The ones responsible for this situation are the Ziwei Clan.
The Ziwei Clan is one of the prominent families on Miao Luo Star, controlling a significant portion of Dragon Star River’s economy and is renowned across Miao Luo Star.
The head of the Ziwei Clan is a top-tier Black Hole Level Cosmic Martial Artist, a powerhouse in the Dragon Star River, which is short of strong warriors, making him an elite figure.
Because of the clan’s strength, it held a commanding position on Miao Luo Star, unchallenged, but when they sensed sothing amiss, they discovered the ergence of a new family, the "Wang Group."
The inclusion of a new star is bound to disrupt the existing economic division, and the ripple effect on the Ziwei Clan was most apparent. Clearly, the existence of the Wang Group had already threatened their status. To counter this, they imdiately utilized every ans of power to nip this budding threat in the bud.
Under continuous exclusion and business attacks, the Wang Group was thrown into disarray.
As the highest authority of the Wang Group, Tang Yan was even more worried than others.
Fortunately, she had taken the Void Pill, extending her life to a hundred thousand years, allowing her to work tirelessly while staying spirited. However, various trivial matters and worries followed, with all pressures borne by her alone. Tang Yan’s body was not tired, but her heart was already so weary it couldn’t move.
Seeing Tang Yan overburdened, Wang Zhenguo and his wife were helpless and could only comfort her when she was tired, urging her not to focus too much on work. Tang Yan agreed with a smile, yet continued to work late every night.
"Yan’Er is already under enough pressure, and now with this happening, I’m afraid she won’t hold up," Lin Hui worriedly said.
"Alas, Xu’Er has been gone for seven hundred years, and everything has been on Yan’Er’s shoulders. It’s really been tough on her," Wang Zhenguo sighed helplessly.
Wang Tu remained silent. How could he not know his mother’s hardship? His father hadn’t returned since he left when Wang Tu was three, and now his mory of his father was blurred.
"Dad! Mom! I’m back!" Suddenly, a figure landed at the entrance, illuminated by a shining light, accompanied by a loud voice.
Wearing a black robe, with a resolute face revealing a warm and kind smile, who else could it be but Wang Xu?
"Xu’Er!"
Lin Hui spotted Wang Xu imdiately, her eyes turning red with tears of longing for her son as she stepped forward, gripping Wang Xu’s hand tightly, her expression animated.
Wang Zhenguo, upon seeing Wang Xu for the first ti, could hardly restrain the feelings of longing accumulated over seven hundred years. He stood up abruptly, but his expression changed when he saw the Ice Princess behind Wang Xu, turning stern as water, snorting loudly.
"Mom, after seven hundred years, you’ve beco younger," Wang Xu laughed. Previously, Wang Xu would have also been unable to hold back tears like Lin Hui, but his temperant had changed; he was no longer the boy who cried whenever he got emotional. He had grown up.
"Dad, you’re the sa. Looking at you, nobody could tell that you’re over seven hundred years old," Wang Xu smiled at his father, Wang Zhenguo.
Wang Zhenguo gave Wang Xu a sidelong glance without a kind expression. Wang Xu was puzzled, not knowing why his father, Wang Zhenguo, was angry again.
"Dad." At this mont, the tall and handso young Wang Tu, who had been staring at Wang Xu the whole ti, softly spoke.
Wang Xu’s heart stirred. He looked over, feeling the warmth of blood connection from the aura of this Upper Void Level young man.
"Wang Tu!" Wang Xu recognized the tall and handso young man standing before him as his own son, Wang Tu.
Years ago, Wang Xu had only spent three years with Wang Tu before being hurriedly invited to Tai Long Peak. Ti had already flown by, and in a blink, seven hundred years had passed. The once babbling child, who had just cut his teeth and naively called "Daddy" and "Mommy," had beco a tall, handso youth.
"Wang Tu!" Wang Xu stepped forward, embracing Wang Tu tightly, his heart filled with joy, but more so, guilt.
A joyous childhood, a tender adolescence, and Wang Xu wasn’t there with Wang Tu. He was not a responsible father, having failed to fulfill a father’s duties.
Wang Tu also felt sowhat estranged from Wang Xu, but the familiar aura from Wang Xu told him that this was his father—the man who once held him and flew freely in the sky.
In Wang Xu’s embrace, Wang Tu felt like a peaceful infant, with a sense of calm and safety, as if nothing could hurt him now, shielded by a protective barrier.
"Princess Bing Qing expresses greetings to Father Wang and Mother Wang." At this mont, a clear and pleasant voice ca. Princess Bing Qing stepped forward and elegantly bowed.
Wang Tu was puzzled; whose voice was that? He glanced casually, then was taken aback by the stunning beauty of the woman before him in a fiery red dress!
How beautiful!
"Bing Qing? What a beautiful girl, co sit down," Lin Hui recovered from her initial surprise and quickly invited Princess Bing Qing to sit, offering fruits and snacks to entertain the guest.
"Wang Xu, co with ," Wang Zhenguo instructed calmly, rolling up the newspaper and placing it behind him as he headed upstairs without looking back.
"Wang Tu, make sure to entertain our guests well," Wang Xu instructed before following closely behind.
...
Wang Xu and Wang Zhenguo arrived at the rooftop terrace of the highest floor. Wang Zhenguo suddenly turned around, throwing the newspaper harshly into Wang Xu.
"Dad, what’s wrong with you?" Wang Xu asked.
"You rascal, what do you have to say for yourself!" Wang Zhenguo’s face was gloomy. "Seven hundred years, you’ve been gone for seven hundred years, leaving our whole family in Yan’Er’s care. Fine, you can say that you were busy and couldn’t attend to us."
"But look at what you’ve done today! You dared to bring a woman into our ho, are you trying to anger to death on purpose?" Wang Zhenguo grew more agitated as he spoke, practically jumping in fury.
Wang Xu suddenly understood what was in Wang Zhenguo’s mind and hurried to explain, "Dad, you misunderstood!"
Imdiately, Wang Xu recounted the events at the National Hall, but he specifically omitted the fact that Princess Bing Qing had waited seven hundred years for him. Upon hearing, Wang Zhenguo’s anger finally eased quite a bit.
"She is a princess of the Cosmic Country!" Wang Zhenguo exclaid.
"That’s right, you’ve been overthinking it." Wang Xu said.
"So, you saved her multiple tis, and she was montarily impulsive, wanting to co to Earth for a visit and so fun?" Wang Zhenguo calmly asked.
"Exactly." Wang Xu let out a sigh of relief in his heart.
"That’s good... You know how Tang Yan is with you. No matter what happens, I will never allow you to abandon her, understand?" Wang Zhenguo stated solemnly.
"Dad, you don’t need to say it. I know better than you!" Wang Xu’s eyes were firm.
"Good to know!" Wang Zhenguo glared at Wang Xu, then slowly spoke after a mont, "Those seven hundred years... You must have suffered outside."
Wang Xu smiled, "It wasn’t suffering."
......
Night.
Brother Luo bid farewell to return to refine his array, and Tang Yan, who had been busy all day, returned ho.
"Tang Yan!" As soon as she walked in, the tired Tang Yan heard a familiar call, and her spirits lifted instantly. Following the voice, she saw the figure she had longed for hundreds of years.
"Wang Xu!" Tang Yan threw herself into Wang Xu’s arms, the strong woman facade collapsing instantly. Tears stread down her face like strings of water, embracing Wang Xu tightly, unwilling to let go.
"You suffered all these years." Wang Xu gently patted her shoulder, speaking softly.
The two reunited warmly, and everyone watching felt happy for them, except for Princess Bing Qing, who furrowed her brows and looked displeased.
"Who might this be?" Tang Yan noticed the exquisitely beautiful Princess Bing Qing and felt a jolt; her woman’s intuition told her this person was anything but ordinary!
"Hello, I am Tai Long Bing Qing." Princess Bing Qing extended her hand, a gesture Wang Xu had taught her: bow to elders, handshake with peers.
"Tang Yan." Tang Yan offered a gentle smile and added, "Wang Xu’s wife."
It was better not to say it; once said, Tang Yan could clearly feel Princess Bing Qing’s hand stiffen, and her gaze changed.
Wang Xu noticed faster than Tang Yan and imdiately separated the two, leading Tang Yan to take a seat.
Fortunately, although Princess Bing Qing was prone to causing trouble, she could read the situation, quietly eating while listening to Wang Xu’s family chatter and laugh, joining in softly without any unnecessary actions.
"By the way, where’s father-in-law? I haven’t seen him around." Wang Xu asked at the table.
"Dad has already gone to Miao Luo Star to take charge of the situation there," Tang Yan replied helplessly.
Before the great transformation of Earth, Tang Tian was the Patriarch of the Tang Family. Now with a lifespan of ten thousand years, he was unwillingly idle, aiming to establish a new venture, and the inception of the Wang Group was his idea.
The Wang Group soared on Earth, possessing the most powerful networks and resources, rising completely in just a year to beco Earth’s largest corporation, covering nurous fields.
Having reached the pinnacle on Earth, Tang Tian naturally set his sights on the endless cosmos beyond.
And so, Tang Tian, unwilling to remain idle, embarked once more on a cosmic journey.
There’s no denying Tang Tian’s remarkable talent. The Wang Group quickly gained a foothold on Miao Luo Star, thodically building a foundation, yet despite the group’s discretion, it still caught the attention of Miao Luo Star’s major clans.
"Is such a thing happening?" Hearing about the suppression and comrcial attacks on the Wang Group, Wang Xu frowned.
"Right now, with Qiu Tuyi guarding, we can still hold on a while longer on Miao Luo Star. But once those clans fully unite, we’ll have no options left," Tang Yan sighed.
"You don’t need to worry about this matter anymore. Leave it all to ," Wang Xu’s gaze was sharp.
Wang Xu wanted to see what kind of formidable force the Ziwei Clan actually was! (To be continued. If you like this work, please co to Qidian (qidian) to vote for recomndations, monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read at m.qidian.)
