Capítulo 1861: Chapter 918: Coordinates and Keys

At this mont, the golden light in Bai Ling’er’s eyes had already faded, and the low humming of the Dragon Soul had disappeared too. She seed to have returned to her previous weakened state, even paler than before due to the previous activation. She rubbed her forehead and looked sowhat dazedly at Luo Qingchen and Lin Wan’er: “Just… just now… I seem to…”

She felt as though she had done sothing remarkable, but couldn’t pinpoint exactly what. She only felt sothing deep within her soul being touched, and then that terrifying creature disappeared.

Luo Qingchen walked to her side, supporting her precarious body, filled with suspicion and exploration in his heart. The Ancestor Dragon’s residual soul… it seed to be real. However, this power appeared not to be under Bai Ling’er’s control, only passively triggered during extre danger or intense emotional fluctuation. Is this ultimately good or bad?

He looked into Bai Ling’er’s clear yet puzzled eyes, deciding not to reveal the truth for now. So things, perhaps, could wait until they left the Nine Netherlands and found a completely safe place to slowly explore.

“You did very well just now.” Luo Qingchen said gently, “Together, we repelled the enemy.”

He glanced around. Although they had driven away the soul shadow, the danger here was far from over. The escaped Tomb Guardian remained like a sword hanging over them, ready to strike at any mont. Moreover, the noise from the previous battle was considerable, which might attract other, more powerful Nine Nether creatures.

“We need to leave here quickly and find a place to recover,” Luo Qingchen said solemnly. He took out the leaf from the Nine Revolutions Soul Revival Grass again, carefully placing it on Bai Ling’er’s forehead. The gentle energy once more flowed in, alleviating her weakness.

The four dared not linger any longer, briefly navigating, continuing to move in the previously chosen southwest direction. This ti, they were even more cautious and slowed their pace considerably.

The night seed to deepen even more.

The piercing Yin Fiend wind seed never to cease, sweeping over the desolate and cold Gobi, passing over Luo Qingchen and the group’s weary bodies. After charging out of that suffocating Ghostly Mist, they had been fleeing for nearly an hour, with no further signs of soul shadow pursuit, but the bone-chilling cold and the lingering sense of crisis followed them relentlessly.

“I… I can’t… can’t run anymore…” Su Xiaowan was the first to collapse, sitting heavily on the cold gravel, her hands resting on her knees, gasping for breath, her little face frostbitten purple, lips slightly cracked, “Brother Luo, should we rest a bit… just a while… I feel like my legs are not mine anymore, if I keep running, they’ll probably run away from ho.”

She gasped heavily, looking pitifully at Luo Qingchen, tears almost welling up. This ti she was genuinely exhausted, barely having the strength to complain.

Lin Wan’er was in slightly better condition, but her face was pale too, her Spiritual Power significantly drained. She walked to Su Xiaowan’s side, gently patting her back, but her gaze was directed at Luo Qingchen, inquiringly. The consecutive battles and escapes had taken a high toll on everyone, particularly the ntal strain, leaving them utterly fatigued.

Bai Ling’er, supported half by Luo Qingchen, had regained much consciousness, the leaf from the Nine Revolutions Soul Revival Grass on her forehead continuously emitted a warm energy, healing her damaged soul and body. However, the brief and unfamiliar Dragon Soul humming earlier seed to have overdrawn her already ager strength, making her feel weak, even standing was difficult. She could feel the steady power from Luo Qingchen’s arm, her heart filled with gratitude and guilt.

Luo Qingchen paused, his sharp gaze sweeping around. This part of the Gobi was even more desolate than where they had encountered the mist, with fewer jagged rocks and instead, an endless expanse of gray-black gravel and occasionally protruding, seemingly gnawed-upon low mounds. The Yin Fiend energy in the air was more intense, even carrying a faint hint of decay.

He knew Su Xiaowan wasn’t feigning, Lin Wan’er needed breath regulation, and Bai Ling’er urgently required stable recovery. Though he could quickly recover with the Chaos Technique, maintaining the Chaos shield to protect everyone and the previous battle’s consumption was not without cost.

“Resting here is too dangerous.” Luo Qingchen’s voice was slightly hoarse, the Chaotic Power quietly operating as he extended his senses, ticulously probing any possible threats, “Ahead seems to be… sothing different, let’s check it out.”

In his perception, about several miles to their left front, the energy fluctuations appeared sowhat chaotic, the Yin Fiend energy was not as uniformly dead as here, vaguely carrying so… fragnt and broken aura.

“Ugh? We still have to go?” Su Xiaowan wailed, but seeing Luo Qingchen’s uncompromising gaze and Lin Wan’er’s outstretched hand, she could only pout, using the strength to stand up, dragging her heavy steps to follow.

The four trudged onwards again for so distance, finally seeing so blurry outlines at the horizon’s end. They were not naturally ford hills or strange rocks, but rather varying heights and mostly collapsed… building ruins.

The black stone walls were long tattered, broken pillars leaned into the gravel, weathered carvings were hazy, vaguely displaying so ancient and eerie totems. A more desolate, deathly aura perated from the ruins, seemingly narrating a piece of forgotten, ominous history.
