Chapter 804: The Venerable Ones Rescue
“Boom...”
An earth-shattering sound ca from above. Accompanied by the giant claws with unparalleled montum, it was as though the whole universe would be overturned.
Li Xin’s face changed. He scoffed and lifted his hand right away, causing blood lights to surge around him and condense into a giant red palm that struck toward the sky.
The palm and the claws clashed instantly. An unequaled impact wave spread in all directions and resulted in a deafening sound in the air.
This was a collision between 2 top-grade Venerable Ones. The universe’s spiritual powers that they maneuvered could not be imagined by ordinary people at all. Instead of their powers, it was the universe’s powers that they drew from the boundless void that collided at this mont.
The layers of clouds in the sky dispersed as a result. If one looked from away, it seed like a massive hole had been ford in the sky.
Li Xin’s body trembled slightly, and his eyes were filled with an extrely dangerous and ferocious look. Nonetheless, he did not continue to be entangled with the threat in the sky; he shook his wrist and released a surging power downward.
He had been holding back when he dealt with Ou Yangming, where he did not force and attack even when he released the blood lines with the devouring power. This was because he wanted the young fellow to be intact as he wanted to strip the powers of his Heavenly Phoenix Fire and the giant head as much as possible.
However, Li Xin could not be bothered anymore now that he was being threatened by the formidable enemy above him.
Even if Ou Yangming ended up being severely injured, it would be much better than him leaving empty-handed.
With that, Li Xin oppressed with his power as a top-grade Venerable One, making it seem like the space underneath him was crumbling. Regardless of Ou Yangming’s abilities, he would probably be helpless at this ti. After all, there was a huge disparity between them, so much so that the gap could not be made up for.
Ou Yangming’s face changed. He could sense a strong crisis, and it was a power that could not be resisted by him at all.
Under the imnse pressure, his energy, essence, and spirit were forced to reach higher levels.
Any living being would have sharp senses in life-or-death monts, but so of them would collapse due to the pressure, by which they could only watch their dooms befell them without being able to do anything else. Even so, so living beings could withstand enormous pressures, and the greater the pressures, the stronger they would be to resist them.
Taking springs as an example, the greater the external forces, the more they could bounce.
As at this mont, Ou Yangming was staring at the blood lines that were squeezing in.
At this instant, he even had a peculiar feeling where ti seed to have slowed down.
The fully charged blood lines that were swallowing him up were actually as fast as lightning, but they beca as slow as snails from his perspective. In fact, he could even notice the uneven gaps between 2 blood lines due to their movents.
Inside Ou Yangming’s sea of consciousness, the Heavenly Phoenix Fire and the giant head also beca violent as they were being threatened.
The 2 powerful energies initially had their respective zones without interfering with each other as if an invisible barrier had separated them.
Nevertheless, they took the initiative to interact with each other this ti and rged at once.
Ou Yangming had an unusually strange expression on his face. Even during this crucial mont, he was struck with a weird thought.
‘Have these 2 dissimilar powers actually gained intelligence?’
Just as the Heavenly Phoenix Fire and the giant head fused and transford into a skull that was enveloped by a scorching fla, the environnt in the outside world changed drastically.
The ground beneath Ou Yangming cracked, and a small tree erged.
Ti had lost its aning on this small tree as it grew from a seedling into a big tree that was much taller than Ou Yangming in the blink of an eye. The tree was covered in queer rattans, which had pretty flowers blooming on them.
Ou Yangming’s eyelids twitched. The fire skull that was ford in his sea of consciousness stopped.
Life—Ou Yangming sensed incredibly strong life the mont the big tree appeared, and he found the aura to be very familiar.
For so reason, the sense of danger left him. He could not help but exhale deeply because since the being had co, he was definitely safe.
Next, the Heavenly Phoenix Fire and the giant head split up in his sea of consciousness. Unlike how they were going hand-in-hand intimately earlier, they returned to their territories as though they were resisting and were alert of each other.
“Pow...”
While Ou Yangming was astonished, the big tree’s rattans clashed with the blood lines around it, causing a series of loud firecracker-like sounds to be heard.
Countless blood lines wanted to restrain Ou Yangming, but they were blocked by the big tree that appeared out of nowhere before they could get close.
The big tree stood proudly in the valley and transford into an unshakable pillar to protect Ou Yangming strictly.
Li Xin glared down while his body was surrounded by surging blood lights, making him look like a furious deity.
It was then he realized that the turbulence and the great montum above him were only to draw his attention.
Soone else was rescuing Ou Yangming down there.
Li Xin flashed and was about to zoom down as endless blood lights gathered around him. He wanted to let the person below know how tragically one would end if one snatched sothing away from him.
Despite that, after having just descended several ters, a trendously harsh sound of the wind was heard. The whistling wind seed to carry tangible killing intent as if a tall mountain was incoming.
Li Xin was a top-grade Venerable One, but he felt a tingling sensation on his scalp at this mont. He had goosebumps as if he was being stared at by a fierce beast, hence he dared not be careless at all.
He roared and halted as though his body was nailed to the air, then he extended his hands, where nurous changes were happening in between. Before long, an extensive net was ford in the void, and it blocked whatever was about to co.
When the drifting blood lines ca into contact with the invisible fist intent, the air around them seed to have beco distorted. If one were to look from afar, one would surely see that the space here had suddenly turned into a black hole. Things would only be sucked in without being able to leave as they would be turned into nothing.
Li Xin’s mouth twitched. He stared ahead and no longer had ti to care about Ou Yangming, who was below.
Sowhere in front of him, the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One was also floating proudly in mid-air. It fixed its gaze on Li Xin and uttered heroically, “I’m your opponent!”
Li Xin narrowed his eyes and questioned coldly, “10,000 Beasts Venerable One, you have nothing to do with the Phoenixes, so why are you getting involved?”
He was sinister and domineering, but he was not really crazy. As such, he was rather calm when he faced equal-ranked or even mightier opponents.
The 10,000 Beasts Venerable One laughed madly and stared at him. “Can you Sky-devouring Evil Remnants control what I want to do? Since you dared to hurt Elder Macaque, you’ve beco the 10,000 Beasts Ridge’s enemy. Now, die!”
As it roared, its body imdiately expanded like an inflated rubber ball.
It took only a split second for the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One to beco a humongous ape that was much larger than Multi-ard King Kong and similar to a small mountain. Its thick fur that covered its body beca as fearso as spears, which could frighten one easily. Moreover, its montum surged into the sky, and it could blot out the sky with its giant claws.
“Woosh...”
The giant claws grabbed down. Each of the Venerable One’s fingers was much wider than a normal person’s body, and the valiant energies that flowed out from its claws made it seem like it was going to tear the space apart.
Li Xin’s eyes flickered. He was also a monster of his era. Since no explanations could be done, he decided to have a real fight against the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One.
As he took a deep breath, the blood lights around him beca denser. Following that, he flashed and broke free from the space that was sealed by the giant claws, where he managed to fight his way out.
The only thing was that Li Xin was simply tiny as compared to the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One at the mont. It would not be easy for the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One to catch him, but his attacks against it would unquestionably be similar to tickles, which would be ineffective.
A completely unsymtrical fight was going on between the big and small top-grade Venerable Ones.
Ou Yangming was dazed as he watched from below. He was quivering a little.
‘So this is the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One’s real build!
‘No wonder it could give birth to a mountainous son like Multi-ard King Kong. It can change its build as it wishes because its body changed after it beca a Venerable One.’
Having said that, Ou Yangming was truly shocked by the valiant strengths of the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One and Li Xin.
They could trigger the universe’s power easily, and their violent powers surged such that the world was affected and was about to end.
‘This is the true powers of top-grade Venerable Ones.’
Ou Yangming smiled bitterly and thought, ‘If this terrifying Sky-devouring Evil Remnant went all-out from the start and attacked without bothering about my life, I probably couldn’t have escaped at all.’
“Boom...”
Another thunderous sound was heard. Li Xin’s body was finally struck by the repercussion of the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One’s punch, and he flew far away like a kite with a broken string.
After stopping in the air, Li Xin’s face turned so dark that water was going to drip from his face. He yelled, “You ignorant thing!”
“Rumble...”
The void around him exploded as forceful energies gathered. Once they were within roughly 33 ters from him, they turned into dense blood mists that gushed toward him. In just a brief mont, with his body as the center, the mists ford a 330-ters-tall bloody person that was much taller than the 10,000 Beasts Venerable One.
