The Tri-Colored Fire Lotus was exquisitely beautiful, but the aura it emanated made the hearts of the many Martial Artists on both sides of the canyon pound with terror.

This Fire Lotus, condensed from the Tri-Colored True Fla, was imasurably more powerful than the previous Furious Fire Lotus.

"Ning Jiang, be obliterated by the Tri-Colored True Fla!" Yuwen Chi’s gaze turned cold as he roared, "Detonate!"

BOOM!

At his command, the entire Tri-Colored Fire Lotus exploded. The terrifying Tri-Colored True Fla engulfed the entire fighting stage and continued to spread outward.

"The stage is starting to lt!"

To the crowd’s astonishnt, the fighting stage, which was built from a special type of stone, actually began to lt, unable to withstand the terrifying heat.

Moreover, the chains connecting the stage on both sides were burned red-hot and began to snap.

The sight was astonishing.

"Was he incinerated?"

The crowd of Martial Artists cried out in alarm and backed away.

Ning Jiang had vanished completely, swallowed by the roiling Fla.

"Senior Brother Yuwen has won for sure." The mbers of the Fire Cloud Sect began celebrating prematurely.

"Ninth Elder, you have to make it out alive."

All the Elders of the Yanyue Sect felt their hearts clench, their gazes fixed and unblinking.

’It’s over.’

Yuwen Chi clasped his hands behind his back and turned to leave the stage.

However, just as he took his first step, he suddenly sensed sothing. He spun around and stared into the heart of the Fla.

’How is this possible?’

His pupils contracted violently, and then his entire vision was filled with a blinding Thunderbolt.

Before he could even register what kind of technique it was, the Thunderbolt slamd into his body.

SPIT.

He coughed up a mouthful of blood. A series of sickening cracks echoed from within him as most of his bones shattered. Like a kite with a snapped string, his body was sent flying backward.

GASP!

The sound echoed the collective shock of the audience. Watching Yuwen Chi get sent flying, countless pairs of eyes stared in disbelief.

Shock, confusion, and doubt appeared in everyone’s eyes.

"Yuwen Chi used a killer move like the Tri-Colored True Fla and he still lost?"

"What was that move just now? It’s a sha the Fla blocked the view. We couldn’t see a thing."

The crowd buzzed with discussion. Even the experts of the Primordial Spirit Fourth Tribulation Realm, with all their Eye Power, had only seen a flash of a Thunderbolt before Yuwen Chi was grievously wounded and knocked away.

"In the end, Yuwen Chi underestimated his opponent. He had a killer move, so how could Ning Jiang—a man who entered the Nine-Miles Region—not have an ace up his sleeve?"

"It wasn’t that Yuwen Chi was weak in this fight. It’s that Ning Jiang is simply unfathomable."

"Do you think Ning Jiang has other killer moves besides that Thunderbolt?"

At these words, countless people fell into deep thought.

Indeed. Who could guarantee that the Thunderbolt was Ning Jiang’s only ace in the hole?

Thus far, Ning Jiang had given everyone the impression of being unfathomable.

He appeared perfectly calm, but in reality, he was like a deep abyss. No one could know what terrifying monster lurked beneath the placid surface.

"Yuwen, what happened just now? Did you get a clear look?"

Over with the Fire Cloud Sect, several Elders supported the grievously wounded Yuwen Chi and asked the question.

"I don’t know. I underestimated him and didn’t see it clearly."

Yuwen Chi’s eyes dimd. This defeat had dealt him a severe blow.

At that mont, his heart was filled with bitter indignation.

"That’s enough, Yuwen," the Fire Cloud Sect Leader said sternly. "Victory and defeat are commonplace for a warrior. Losing this one match doesn’t matter. There are other fights ahead. Pull yourself together and make sure you win the rest."

"Yes."

"First match: Ning Jiang wins," Ge Changming announced the result. "We will now begin the draw for the second match."

"The first match was incredible. I wonder who will be matched up for the second?"

"I hope it’s not the Twin Sword Sons against Jian Xinghe. If they fight this early, it’ll ruin the excitent."

Amid the crowd’s anticipation, the drawing for the second match was concluded.

Jian Xinghe versus Liu Bingxue!

It was another heavyweight showdown.

"Jian Xinghe may be number one among the younger generation of Qing Province, but Liu Bingxue is no slouch. That Extre Cold Qi of hers could even freeze an opponent’s attack. If Jian Xinghe wants to beat her, it’s going to be a bitter fight."

On the fighting stage.

Two figures stood opposite each other. One was handso with a full head of golden hair; the other was an ethereal beauty, dressed in white.

"Jian Xinghe, let see how much stronger you’ve beco."

Though Liu Bingxue was a woman, her will to win was no weaker than any man’s.

With a wave of her hand, an icy chill spread out. Snowflakes began to drift through the air, carrying a bone-piercing cold.

But as the snowflakes neared Jian Xinghe, they were deflected by a wave of Qi Force, unable to get close.

Liu Bingxue paid it no mind. If such an attack could trouble Jian Xinghe, he wouldn’t be worthy of the title of number one in Qing Province’s younger generation.

"Snow, gather."

Liu Bingxue’s expression turned solemn. With a beckoning gesture, the snow dancing through the air converged on her palm. It spun furiously, constantly compressing, and in less than the blink of an eye, a crystalline, miniature blizzard materialized.

WHOOSH!

She flung her hand, sending the miniature blizzard hurtling toward Jian Xinghe. It expanded rapidly in mid-air, instantly becoming a true blizzard—no, it was more than ten tis more terrifying than any natural storm. It was like an icy at grinder, shredding everything in its path.

She and Yuwen Chi were polar opposites: one wielded scorching flas, the other, frigid ice.

"Liu Bingxue, there’s no need to waste ti with probing attacks like this."

Jian Xinghe remained motionless. He raised his arm and, using his hand as a blade, swiped downward.

RIIIP!

The blizzard was torn asunder, parting to flow around Jian Xinghe on either side.

"Extre Ice Condensation Kill!"

Liu Bingxue let out a sharp cry. The frigid aura around her intensified abruptly, and with her at its epicenter, the very air seed to transform into an ancient ice cavern.

Innurable Ice Cones materialized around her, blotting out the sky as they shot forward in a massive barrage.

This was her killer move.

Against soone like Jian Xinghe, ordinary techniques were useless—a re waste of ti. It was better to use a killer move from the start and settle the score.

The power of this move was extraordinary, for it was born from the Extre Cold Qi she had cultivated on the Floating Snow Pillar. The piercing chill made many surrounding Martial Artists feel as though the blood in their veins was about to freeze solid.

"So cold... With power like this, the Jian Xinghe of a year ago might not have been able to withstand it."

Many Martial Artists shivered, and even so of the Primordial Spirit Fourth Tribulation Realm experts frowned as they felt the encroaching cold.

"Liu Bingxue, a move of this caliber is worthy of my blade."

Jian Xinghe stood motionless. His palm clenched, and the Xinghe Sword appeared in his grasp. He swung.

It was the Xinghe Sword Technique again.

The Sword Aura streaked across the sky like a river of stars—brilliant, dazzling, and unstoppable as it tore through Liu Bingxue’s Ice Cones.

"Hyaaah!"

Liu Bingxue pushed her Extre Cold Qi to its absolute limit, conjuring a massive blizzard that enveloped the entire fighting stage.

"Liu Bingxue, it’s ti to end this."

From within the blizzard, Jian Xinghe’s Sword Montum flared. He unleashed several more strikes. Liu Bingxue held on for a short while longer, but she finally could not withstand the assault. She spat out a mouthful of blood, her defeat sealed.
