Instead of soul-binding, he sent them into the Serene Palace Painting's inner world, where Cora, welcod them.

There, Philia bombarded Cora with excited questions about alchemy after finding out she was the one who refined the pills.

Back in the real world, Arthur entered the skeletal guardian's attack range.

The skeleton general's voice was heard as it asked, "Are you ready to face the test to advance further?"

Arthur remained silent and then asked for a na instead, "May I know the na of your esteed self, Senior?"

"Hmm, you want to know my na?" The skeleton general asked in mild surprise.

"You are first to ask of this but unfortunately I have no na to give you. But if you are curious about certain matters then it is my duty to clear all your doubts but only on the condition that you pass my challenge."

Arthur nodded, "Alright, what is this test of yours then?"

Arthur already had an inkling as to who he was talking to but he can't be sure yet.

'I had many valiant generals and there was one person that gives the sa vibe as this Skeleton General,' he thought.

The Skeleton was wearing the amour of one of his Generals in his last incarnations as the Great Mortal Emperor!

"You only have to withstand four sword strikes from in order to advance. Brace yourself and tell when you are ready," the skeleton general's rough voice was heard again.

Arthur nodded firmly, "I am ready!" He said in a respectful tone as one would use in the army.

"Hmm, you sound like you have so military background. Hehe, this brings back mories. Now..."

The aura of the skeleton general suddenly changed and a mighty killing intent bore down on Arthur's shoulders.

'What such strong slaughter intent!' he was surprised because the feeling he got was like that of one whose killing intent felt as endless as the ocean.

'Oh Soldier of mine, how many blood has your blade shed in the end?'

'I need to find out what happened as my mories of that incarnation of mine are still incomplete!'

In the tomb's eerie silence, Arthur calmly faced the skeletal guardian's powerful strike.

The flas in the eye sockets of the skeleton turned dark red and it's sword glowed and he attacked.

"Take this!"

*Boom!*

The air was split in two and a deathly sword energy headed for Arthur.

*Bang!*

Arthur struck with a sword strike of his own as he summoned his Sword Martial Spirit for this.

The general had attacked with Martial Emperor-level strength but Arthur stood firm.

The skeleton, wrapped in its past might, acknowledged Arthur's strength at his age but noted the significant gap that separated him from being a true emperor.

"You took that attack well, but it is not yet worthy of my Master yet."

Unfazed, the skeletal general unleashed an even greater force, reaching the peak stage of a Martial Emperor Realm cultivator's full powered attack.

*Boom!*

Arthur broke it with a strike of his own once more without taking a step back. But the area around him was already in shambles and a crater had ford beneath his feet.

"Hmm, you are strong enough to match the geniuses of old tis. Now for the third strike."

"Are you ready?"

"I am ready," Arthur replied calmly as he stirred up his essence energy and concentrated his power in his sword, determination fueling his every move.

The skeletal guardian, acknowledged the readiness with a nod, his flaming eyes gleaming.

The skeletal general initiated the next onslaught.

"This is a technique nad the Starlight Breaker."

It's sword began to glow with an ethereal purple light, descended upon Arthur.

And a purple sword energy attack silently arrives before Arthur.

*swift!*

'This technique! I rember it!'

In response, Arthur, tapping into the peak of his sword concept, t the attack head-on.

The clash resounded through the tomb, an explosive symphony of steel eting steel.

*Bang!*

"Huh? You were able to find the only weak point in that attack in such a short amount of ti?"

The skeleton general, couldn't help but be faintly surprised. Arthur's precision in striking the weak point of the attack showcased martial finesse transcending his years.

As the echoes of the clash reverberated, he, spoke with a solemn tone. "This technique, the Starlight Breaker, was once wielded by the elite force of the emperor."

"That was the first form of the technique. The second form which I am about to use is able kill a Martial Ancestor Realm cultivator from ancient tis."

"Do you dare take this strike of mine?"

*Boom!*

A purple light shot into the sky from the skeleton general's sword and Arthur smiled when he saw it.

'Back then I rember feeling that it was too flashy but so thought it to suit my image as the emperor.'

"I am ready. Let receive this sword strike."

"Alright, as you wish."

"Starlight Breaker: Second Form!"

*Slash!*

Arthur stood strong, using his peak sword concept. When the Starlight Breaker ca at him, he summoned Five-Colored lightning, and fused it with his sword intent and t th attack head on.

"Kaboom!*

Their clash caused a mighty shockwave and dismantled the surroundings.

*Crack!*

At this point a cracking sound was heard and the skeleton general was shocked to find that his amour was damaged.

"You managed to leave a dent on my armour? This amour...sigh..."

"You pass the test young one."

Arthur didn't display any emotion on hearing that but he asked a question instead.

"Can you take an attack from too?"

The skeleton general agreed, saying, "If you can."

Arthur grinned at the approval and then the sword in his hand shine with a purple light that shot into the sky!

"What? The Starlight Breaker Sword Technique?!" The skeleton general was shocked for the first ti.

"You have learnt this technique before?" It asked Arthur with narrowed...eye sockets?

Arthur didn't reply as the power of the purple light condensed more and it's dangerous aura intensifies.

"That's the second form!"

"You must have learnt this before now!" The skeleton comnted.

Arthur still didn't answer as the purple light shrank until it covered a few inches around his sword.

"This...the third form?"

"Impossible, only the generals could have learnt this and none of them left any inheritance before now?!"

"What in the..."

The next scene the skeleton saw almost quenched the flas in its eye sockets.

The purple light around the sword suddenly disappears and a terrifying silence brought everything to a standstill.

But the aura of the sword beca more chilling, as though it was going to be...

"Silent Killing Form...only the Emperor can..."

"Who are you?!"
