Up above in the skies, Arthur, with a sense of foreboding, gazed into the distant horizon.

'Eve, sothing is wrong!'

'The distance their is vast, I can't get there will the teleportation ring alone or flying directly.'

The aura of danger lingered, prompting him to swiftly board the flying shuttle Suo Hao had bestowed upon him.

Arthur placed a peak Earth Grade Spirit Crystal and the shuttle ca to life and sped off in the air.

With an urgent determination, he set off, slicing through the air towards the source of the ominous feeling.

Unbeknownst to Arthur, a fierce confrontation was unfolding above a bustling city.

----

A trio of enigmatic figures, their features obscured, faced off against a duo which were Eve and an unknown old man.

"Senior Guan Li, you are very respected amongst the elders. Why must you entertain the banter of this rebellious girl?"

A young man who led two other n in golden full body armor questions the old man standing in front of Eve protectively.

The strangest thing was that if any ordinary person was here, they would not be able to see the faces of these individuals even if they stood directly in front of them.

The man addressed as Guan Di appeared to be middle-age but his age would shock any one of the Mortal Emperor Realm.

"Prince Lei Tian, although you were sent here with the authority of the Heavenly Empire, these are our private matters. Hence, I will ask you to withdraw and not interfere."

"You private matters? Hah! How can I not be involved? Should remind you of what is going on at this ti?"

Behind Guan Li, Eve frowned and asked, "Senior what does he an?"

Guan Li sighed, "Don't worry about it miss, it is just so skirmish. Everything will be fine but you have to leave with now or else there might be no chance and you will be taken by them forcefully to the Emperor."

"But I can't go now..." She muttered.

'I need to et him. I haven't even told him this truth about , I...' Eve felt bad.

"Guan Di, the ti for resistance is over. Yunü must co with us. It is her duty to the Jade Empire and most of all her father," declared Lei Tian, his gaze beca cold.

Lei Tian signaled with his hands and the two n besides him sprang into action.

*Swoosh!*

"Lei Tian how dare you!"

Guan Li went up to et them and could only hold them back.

*Bang!*

*Boom!*

Terrifying booming sounds echoed in the vast sky causing the residents of the city below to panic and wonder at what level of powerhouses are battling above the city.

"Stop this, you will harm the people below!" Eve shouted at Lei Tian.

"What people?"

"You!"

"You an those ants? The mortals?"

"Mortals are also living beings too. You can't disregard them."

"Hahaha! Yunü, it was this nature of yours that made you leave wasn't it? You are very strange you know that? You were born a Godling but you had mortal sentints so much so that you couldn't even harm a fly."

"You were bullied by the other princesses of the royal family but you would always try to please them when you could and even saved their asses multiple tis."

"You never had the heart of a true god, neither did you have the heart of a Cultivator. In all your years, you refuse to accept the truth..."

"What truth is that?" Eve clenched her fist.

"The Heavenly Dao is rciless as all things in the lines of Fate and Destiny are," Lei Tian said coldly.

"You don't understand," Eve responded and then said, "Also, never address as Yunü again. My na is Yu Lingxin to you!"

Lei Tian smiled dismissively and raised his hands in the air, "As you wish, Princess Yu Lingxin."

"Tch, annoying."

*Bang!*

Guan Di, a stalwart defender, faced the challenge of battling two people as powerful as him.

The battle was only getting intense and Guan Li was getting anxious as he was alone.

"So this is the famous Guan Li of the Empire's War God Temple."

"Hehe, why are you so weak?"

The two opponents mocked him as their bodies sparked with red and purple lightning.

"Tch!" Guan Li clicked his tongue in annoyance.

'If my War God Imperial Mark wasn't stripped away by the temple how would I have fallen to such a state even if this body was just a re clone of mine.'

His ancient halberd clashed against the weapons of the two warriors aligned with Lei Tian. Each strike resonated with the echoes of countless battles, a testant to Guan Li's unwavering commitnt to protect Yunü.

The clash of titans intensified, each movent a dance between ancient prowess and immortal power.

Lei Tian flew closer to Eve and just as she was thinking of what to do in this situation she saw Lei Tian create a ball of lightning in his fingertips and pointed it at the city below.

Eve, refusing to be a passive observer, decided to take action.

"I won't sit still and let you do what you want. First Seal Release!"

However, Lei Tian smiled instead, "You are so easy to predict. Now that you have broken the seal, your leaving here in inevitable. After all, unlike us, you are here with you real body."

Eve didn't reply and decided to attack when a golden disk appeared above her and sealed her in place and in a decisive move, Lei Tian invoked an array, trapping her in a spatial prison.

Guan Li saw this and was shocked, "Eight Trigrams Spatial Array Disk!"

"Why would Guan Zhèn lent you this artifact?!" He asked but Lei Tian ignored him and his opponents kept him busy.

'Damn it! This mission is getting harder!'

Appearing before the ensnared Eve, Lei Tian, with an air of regality, addressed her. "Princess Yu Lingxin, the realms are in turmoil. Rebellion echoes through the heavens, and your father, the Emperor, has called for your return. I am here to fulfill that command."

"Moreover, it won't be good to miss his birthday would it?"

"There is also sothing you should know about your mother..."

"Lei Tian, know your place!" Guan Li shouted but Lei Tian ignored him again.

"What happened to mother," Eve imdiately stopped trying to break through the array and asked.

"Well, you see..."
