Capítulo 1894: Chapter 934: Turtle Shell? Life Gate!

Luo Qingchen’s heart tightened: “Quick!”

He no longer held back his strength, the Chaotic Power surged to its peak, and his climbing speed suddenly increased! Lin Wan’er gritted her teeth and followed closely behind.

Just as they were about to climb out of the crevice and reach the surface of the ruins above, a sharp screech suddenly ca from the darkness below! A massive, pitch-black tentacle, like a demonic claw reaching from the depths of Hell, carrying a deadly corrosive aura and malevolent intent, shot towards Su Xiaowan, who was at the back, with astonishing speed!

The speed and power of this strike far exceeded the previous ones! Clearly, the being was truly enraged!

Su Xiaowan was terrified, unable to even scream!

“Courting death!” Luo Qingchen suddenly turned around, twisted his body forcefully in mid-air, a fierce light flashing in his eyes! Inside him, the recently recovered Chaos Origin burned intensely! The Black Dragon Sword let out a resounding dragon roar!

“Chaos · Annihilation Slash!”

A gray Sword Aura, condensed to the extre and seemingly capable of devouring all light, with an unyielding montum, fiercely slashed towards the pitch-black tentacle!

Sizzle——!

The Annihilation Sword Aura collided violently with the pitch-black tentacle! There was no earth-shattering explosion, only the teeth-gritting sound of energy annihilation! The gray Sword Aura, like a red-hot iron slicing through butter, tore through the layers of defense of the tentacle, severing it in two!

The severed tentacle writhed madly, like a venomous snake with a life of its own, emanating an even more intense malicious aura, but ultimately unable to prevent its energy from rapidly dissipating, finally turning into wisps of black smoke, dispersing in the chaotic energy currents.

From the depths of the crevice ca an even sharper, more furious silent roar, seemingly filled with intense pain and unwillingness, but that cold aura retreated quickly into the depths of the darkness, like a startled viper, no longer making any move.

“Puh!” Luo Qingchen forcibly unleashed that sword strike, causing his already depleted Chaos Origin to be severely damaged again, a sweetness rising in his throat, and finally could not prevent a mouthful of reverse blood from being sprayed out, his face turning paper white. His body swayed, nearly falling from the rock wall.

“Brother Luo!” Lin Wan’er exclaid and imdiately flashed over to support him.

“Go!” Luo Qingchen wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his voice hoarse but carrying an undeniable determination. He knew that although that sword had heavily wounded the strange being, it had also thoroughly enraged it. They absolutely couldn’t stay below the crevice any longer.

Lin Wan’er said nothing more, aiding Luo Qingchen, and Su Xiaowan also, still frightened, climbed up. The three of them used all their remaining strength to finally crawl up the edge of the crevice, returning once more to the shattered surface of the ruins.

Looking back, that enormous crevice seed like a giant mouth waiting to swallow people, and in its profound darkness, it felt like countless vengeful eyes were staring at them. Su Xiaowan shivered and quickly turned her head, no longer wishing to look at it again.

“Cough, cough…” Luo Qingchen coughed violently a few tis, only feeling his internal organs burning like fire. He forcibly suppressed his injuries and looked around.

They were now quite close to the towering mystical tower standing in the heart of the ruins. They could even clearly see the mottled, cracked, and rune-covered surface of the tower. The tower was not straight upward but had a strange twisted curvature, as if under so invisible great pressure. An aura far more vast, ancient, and majestic than anything felt before emanated from the tower, enveloping the area, making the air heavy and oppressive.

The structure of the ruins here was also different from the outer areas, more intact and… more eerie. Many collapsed building remnants flickered with an uncertain energy glow, the ground engraved with complex yet incomplete energy circuits, and occasionally, floating tallic spheres flickering with electric arcs could be seen, patrolling along fixed trajectories like tireless sentinels.

“The energy here… it’s so oppressive.” Lin Wan’er’s eyebrows furrowed slightly; she felt her Heavenly Essence Spiritual Power becoming sowhat sluggish, as if suppressed by so rule. At the sa ti, she sensed Bai Ling’er’s aura growing weaker, the slight flush on the girl’s cheeks disappearing completely, as if the aura emitted by the tower naturally repelled her.

“Let’s find a place to hide; Brother Luo, you need to heal imdiately.” Lin Wan’er supported Luo Qingchen, her tone brooking no refusal.

Luo Qingchen nodded. His current state was indeed dire, even standing was difficult, let alone the actions to co.

The three carefully avoided those patrolling tallic spheres and the ground’s flickering energy circuits, finding a relatively safe corner behind the shadow of so massive chanical ruin.

Lin Wan’er quickly set up a simple concealnt formation; its effectiveness was limited but better than nothing. She gently placed Bai Ling’er down, checking her condition again, her brows furrowing deeper. The Moonlight Orchid’s potency was nearly exhausted, and the energy environnt here was exceedingly detrintal to Bai Ling’er.

Luo Qingchen wasted no ti, sitting cross-legged imdiately, swallowing the last few Healing Pills he had, and began fully operating the Chaos Technique. He gritted his teeth against the tearing pain in his ridians, guiding the Chaotic Power to repair his body. At the sa ti, he attempted to sense and analyze the vast aura emanating from the surrounding tower. This aura, while majestic, was also filled with chaos, fragntation, and a… nearly insane will, akin to a giant on the verge of collapse, issuing its final roar.

Su Xiaowan, not daring to wander this ti, obediently stayed by Lin Wan’er’s side, vigilantly observing the surroundings. She clutched tightly onto the “Turtle Shell”; had it not suddenly unleashed its power, she would likely have been dragged away by that dark tentacle. She was growing increasingly attached to this serendipitous find.

As ti passed, a bit of color returned to Luo Qingchen’s face, and his breathing steadied. The Healing Pills, combined with the restorative power of Chaos, managed to stabilize his injuries, which were on the verge of collapse, though it would take more ti to restore his combat ability.

Lin Wan’er stayed by Bai Ling’er’s side, continuously channeling her gentle vitality into the girl, struggling to maintain the faint glow of the leaf at her brow.

At this mont, a subtle “click” sound caught Su Xiaowan’s attention. She turned towards the sound and noticed an inconspicuous tal plate on the side of the chanical debris seed slightly loose.

“Hmm?” Su Xiaowan’s curiosity was piqued. She walked over and poked the tal plate with her finger.

Click. The tal plate flipped inward, revealing a dark hole just large enough for a person to crawl through. The inner walls of the hole seed to form so kind of duct, sloping downward, destination unknown. A relatively dry, less oppressive and chaotic air flowed from the entrance.

“Brother Luo, Sister Wan’er, look! There’s a hole here!” Su Xiaowan whispered excitedly, calling them over.

Luo Qingchen and Lin Wan’er imdiately beca alert. Luo Qingchen opened his eyes, extending his Divine Sense into the entrance. The duct walls were smooth, likely so kind of ventilation or conduit passage, winding downward with no obvious danger sensed, and indeed, the energy fluctuations inside were steadier than outside.

“Could this be a maintenance passage into the tower?” Luo Qingchen speculated.

Lin Wan’er also sensed: “Inside, the energy seems less harmful to Ling’er.”

Barging through the tower’s main entrance was clearly unrealistic; the patrolling tal spheres and energy circuits outside were rely appetizers, and the tower’s own aura signaled extre danger within. This unexpectedly discovered passageway might be their chance to sneak inside the tower.

“Let’s go in and take a look.” Luo Qingchen decided promptly.

He struggled to stand up; though his injuries were not healed, he could move without much hindrance.
