Yuki's trial of mory. Nogitsune's trial of self.

---

Yuki's Side:

The sealed corridor warps with every step Yuki takes. mories not his own flicker along the walls—glimpses of ancient battles, lost mythic realms, and a burning city that feels too familiar.

Then he sees it.

A small child—alone—trapped in a collapsing shrine, crying out for soone who never ca.

It's him.

But... not just him.

"Why am I seeing this...?"

"Because it's your truth," a voice answers, echoing in the dark. "The part you left behind to survive."

Yuki stares as the shrine fades into void. And in the center, the Eidolon appears—not in its monstrous form, but as a figure cloaked in shadows, wearing a fox mask that mirrors Yuki's eyes.

"You were born from fire and void," it says, "but mory is your true prison. Show you are more than your past."

---

Nogitsune's Side:

Back in the chamber, Nogitsune stands across from the Reflection—a twisted version of himself cloaked in illusions of power and regret.

> "You hid your brother from the world. Lied to him. Built an entire illusion for him to grow in... why?" the Reflection taunts.

"To protect him."

"No. You were afraid. Afraid of what he'd beco if he ever rembered you."

A flurry of dark wind erupts. The Reflection fights using all of Nogitsune's old techniques—his crueler strategies, his manipulative tone.

But Nogitsune doesn't falter.

He steps forward, dismissing an illusion with a simple wave.

"I made peace with what I was. I'm here to make sure he doesn't beco this."

The chamber shakes.

Both trials reach a climax—truth clashing with fear, mory with shadow.

---

Far above the sealed corridors, in the heart of the mythic realm, the rest of the group sits in uneasy silence.

Ren's wings twitch as he stares into the night sky, sharp eyes narrowing as a strange ripple shudders through the air.

"Did you feel that?" he mutters.

Aiko, sitting beside a quiet Himari, shivers.

"Their energies... They're shifting. Yuki's aura feels... unstable."

Haru stands, looking toward the fla-bound door. His fists clench.

"It's like sothing's testing them. Not just power—but their very identities."

Kai, holding a warm bowl of ran, blinks.

"Can't they just punch their way out of the problem like usual?"

Himari gives a tired smile.

"Not this ti. This trial isn't ant to hurt them... It's ant to see if they deserve what's next."

They sit in silence as the mythic wind blows. Sowhere deep below, the trials continue—and the fate of their bonds, their story, and maybe the entire mythic balance... hangs in the stillness.

Just as the wind settles, Himari's eyes widen for a mont—pupils narrowing like a fox's.

"Wait..."

Everyone turns to her, but she doesn't speak right away.

A single black feather drifts down from the sky above—burning at the edges, glowing faintly with symbols no one recognizes.

Ren catches it midair. His hand trembles.

"This... this doesn't belong to ."

Far beneath them, within the sealed corridor, a second figure watches Yuki's trial from the farthest edge of mory. No aura. No sound.

Just a presence.

Its form flickers—half-child, half-shadow, eyes gleaming like mirrors.

And then it vanishes... just before Yuki turns.

---

The sealed door groaned as it parted, light and shadow bleeding through the widening crack. Yuki stepped forward first, his hand still faintly glowing from when he touched the orb. The others followed, tension rising with every step.

But instead of a chamber filled with treasure or danger, they were greeted by... silence. A vast space stretched ahead, shifting like a dream. The walls seed to breathe, flickering with fragnts of mory—scenes not their own, but echoes of a forgotten age.

Ren's eyes narrowed.

"This isn't a place... it's a mind."

Suddenly, voices whispered in the dark.

"He's co. He touched the fla."

"Will he rember?"

"Will we?"

Then sothing blinked into existence—no form, just presence. The Eidolon was not waiting in a throne or standing before them—it was the space itself. Watching. Listening. Testing.

Nogitsune placed a hand on Yuki's shoulder.

"Whatever happens, don't look away."

The space shimred like heat off stone, yet there was no warmth—only the heavy stillness of awareness. Yuki stepped further in, his boots leaving no sound against the ground that felt like mist pretending to be solid. All around them, fragnts hovered—mories not their own, scenes flickering like broken film.

A woman in white, weeping in a field of fireflies.

A beast rising from a sea of bones.

A child laughing with no mouth.

A mirror reflecting sothing with too many eyes.

Kai reached for a mory shard—only to recoil.

"That... that was . But it never happened..."

The Eidolon was not showing them visions.

It was reconstructing them from fears and forgotten thoughts—turning truth, lies, and possibility into living illusions.

Ren growled, fists clenched.

"This thing... it's rewriting what's real."

Yuki's voice was steady.

"No. It's testing what's real... through us."

Suddenly, the whispers beca coherent—directed.

> "Kitsune. You who walk both shadow and shape.

You who were made not by birth, but design.

Are you ready to rember?"

A single fla ignited in the center of the vast space. Blue, ancient, silent.

Nogitsune narrowed his eyes.

"That fla... it isn't fire. It's mory."

And Yuki felt it—sothing inside him cracking open.

The seal his powers had placed on himself.

The reason he couldn't rember everything about his aunt...

Why he always felt watched but never knew by who.

Why his powers always felt slightly too big for the world around him.

He stepped toward the fla.

> "Then co," the Eidolon whispered.

"And I shall make you whole... or I shall break you beautifully."

"If you're enjoying the ride, don't forget to leave a power stone or a comnt—it really helps this grow!"
