Fang Hao slipped out of that valley and ran for several hundred miles in one go, his heart still thumping wildly. Killing three mbers of the imperial family was no small trouble. Although he had done a clean job of destroying the evidence, who knew if those princes and grandsons had so secret tracking marks on them? If one of the Mu Family’s old monsters sensed it and cast a long-range curse on him from across thousands of miles, the joke would be on him.

He didn’t dare stop, flying desperately toward the general direction of "Ten Thousand Swords Valley" as shown on the map. Along the way, he was even more cautious, his Divine Sense fully active, watching in all directions and listening to everything, for fear of running into the Mu Family’s main forces or even more powerful Demon Beasts.

After flying for about two days and passing through a hilly area of jagged rocks, he suddenly heard a burst of intense fighting from ahead, mixed with the delicate shouts of a woman and the frantic roars of a Demon Beast. The fluctuations of spiritual energy collisions were quite violent, making the air hum.

"Sothing’s happening!" Fang Hao’s heart tightened, and he imdiately stopped his Flying Sword. Executing his Divine Spirit Steps, he silently landed behind a massive rock and peeked over.

In front of him, on an open stretch of rocky beach, lights were flashing wildly, and a battle was in full swing. One side was a massive Demon Beast, looking like a pangolin magnified over ten tis, its body covered in heavy, earthy-yellow bone armor. Its tail was thick and long, with a huge bone hamr at the tip that made a dull whistling sound as it swung. The Demon Beast’s aura was fierce, clearly Fourth Grade Low Grade, equivalent to a Middle Golden Core Stage Cultivator!

Its opponent was a young girl wearing a magnificent fiery red palace dress. She looked no more than twenty years old and was extrely beautiful, with an innate nobility and arrogance between her brows. However, her face was currently pale, and a trace of blood hung from the corner of her mouth, clearly showing she was at a disadvantage. She held a radiant vermilion bird feather fan, and with every wave, flas surged and firebirds danced, her attacks sharp. But the Bone-Armored Yao Beast’s defense was too abnormal; the flas burning on the bone armor only left shallow scorch marks, unable to break its defense at all. Instead, the Demon Beast possessed imnse strength, its bone hamr sweeping across and forcing the girl to dodge constantly, her situation becoming increasingly perilous.

Fang Hao’s gaze swept over and saw a bright yellow Phoenix Jade Pendant hanging from the girl’s waist. His heart skipped a beat: "Another Mu Family mber?!" What he feared most had co! He had just killed three, and now he had run into another! Looking at her age, bearing, and Magic Treasure, her status was probably even higher than that Third Prince from earlier!

His first instinct was to turn and leave. People from the Mu Family were a source of trouble; getting involved with them never ended well! Whether this girl lived or died was none of his business!

But just as he was about to slip away, the girl retreated rapidly to avoid a fierce pounce from the Demon Beast. Her aura beca disorganized, and her protective spiritual light dimd. The Demon Beast seized the opportunity, its massive bone hamr carrying the weight of Mount Tai as it smashed down toward the girl’s head! It looked like she was about to perish!

Despair and unwillingness flashed in the girl’s eyes as she struggled to raise her feather fan to block!

At this critical mont, as if possessed, Fang Hao’s actions were faster than his thoughts! Shrinking the Ground to an Inch was instantly activated, and his figure appeared in front of the girl as if teleporting. The yitian sword erupted with brilliant starlight—Starfall Sword Art: Army Breaker! He slashed upward with his sword, precisely striking the side of the descending bone hamr!

Clang—!!!

A deafening roar echoed! Sparks flew in all directions!

Fang Hao felt an indescribable, massive force transmit from the sword. The web between his thumb and index finger split, and the yitian sword almost flew out of his hand. He felt as if he had been hit by a high-speed rhino. His blood surged, and he stumbled back over ten feet before barely managing to steady himself, a sweetness in his throat as he almost spat out blood!

"Such powerful strength!" Fang Hao was horrified. This Demon Beast was much fiercer than the Lava Fire Lizard he had killed before!

The Bone-Armored Yao Beast was also shaken back two steps by this sudden strike. It shook its head, its crimson eyes staring intently at Fang Hao, the interloper who had appeared out of nowhere, and let out an angry roar.

The beautiful girl, having narrowly escaped death, looked in shock and caution at the back of the figure standing in front of her. She froze for a mont before her clear voice rang out with a hint of surprise: "Who are you?"

Fang Hao suppressed his surging blood and, without looking back, said in a deep voice, "Just passing through. If you don’t want to die, let’s team up! This beast’s hide is too thick; neither of us will gain anything fighting it alone!"

The girl was also a decisive person and imdiately understood the situation. Gritting her teeth, she said, "Fine! I’ll attack its eyes and belly! You distract it!" With that, she waved the vermilion bird feather fan again, and several even more condensed fire phoenixes shrieked as they lunged at the Demon Beast’s face!

The Bone-Armored Yao Beast seed sowhat wary of the flas, especially around its eyes, and quickly waved its front claws to swat away the fire phoenixes. Fang Hao seized the opportunity, his Divine Spirit Steps unfolding as his figure beca elusive. The yitian sword turned into streaks of afterimages, specifically targeting the Demon Beast’s joints and its relatively vulnerable belly! His sword techniques were tricky and ruthless, and his speed was extrely fast, causing no small amount of trouble for the Demon Beast.

"Its weakness is that slightly lighter-colored scale on its belly! Also, watch out for its tail sweeps and ground spikes!" the girl shouted urgently while attacking. Clearly, she had been fighting for a while and had figured out so of its patterns.

Fang Hao’s spirits rose. Operating his Clear Spring Spirit Eyes, he indeed discovered a small patch of scales on the Demon Beast’s belly that was whitish, seemingly with weaker defense. "Understood!"

One provided long-range fire harassnt, focusing on vital points, while the other engaged in close-quarters combat, using unconventional sword strikes. Although it was their first ti cooperating and they were sowhat uncoordinated, both were experienced in combat and quickly developed a rapport. The girl’s flas drew most of the Demon Beast’s attention, while Fang Hao, like a ghost, narrowly avoided the bone hamr sweeps and the Stone Stalagmites suddenly thrusting from the ground (this beast could actually use earth-type Spells!). His sword light focused solely on that light-colored scale.

The Bone-Armored Yao Beast roared repeatedly as it was beaten by the two’s joint efforts. Many sword marks were added to its body; though not deep, they were painfully unbearable. It beca increasingly frenzied, its attacks growing more violent.

"Watch out! It’s going into a frenzy!" the girl cried out.

The Demon Beast’s eyes instantly turned blood-red, and an earthy-yellow light surged around its body. Its size seed to expand by a circle, and its aura suddenly spiked! It abruptly reared up on its hind legs and slamd its two front claws hard against the ground!

Rumble—!

The ground shook violently, and dozens of sharp stone spikes shot out from beneath Fang Hao and the girl’s feet like bamboo shoots after rain! The range was massive, covering the entire rocky beach!

"I can’t dodge it!" Fang Hao’s expression changed, and he pushed his Five Elents Spirit Shield to its limit! The girl also gave a delicate shout, her feather fan waving a wall of fire to block in front of her!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The stone spikes collided with the spirit shield and the fire wall, producing a series of dense explosions! Fang Hao’s spirit shield shook violently, and cracks appeared! The girl’s fire wall was also blasted until it was teetering.

Taking this opportunity, the Demon Beast’s massive bone hamr, carrying a whistle that tore through the air, swept across like a thousand-man army, smashing toward the two of them!

"Now’s the ti! Attack its belly!" A fierce light flashed in Fang Hao’s eyes. Instead of dodging, he sacrificed the empty clarity mirror. The mirror’s light distorted, attempting to deflect the bone hamr’s trajectory. Simultaneously, he rged with his sword, the yitian sword turning into a streak of extrely condensed starlight that pierced directly toward the light-colored scale exposed on the Demon Beast’s belly! This was a life-risking strike!

The girl also understood. She bit the tip of her tongue and spat a mouthful of essence blood onto the vermilion bird feather fan. The fan’s light surged, and a lifelike phantom of a Vermilion Bird Divine Bird, radiating terrifyingly high temperatures, shrieked as it charged toward the Demon Beast’s face! Besieging Wei to rescue Zhao!

The Bone-Armored Yao Beast seed to sense a fatal threat and wanted to pull back for defense, but Fang Hao’s sword was too fast and ruthless! The interference from the empty clarity mirror also made its movents half a beat slower!

Puchi—!

The yitian sword precisely pierced into that light-colored scale! Sword Qi erupted!

Aow—!!!

The Demon Beast let out an incredibly shrill scream. A blood hole was blasted into its belly, and Yao blood sprayed wildly! The bone hamr it had swung down also lost its aim, grazing past Fang Hao’s body and smashing a deep pit into the ground!

anwhile, the girl’s Vermilion Bird phantom also landed solidly on the Demon Beast’s face, blasting it until its flesh was torn open and one eye was scorched blind!

The heavily injured Demon Beast went completely mad, lunging recklessly at Fang Hao, who was closer to it!

"Watch out!" the girl cried.

Fang Hao had exhausted his old strength and hadn’t yet gathered new strength. It looked like he was about to be pounced on by the Demon Beast!

At the critical mont! With a thought, the golden puppet, which had been hidden in his storage ring, instantly appeared in front of him!

Boom!

The golden puppet’s massive fist arrived first, smashing into the Demon Beast’s skull!

Crack!

The sound of the skull fracturing was clearly audible! The Demon Beast’s massive body suddenly stiffened, then slumped down softly, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The battle ca to an abrupt halt.

Fang Hao breathed a sigh of relief and quickly retracted the golden puppet (luckily he was fast and it wasn’t seen clearly), stumbling a step and leaning on his sword as he panted heavily. His spiritual energy was almost completely depleted. Just now had been dangerous to the extre.

The girl also landed back on the ground. Looking at the dead Demon Beast and the panting Fang Hao, her beautiful eyes were filled with shock and disbelief. She seed to have seen just now... a golden puppet? It had disappeared in a flash? Was she seeing things, or...

She walked up to Fang Hao, her head slightly tilted up. Although she was a bit disheveled, her noble aura remained undiminished. Her voice was clear: "Hey! Are you okay? Just now... thank you."
