"Thunder River."

Ning Jiang let out a long cry and threw a punch.

In an instant, a brilliant Thunderbolt erupted from his body, flowing like a ceaseless, roaring river as it surged toward the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion.

From the White Ape’s perspective, the Thunderbolt was like a river from the heavens crashing down, transforming into a torrent that rushed forward, destroying everything in its path.

The punch wasn’t aid at it.

Yet, a skin-crawling fear seized it. Every hair on its body stood on end out of sheer instinct, and its scalp felt like it was about to split open.

That one punch could have absolutely obliterated it, reducing it to dust.

’My instincts were right after all,’ the White Ape thought, terrified. ’Even if I used my Talent Divine Techniques, I’d be no match for him.’

The next mont, the two bolts of lightning crashed into each other.

The Purple Thunder River clashed with the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion’s Talent Divine Techniques.

"RUMBLE!"

An earth-shattering sound erupted as a blinding light shot ten thousand zhang into the sky.

Gale-force winds swept out, and crackling electricity sizzled as it spread in all directions.

Under the might of the Thunder River, the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion’s cyan thunderbolt held for a mont before rapidly collapsing, completely unable to resist.

"ROAR."

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion let out a furious roar and hastily dodged the charging Thunder River.

The Purple Thunder grazed its body. In its wake, a layer of the ground was scraped away, and all the trees and rocks were pulverized.

Finally, right before their eyes, two entire mountains were razed to the ground.

"You dodged one punch. What about the second?"

Thunderbolts surged around Ning Jiang’s body as Purple Thunder gathered on his fist once more.

With this next punch, the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion was dood to die.

"Wait."

At the critical mont, the White Ape stopped Ning Jiang. "Master Monkey can just teach this stinking lion a lesson. There’s no need to kill it, right?"

"You stinking monkey, spare your fake sincerity! Even if this Master Shi dies today, I’ll make you all feel the pain!"

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion let out a roar, speaking in the tongue of Demons.

’Master Shi?’

An amused expression appeared on Ning Jiang’s face. The White Ape liked to call itself Master Monkey, and this lion called itself Master Shi. ’Seems like there’s sothing fishy going on here.’

"White Ape, aren’t you going to explain?" Ning Jiang asked, glancing coolly at the White Ape.

An awkward look crossed the White Ape’s face. Knowing it couldn’t hide the truth from Ning Jiang, it said honestly, "Sir, this lion, like , received guidance from our master. You could say we’re from the sa sect."

"Bah! You, a stinking monkey, are worthy of being in the sa sect as Master Shi?" the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion scoffed.

It was clear the two of them had so conflict and weren’t on good terms; otherwise, they wouldn’t be at each other’s throats like this.

"Enough. I don’t care if you’re from the sa sect or not. Since it’s so hostile, I’ll just kill it and be done with it." Ning Jiang raised his fist, but this ti, he aid it at the White Ape.

"Don’t!" Seeing this, the White Ape grew frantic. It had only wanted to use Ning Jiang’s power to teach the lion a lesson, not see it killed.

"What, you want to save it? Fine. Take a punch for it," Ning Jiang offered a choice.

"This..." The White Ape gritted its teeth, then said resolutely, "Fine. I’ll take it for him."

As it spoke, a low growl rumbled in its throat. Its aura surged, and a mont later, the phantom image of an ape appeared around its body.

The ape phantom crossed its arms in front of its chest in a tight defensive posture.

This was its Talent Divine Techniques.

"If you can take this, I’ll spare your life," Ning Jiang said, his sleeves fluttering as he slowly sent his fist forward.

"Human, this stinking monkey has nothing to do with this! If you want to kill soone, co at ! Why drag it into this?"

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion didn’t run. Instead, it roared furiously and charged forward.

’Huh? I’m fine?’

When Ning Jiang’s fist landed on the White Ape, it discovered there was no force behind it at all. Instantly, its tense muscles relaxed, and it broke out in a cold sweat.

"What’s going on?"

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion was also stunned, bewildered.

"White Ape, you were willing to take a punch for it. And you," he said to the lion, "seeing it in danger, charged over without a second thought. So what is there for you two to fight about?"

Flicking his fingernails, Ning Jiang’s voice was as calm as still water.

"This..."

The White Ape and the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion looked at each other and instantly understood. Ning Jiang had never intended to kill them; his actions had just been a way to get them to reconcile.

It had to be said, Ning Jiang’s thod had worked.

The look in both of their eyes softened.

After all, that was a life-or-death mont. Under normal circumstances, anyone would choose to flee and save themselves. Who would stay behind to die?

"Stinking monkey, I’ll rember this favor. But don’t think I’ll forgive you so easily," the Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion snorted.

"What was your feud about anyway? Tell ," Ning Jiang asked casually.

"Ahem, it’s all in the past. Nothing worth ntioning," the White Ape said, quickly changing the subject.

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion also seed reluctant to bring up the past and remained silent.

"Alright, where is that fruit you ntioned? Take to see it."

Ning Jiang had no interest in pressing them and brought up the purpose of his trip.

According to the White Ape, there was a strange fruit here, but it didn’t recognize what it was.

A short ti later, on a broken cliff, Ning Jiang saw the fruit the White Ape had spoken of.

It was a small, entirely white tree, only a few feet tall, looking very delicate and elegant. At its very top was a single white fruit.

The fruit was covered in speckled patterns, making it look incredibly strange.

"Divinity Transformation Fruit!"

Ning Jiang’s eyes suddenly lit up, shining with a keen light.

’With this, I can start refining the Spiritual Replenishing Pill.’

The Divinity Transformation Fruit was the final ingredient. It was extrely rare and precious.

The market price for a Divinity Transformation Fruit had always been sky-high. It was an item with a price but no supply; if one ever appeared, it would be imdiately bought at an exorbitant cost.

This fruit had only one effect: to help a Martial Artist condense their Primordial Spirit when breaking through to the Primordial Spirit Fourth Tribulation Realm.

Not every Martial Artist could successfully condense a Primordial Spirit.

Most Martial Artists failed and died during the process.

Therefore, the Divinity Transformation Fruit was a desperately sought-after item for any Martial Artist who needed to condense their Primordial Spirit.

"ROAR ROAR—"

The Cyan-Haired One-Horned Lion let out a low growl, looking reluctant to part with it.

"This is useless to you. If you were to swallow it, you would die," Ning Jiang said calmly as he plucked the Divinity Transformation Fruit.

For a creature without sufficient strength, swallowing a Divinity Transformation Fruit was no different from taking a fatal poison.

’This trip has been quite fruitful, but it’s a sha I haven’t found anything useful for myself.’

When he entered the Death Mountain Range, besides looking for the ingredients for the Spiritual Replenishing Pill, Ning Jiang also wanted to increase his own strength and find sothing useful for himself.

’In this world, strength is always the most important thing.’

...

"Senior Brother, are we there yet?"

A young man and woman were moving through the forests of the Death Mountain Range. The man was in his twenties, while the woman was younger, around sixteen or seventeen.

"If the Fragnt Map is correct, we should only be a few dozen li from our destination. Junior Sister, let’s push on. We’ll be there soon," the young man said encouragingly, looking at the Fragnt Map in his hand.

Following the Fragnt Map, they had already ventured several hundred li deep into the Death Mountain Range.

In a place like the Death Mountain Range, they didn’t dare fly openly in the sky, otherwise they would risk being targeted by a Bloodthirsty Insect Swarm, which would put their lives in danger.

Therefore, they chose to travel through the mountains on foot. Fortunately, their journey had been tense but not dangerous, and they hadn’t encountered any life-threatening situations.

The two traveled on in silence, focusing on their journey. Both had Spirit Realm Cultivation, and with their speed, they finally reached their destination after half an hour.

"JINGLE..."
