Luo Chen looked up and scrutinized the old man, noticing his tattered clothing but the extraordinary gleam in his eyes, nodded to indicate for the old man to sit down.

After the old man sat down, Luo Chen noticed he was holding a worn sheepskin scroll with so strange symbols drawn on it.

Seeing Luo Chen’s gaze fall on the scroll, the old man smiled: “Young friend, are you interested in this scroll?”

Luo Chen smiled slightly: “Sir, this scroll seems quite extraordinary. I wonder what it is?”

The old man smiled mysteriously: “This scroll is a treasure map said to contain the relics of a great figure from Ancient Tis, filled with countless treasures but also many traps and challenges.”

Luo Chen’s heart was stirred. Although he had just left Seven-Star City, his desire for cultivation resources had not diminished.

He pondered for a mont before speaking: “Sir, why don’t you search for treasure yourself?”

The old man sighed: “I’m old and no longer have the courage of my youth. Young friend, you are young and promising. If you can obtain the treasure, it might bring a new atmosphere to the world.”

After hearing this, Luo Chen pondered silently.

Although he was sowhat skeptical of the old man’s words, his desire for treasure drove him to want to investigate.

He decided not to refuse imdiately but instead asked tentatively: “Sir, why did you choose ?”

The old man smiled slightly: “Young friend, you have the aura of Star Force, indicating your cultivation technique is extraordinary. Moreover, I observe your appearance, and you are destined for great things in this quest for treasure.”

Luo Chen was startled upon hearing this.

He hadn’t expected the old man to detect the secret of his cultivation in the Stellar Art.

After a mont of contemplation, he finally made up his mind: “Sir, I am willing to give it a try, but where does this treasure map point to?”

Seeing Luo Chen agree, the old man’s eyes showed a trace of appreciation: “Young friend, the location pointed by the treasure map is a place called ‘You Ming Valley,’ a perilous area that ordinary people cannot reach. But with your strength, you might have a chance.”

Luo Chen nodded, understanding it was both an opportunity and a challenge.

He decided to rest in the small town for a few days and prepare thoroughly before heading to You Ming Valley.

Several days later, Luo Chen bade farewell to the small town and set off on his journey to You Ming Valley.

He understood that the road ahead would be filled with unknowns and dangers, but he also knew that only by constantly challenging himself could he truly grow.

Not yet reaching the fabled You Ming Valley, Luo Chen encountered trouble on his journey.

“Old man, hand over that map that contains the chance of fortune.”

“You shouldn’t possess that, old thing.”

Several n dressed in black surrounded the old man, their expressions unfriendly and their eyes filled with greed and nace.

Luo Chen frowned, having not expected to run into such trouble shortly after leaving Seven-Star City.

The old man seed unsurprised by the situation and calmly said to Luo Chen: “Young friend, it seems the allure of this treasure map is not small.”

Luo Chen stood up, his eyes coldly sweeping over the n in black. He didn’t want to stir up trouble, but he wasn’t afraid of it either.

He spoke calmly: “Gentlen, this old man is traveling with . Surrounding him like this seems rather inappropriate.”

The leader of the n in black sneered: “Kid, this old fool is a swindler; the treasure map he holds is fake, don’t be fooled by him.”

Upon hearing this, the old man rely smiled: “Whether it is real or fake, how can you be sure?”

Luo Chen’s heart was stirred; although sowhat skeptical of the old man’s words, he was unwilling to give up this opportunity.

He decided to observe the situation before making any plans.

Seeing that Luo Chen hadn’t retreated imdiately, one of the n in black drew a weapon, threatening: “Kid, if you’re smart, leave quickly. Don’t force us to act.”

Luo Chen’s eyes grew cold. He didn’t wish to act hastily, but he didn’t fear any challenge.

He slowly drew the longsword from his waist, the blade shimring coldly in the sunlight: “I’m curious to see what you’re capable of.”

A confrontation seed inevitable, and Luo Chen gripped his sword hilt tightly, ready for battle.

However, at that mont, the old man suddenly spoke: “Gentlen, must we draw swords? The treasure map is indeed genuine, but without sufficient strength and luck, obtaining it would only bring disaster.”

The n in black seed sowhat swayed, but their leader remained adamant: “Old man, don’t try to fool us with words. Either hand over the treasure map or be prepared to die.”

Seeing this, Luo Chen understood that a fight was unavoidable.

He took a deep breath, preparing to attack.

Just as he was about to act, the old man suddenly took out a small jade bottle from his sleeve and gently tossed it, letting it burst in mid-air, releasing a strange fragrance.

The n in black were montarily disoriented by this fragrance, their movents becoming sluggish.

Seizing the opportunity, Luo Chen’s figure flickered as he rushed into the midst of the n in black, his sword light weaving swiftly between them.

After several exchanges, the n in black fell one by one, while Luo Chen remained unscathed.

Sheathing his sword, he turned to the old man with a questioning look in his eyes.

The old man smiled slightly: “Young friend, your swordsmanship is impressive. It seems choosing you was indeed a wise decision.”

Luo Chen nodded, his curiosity about the old man’s identity and intentions growing, but now was not the ti for inquiries.

He decided to solve the imdiate problem first.

“Sir, we should leave here quickly. It is not wise to linger,” Luo Chen suggested.

The old man nodded, and the two quickly left the small town, continuing toward You Ming Valley.

On the way, Luo Chen couldn’t help but ask the old man: “Sir, what thod did you use just now?”

The old man smiled mysteriously: “Young friend, it was just a simple trick; the real test lies ahead.”

Luo Chen’s heart tightened, realizing that the treasure hunt might not be as simple as he imagined.

Nevertheless, he did not retreat, but instead fird his resolve to move forward.

Several days later, they finally arrived at the entrance of You Ming Valley.

The valley entrance was shrouded in thick fog, with chilling winds swirling around, instilling fear.

Luo Chen took a deep breath, knowing the real challenge was about to begin.

“Sir, are you really sure this treasure map is correct?” Luo Chen asked again for confirmation.

The old man nodded: “Young friend, the treasure map is indeed correct, but You Ming Valley is full of danger. You must proceed carefully.”

Luo Chen nodded, gripping his sword tightly, as he stepped into You Ming Valley.

The scene inside the valley was completely different from outside, with oddly shaped rocks and withered trees everywhere, the air filled with a sense of decay.

They cautiously moved forward, when suddenly the ground began to tremble, and rocks around them cracked open, releasing a swarm of ferocious-looking creatures from underneath.

These creatures moved quickly and attacked fiercely, plunging Luo Chen and the old man into a challenging battle.

The fight lasted a long ti, but using his superior swordsmanship and absolute strength, Luo Chen eventually defeated all the creatures.

However, just as they were about to relax, a massive figure slowly erged from the mist.

It was a giant, several zhang tall, wielding an enormous stone club, each step causing the ground to shake.

The giant’s eyes glowed red, clearly not an ordinary being.

Luo Chen took a deep breath, realizing this would be their greatest challenge yet.

He turned to look at the old man, who simply watched him calmly, seemingly waiting for sothing.

Luo Chen hesitated no longer, channeling all his power and activating the Stellar Art to its fullest, the sword tip gathering radiant starlight.

He shouted and charged at the giant.

The battle was extrely intense, with Luo Chen relying on agile movent techniques and powerful sword skills to maneuver around the giant.

However, the giant’s strength was overwhelming, with Luo Chen barely avoiding hits several tis.

Just as Luo Chen was nearly exhausted, he suddenly felt a surge of new power rising within him.
