I must fight my way up slowly?"
"Indeed, you must ascend, one level at a ti, slowly making your way. However, this is not much of an issue. From the first to the eighth level, for us Invincible Supres, it is not too challenging, and easily surmountable. If you were to reach the ninth level, you might not even need a day's ti."
Lin Fei nodded.
"Since that is the case, then I ask the Supre of Doomsday to wait a few hours."
With that, Lin Fei took to the skies, heading directly for the Forbidden Tower.
