Immortality Martial Arts: I Started with the Five Animals Health Fist Chapter 562 - 200: Violent Bear Shakes the Earth! The 10 Hum
"These True Beast Pictures... To others, they may ultimately be no more than precious collectibles, but if I’m willing to put in the effort and pay the price, I still have a chance to get my hands on them."
Su Changkong thought to himself.
The legacy paintings left by Bai Xingzhi were probably all of True Beasts he had encountered, but to most people, they were nothing more than paintings after all, enormously valuable though they might be. However, Su Changkong, now wealthy and powerful, was willing to pay a high price to acquire them, even offering Innate Qi if necessary!
The only difficulty was in knowing the whereabouts of these paintings.
He should collect as many as possible, but he must obtain all of the remaining four bird paintings without fail!
In this era, True Beasts were a once-in-a-millennium encounter; only through the True Beast essence contained in Bai Xingzhi’s paintings could one glimpse the true appearance of a True Beast. Su Changkong needed to be all the more vigilant about this.
"First, a visit to Cangyun Pavilion is in order. I previously tasked Cangwen Yu with purchasing the Spiritual dicines for the Heavenly Spirit Pill; the ti should be about right now."
Su Changkong collected his thoughts, stood up, got ready, and set out for Feiyun City.
What Su Changkong needed to do now was to improve his Cultivation. He had only opened five Heavenly Pulses, and in terms of Martial Arts Realm, he indeed had much to catch up on.
Given Su Changkong’s foundation, as long as he had enough Cultivation resources, breakthroughs would co naturally, encountering no barriers at all!
The Pill Recipe for the Heavenly Spirit Pill that he had previously received from Qi Gang, and the dicinal ingredients he had asked Cangwen Yu to help purchase before parting ways, were eagerly agreed to by Cangwen Yu without any refusal.
In Feiyun City, Su Changkong, dressed in black and in the attire of a blade wielder, appeared outside the Cangyun Pavilion.
"Senior Blade, please co inside. I’ll go inform Manager Tang."
Upon arriving at Cangyun Pavilion, a disciple imdiately invited Su Changkong in, and another person quickly entered to notify Manager Tang Ming.
Su Changkong, clad in black, made his way to a private room on the second floor of Cangyun Pavilion, where he t with Manager Tang Ming.
"Is the item I entrusted Sect Leader Cang to help purchase ready?"
Sitting down, Su Changkong inquired.
"They’re ready. There are 100 sets of herb ingredients, all collected by our Cangyun Sect with full effort."
Tang Ming promptly stated, and many jade boxes laid out in the room contained the various Spiritual dicines required for refining the Heavenly Spirit Pill.
"One hundred sets?"
Su Changkong’s eyes lit up. Cangwen Yu had indeed been reliable. In three months’ ti, Cangwen Yu had mobilized every connection available to amass and purchase the 100 sets of materials for the Heavenly Spirit Pill.
With so many ingredients and Su Changkong’s Alchemy skills, he could refine at least several hundred Heavenly Spirit Pills, which was sufficient for a significant leap in his Martial Arts Realm!
"How much?"
After checking the materials and finding no issues, Su Changkong then expressed his satisfaction.
"The Sect Leader says... These are a gift to Brother Blade," Tang Ming replied respectfully.
anwhile, inside, Tang Ming was astounded. The 100 sets of Heavenly Spirit Pill materials were exceedingly valuable. Converted into Innate Qi, they were worth at least about ten strands, yet Cangwen Yu was giving them freely to Su Changkong, leaving Tang Ming perplexed and bewildered.
How significant a favor was it that required Cangwen Yu to repay in this manner?
Su Changkong was slightly surprised by this statent, yet he understood that Cangwen Yu was repaying a debt of gratitude.
If it weren’t for Su Changkong, Cangwen Yu and the others would likely have lost their lives in that valley.
Furthermore, the combat power Su Changkong displayed at the ti was astoundingly formidable. Even though Su Changkong never sought to benefit from his kindness, Cangwen Yu wouldn’t have the nerve to accept such help without offering sothing in return, as it was Su Changkong whom he had invited, and if not for Su Changkong’s own strength, it could have cost Su Changkong his life.
Hearing that Su Changkong wanted to purchase materials for refining the Heavenly Spirit Pill, Cangwen Yu had gone to great lengths to acquire so many at a high cost, offering them for free to Su Changkong.
"Then please extend my thanks to Sect Leader Cang."
Su Changkong didn’t refuse the gift and accepted the entire lot. He told this to Tang Ming.
Afterward, Su Changkong packed up the materials and carried them on his back, a massive bundle, and he bid farewell to Tang Ming and left.
Not long after leaving Cangyun Pavilion, walking on the street, and preparing to leave the city to return, Su Changkong suddenly ca to a halt.
"Brother Blade, I’ve been waiting for a long ti. Why not co up and have a few drinks?"
But as Su Changkong was passing a tavern, amidst the noisy street, he heard a man’s voice in his ear.
"Secret Voice Transmission..."
Su Changkong furrowed his brows slightly and looked up at the tavern next to him. People on the street were busily coming and going, apparently not having heard the voice just now.
Soone was keeping tabs on Su Changkong’s movents, aware that he was going to Cangyun Pavilion, and had lain in wait here in advance; the location of this tavern was also on the inevitable path Su Changkong would take upon leaving, seemingly having arrived early and waited for quite so ti.
"Let’s et him."
Though unsure of who this person might be and what their intent was, Su Changkong didn’t hesitate too much and decided to et with this individual.
This was the bustling Feiyun City with many eyes; the person likely had no ill will towards him. Otherwise, they would not wait here but instead would have set up an ambush outside the city.
Su Changkong entered the tavern and headed towards a private room on the second floor from where the voice had co.
"Please co in."
A llow voice ca from inside the room, and without any ceremony, Su Changkong pushed the door open and entered. Inside, he deposited his burden and saw a man wearing green sitting beside a table.
The man appeared to be in his thirties, tall and burly, with thick eyebrows and large eyes, exuding the rugged air of a martial artist. He was not precisely handso, but he carried an air of authority, likely soone who held a position of power.
