Chapter 449: Chapter 166: Life Extinguishing Association! Riyue Hong Xiang!_3

Elder Liu was the white-haired old man from the East Cloud Sect guarding the outside.

“If you want the Innate Qi, then you’ll have to rely on your own abilities,” said the elegant and dust-free man with white hair and a handso appearance who looked to be in his thirties. “What you get is yours to keep, but don’t expect us to give up the Innate Qi for you.”

After a slight pause, the man spoke.

At these words, Su Changkong let out a small sigh of relief. The other party had made it clear: If Su Changkong obtained the Innate Qi himself, they would not compete for it, but they would not relinquish it to him either.

That was enough for him; after all, the white-haired man’s strength was unfathomable. He could have used his power to intimidate Su Changkong into leaving, but he did not do so. Moreover, he had said that if Su Changkong obtained the Innate Qi, they would not actively snatch it.

The white-haired man said this because the East Cloud Sect had profound resources. As the Deputy Sect Master of the East Cloud Sect, he would not dean himself by snatching a re thread of Innate Qi from a junior. However, this was only if the Innate Qi was already in soone else’s possession; no one would complain about having too much Innate Qi. Whether it was to bolster their own Sect’s Martial Artists or to trade for cultivation resources, it was always extrely valuable!

Whether Su Changkong could get his hands on it depended on his own skills!

“More people are coming? And it’s not just one person.”

Soon, all four mbers of the East Cloud Sect frowned, noticing three figures following the road heading in their direction.

Not long after Su Changkong had entered, others followed suit, entering the bottom of the valley—and there were three of them!

“These three… are dangerous characters,” the white-haired man said with a hint of gravity in his voice. He whispered to the other three Martial Artists of the East Cloud Sect, alerting them to be cautious.

Without needing his caution, the other three, all keen Innate Martial Artists, instinctively felt the terror emanating from the three distinctively shaped figures in black robes.

As for the three n in black robes, from a distance, they also spotted Su Changkong and the others including the white-haired man.

“Hmm?”

Among them, Hong Xiang swept his gaze over the crowd, pausing briefly on Su Changkong with a flash of astonishnt and disbelief in his eyes, before subtly shifting his attention away.

“Who is this person?”

Su Changkong frowned slightly as he observed the three new arrivals in black robes, sensing that each of them was extrely dangerous and made one feel a chilling terror. He couldn’t help but take a second look at the tallest one among them because he felt a slight familiarity with his aura.

However, the man was wearing a bone mask, and with a height over two ters, he stood out prominently. Su Changkong would have rembered such a distinctive figure if he knew him, but none of his acquaintances matched these features.

“A Qi-Blood Realm Martial Artist?” The plump man in black robes glanced over Su Changkong, a hint of disdain flashed in the depths of his eyes, before he looked away.

As for the man with the dark red bone mask, his gaze flitted across and then away, showing no hint of emotional fluctuation.

“Gentlen, you seem to have co from afar. May I ask your honored nas and where you’re from?” asked the oldest of the East Cloud Sect Martial Artists, a middle-aged man in yellow robes, appearing to be close to fifty. He clasped his hands politely. He could sense the extrely dangerous aura emanating from the three and felt that a conflict might erupt, so he wanted to know their identities and backgrounds.

“Wind Sun Moon.”

To the surprise of the man in yellow robes, the man with the dark red bone mask amidst them, speaking in a voice indistinguishable between male and female, readily revealed his na.

“Hong Xiang.”

“Zhong Yue.”

Seeing the man with the dark red bone mask report his na, the tall man in a black robe and the shorter, plump man in a black robe also introduced themselves.

“Wind Sun Moon, Hong Xiang, Zhong Yue…”

The East Cloud Sect mbers silently repeated the three nas but shook their heads; none had heard of them before.

The white-haired man said, “I am Bai Yunhe, Deputy Sect Master of the East Cloud Sect. Since you have co here, I presu you also wish to explore the mysteries inside this valley. Why don’t we join hands and investigate together?”

As the Deputy Sect Master of the East Cloud Sect, Bai Yunhe indeed held an exceptional position. In terms of strength and resources, the East Cloud Sect was many tis stronger than the Spirit Taoist Sect.

Bai Yunhe also realized it wasn’t possible to send these three away, so he thought it was better to see if there was anything they wanted inside the valley. If there was nothing, then resorting to violence would be unwarranted, but if there was… then it would co down to who had the better skills!

The man with the dark red bone mask, Wind Sun Moon, neither agreed nor disagreed. He stood with his hands on his back, showing no intention to attack either.

“Elder Tan, continue,” Bai Yunhe signaled to the man in green clothes holding the Treasure Sword to keep carving the path.

The road was covered with ice crystals, requiring continuous excavation to proceed. The four Innate Martial Artists of the East Cloud Sect had already spent two to three days to reach this point.

“Ssshh ssshh ssshh!”

The man in green clothes, Elder Tan, nodded and comnced cutting and slicing again with the Treasure Sword, chiseling away at the ice crystals that were as hard as iron, albeit slowly.

However, Wind Sun Moon, after watching for a while, beca clearly impatient. He said, “Hong Xiang, you open the way.”

“Yes,” the tall man, Hong Xiang, nodded in agreent and headed resolutely towards the layer of ice crystals blocking the path ahead.

“Don’t be reckless! It requires a delicate touch; if you attack blindly and cause a collapse in the valley floor, it will be even more troubleso!”

Elder Tan of the East Cloud Sect warned quickly as he saw this. They were at the bottom of the valley, and a collapse could possibly bury even Innate experts inside.

Hong Xiang didn’t pay any heed; he took a step forward and threw a punch directly, creating a roaring sound as he did so.

“Boom!”

This punch landed on the thick layer of ice crystals with a thunderous impact, but surprisingly, the force was concentrated, and the destructive power was confined to a certain area.
