Chapter 731: Chapter 696: Once The Number One Demon_1
After everyone else had left, Feng Yun turned to Qin Feiyang and coldly ordered, "Close the door!"
"How odd."
"This is our alchemy room. Why are you giving orders here?"
Fatty frowned. Is this guy getting too pushy, thinking he can just walk all over us?
"Your alchemy room?" Feng Yun sneered. "Let
tell you, all the alchemy rooms on this first floor are mine. I can do whatever I want. Understand?"
Feng Yun swept his gaze over the two of them, his arrogance palpable.
"So domineering?" Fatty grinned, took out an Image Crystal Stone, and said, "Co on, repeat what you just said."
"Are you looking for death?" Feng Yun’s eyes turned cold. The other party was clearly trying to record his words.
Although every floor of the Martial Palace and Elixir Palace was controlled by the scions of the Marquises, these were unofficial arrangents. The higher-ups in the Temple had long known about this phenonon, but they turned a deaf ear, not bothering to interfere. However, if things truly escalated, those involved would undoubtedly face severe consequences. Therefore, Feng Yun was quite wary of Fatty’s ploy.
"Not at all!" Fatty scoffed. "Then what are you acting so arrogant for? If you have sothing to say, say it quickly. Don’t waste our ti."
He dared to curse even the Thirteenth Prince, let alone a re scion of a Marquis.
Feng Yun shot Fatty a cold glare, then turned to Qin Feiyang. "Perhaps you don’t know who the powerful figures backing us scions of the Marquises are?"
"Can you stop beating around the bush?" Fatty waved his hand impatiently. "Isn’t it just the various Princes? Just tell us who’s backing you. Let’s see if you can scare us."
"What? You already know?" Feng Yun was stunned. Didn’t these two just arrive at the Temple recently? How could they know about such things?
Fatty’s patience was wearing thin. "Are you going to say it or not? If not, get lost!" he roared.
"You..." Feng Yun seethed, infuriated by the repeated offenses.
But in the end, he suppressed his anger and said, "The one backing
is His Highness the Thirteenth Prince."
"Huh?" Fatty was taken aback and looked at Qin Feiyang, who also seed surprised.
Fatty transmitted ntally, "Boss, how co both Feng Yun and Lin Dian are the Thirteenth Prince’s n?"
Qin Feiyang ntally replied, "It’s not that complicated. Both the Martial Palace and Elixir Palace have a hundred floors. In other words, there are at least two hundred scions of the Marquises in these two places combined. But there are only about a dozen Princes. Naturally, many people end up pledging loyalty to the sa Prince."
"That makes sense," Fatty nodded in understanding, then added, "But wait, in such a vast Imperial Palace, how can there be only a dozen or so Princes?"
"You’d have to ask the Emperor about that; having children is his affair," Qin Feiyang transmitted. "However, when I was banished from the Imperial Capital, there were indeed only fifteen Princes. I don’t know if more have been born since then."
Fatty transmitted, "So, you have another younger brother?"
"Yes," Qin Feiyang confird ntally. "He’s five years younger than . We had a pretty good relationship. He was quite young back then and very clingy. But he’s grown up now; I don’t know what he’s like."
Fatty transmitted, "He’s probably beco rcenary too!"
"Perhaps!" Qin Feiyang muttered. Honestly, being born into the imperial family changes people. No matter how kind-hearted soone is initially, they eventually transform. Of course, there are always exceptions. I can’t make any definitive judgnt about my fifteenth brother until I see him in person.
"Another question," Fatty pondered aloud. "How can a hundred sons of Marquises control two hundred alchemy rooms and cultivation rooms? Shouldn’t one person be in charge of two floors?"
How could each Marquis possibly have only one son? Besides, even if it’s a single heir, don’t their families have other junior mbers? This Fatty... when he’s sharp, he knows everything, but when he’s slow, he’s like a pig. His intellect is so erratic! Qin Feiyang thought with a touch of exasperation.
"Oh, I see!" Fatty nodded, suddenly enlightened, then chuckled sheepishly.
Throughout this entire exchange, Feng Yun hadn’t uttered a word. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to speak; he was so angry he didn’t know what to say. It’s obvious these two are having a private conversation using so secret thod! That’s what infuriates
the most! They’re talking amongst themselves right in front of , treating
like thin air! This is blatant contempt!
When Qin Feiyang and Fatty looked at Feng Yun again, they imdiately understood his frustration.
Fatty grinned. "Sorry, we thought you’d already left!"
Fatty’s remark was the spark. Feng Yun’s anger, which he had been struggling to control, finally erupted.
"Bastard, I’ll cripple you!" he roared, completely forgetting the Temple’s rules, and threw a punch at Fatty.
"Wait," Fatty quickly gestured with his hand.
"What? Scared now?" Feng Yun sneered. His strength was considerable; he was a Three Star War Ancestor.
However, to Feng Yun’s astonishnt, Fatty once again took out the Image Crystal Stone, grinning. "Alright, you can co at
now."
"PFFT!" Overco with rage, Feng Yun spat out a mouthful of blood. He glared at Fatty, his eyes burning with a murderous light, as if he wanted to devour him. Right now, he desperately wished he could tear Fatty limb from limb! But with the Image Crystal Stone recording everything, he didn’t dare make a move.
"Not going to fight? Don’t be such a bore! If you’re a man, then co on!" Fatty continued to provoke him, utterly shaless. Feng Yun was so enraged he felt his lungs might explode.
Don’t be rash! Stay calm! he muttered to himself, finally managing to suppress the inferno in his heart.
But then, Fatty did sothing that completely baffled him.
"All talk and no action? Are you even a man? Co, co, let Master Fatty verify it for you." Fatty jeered, then executed the Step of Unification, darting forward and yanking down Feng Yun’s pants in one swift motion.
"Uh-oh, the little bird’s about to fly!" Fatty then let out a gleeful, mocking cry and quickly retreated to Qin Feiyang’s side.
"PFFT!" Qin Feiyang burst out laughing. This Feng Yun is too slow! He didn’t even react to his pants being pulled down!
The disciples hiding outside the door were also laughing so hard that tears stread down their faces. However, they all covered their mouths to muffle their laughter, their faces flushed red from the effort.
"AHHH..."
"You scum! I’ll kill you!"
Finally, Feng Yun snapped back to reality. With a furious roar, he completely lost control, pulled up his pants, and charged recklessly at Fatty.
Fatty smirked contemptuously, pointed towards the doorway, and shouted, "The Law Enforcent Hall is here!"
"What?" Feng Yun jolted and quickly spun around. But apart from the disciples hiding outside, there was no one from the Law Enforcent Hall in sight.
However, the shout had sobered him up instantly. No matter how great the humiliation, he couldn’t fight here. Otherwise, his life would be forfeit.
WHOOSH!
Feng Yun whirled back to face Fatty, his voice grim. "You just wait!"
"Why do all you scions of Marquises like to say that sa line? Is it supposed to be scary?" Fatty said, picking his ear with an air of indifference.
"Go on, be arrogant while you can!" A murderous glint flashed in Feng Yun’s eyes. Then, with a dark expression, he turned and walked out. Having had his trousers pulled down, how could he possibly stay and retain any dignity?
"Feng Yun, honestly, compared to Lin Dian, you’re nothing in the Thirteenth Prince’s eyes," Qin Feiyang said coolly at this mont.
"What do you an?" Feng Yun’s eyebrow twitched as he turned back to look at Qin Feiyang.
"You don’t know?" Qin Feiyang said. "The Thirteenth Prince has known for a long ti that I can concoct the Potential Elixir. He even ca to find
personally."
"Is that true?" Feng Yun’s brow furrowed tightly.
"Of course," Qin Feiyang replied. "If you don’t believe , go ask Lin Dian. But I have to wonder why the Thirteenth Prince didn’t tell you. Could it be he intends to exclude you?" His words were laced with insinuation.
"Damn it!" Feng Yun cursed under his breath, then turned and left without a backward glance.
Fatty frowned and transmitted ntally, "Boss, will this tactic of sowing discord actually work?"
"Of course, it will," Qin Feiyang chuckled ntally. "Even if Feng Yun doesn’t turn on them, he’ll surely harbor resentnt. It might even bring us so unexpected surprises later on."
Fatty nodded thoughtfully.
"Brilliant, brilliant."
Just then, a hearty laugh sounded from outside.
Shortly after, a young man dressed in black clothes walked slowly into the alchemy room.
He was about 1.8 ters tall, with long, pale golden hair. His features were refined, like jade, and he carried himself with an elegant, graceful deanor. He held a folding fan, exuding an air of scholarly refinent.
"He’s here too!" The disciples outside the door watched the golden-haired youth’s back as he entered, their pupils constricting. They appeared quite wary of him.
"All of you, disperse!" The golden-haired youth casually waved his folding fan. The crowd outside imdiately responded respectfully and began to file out towards the main entrance.
Wow, he’s so commanding! Both Qin Feiyang and Fatty were inwardly astonished by the scene.
Fatty transmitted ntally, "Boss, who is he?"
Qin Feiyang responded ntally, "He looks familiar, but I can’t quite place him."
"The scions of the various Marquises have controlled the Elixir Palace and Martial Palace for so long; their power is deeply entrenched," the golden-haired youth said with a smile. "Here, they are virtually kings, and no one has ever dared to oppose them. Yet, Brother Qin, and this Brother Situ, first you humiliated Lin Dian, then you defied the Thirteenth Prince, and now you’ve treated Feng Yun in such a manner. I am truly in awe of your courage."
How does he know everything? Fatty was surprised.
Qin Feiyang studied the golden-haired youth and asked warily, "And you are?"
The golden-haired youth snapped his folding fan shut, cupped his hands in a salute, and said, "I am Zhuge Mingyang. It is a pleasure to et Brother Qin and Brother Situ."
Qin Feiyang frowned, then, as if a mory struck him, he exclaid, "You’re Zhuge Mingyang?"
"Indeed, it is I," Zhuge Mingyang replied with a nod and a smile.
Fatty transmitted ntally, "Boss, judging by your tone, this guy is a big deal?"
"Not just a big deal; he’s a very big deal," Qin Feiyang transmitted back. "Back when I was still in the Imperial Capital, he was already a Two-star War Ancestor and a disciple of the Temple. In those days, his na was known by everyone throughout the Imperial Capital."
"Is it that serious?" Fatty was incredulous. "Is it because of his family background, or sothing else?"
"It’s a bit of both," Qin Feiyang explained ntally. "Actually, among the Hundred Marquises in the Imperial Capital, so are stronger and so are weaker. The most powerful of them all is called Martial Marquis Zhuge. This Martial Marquis Zhuge had only one son, a child born to him late in life. That son is Zhuge Mingyang. Because he was a child of Martial Marquis Zhuge’s old age, he doted on him excessively, so no one dared to provoke Zhuge Mingyang.
"However, Zhuge Mingyang never abused his father’s na to act recklessly. On the contrary, he kept a very low profile, was humble, and often helped others. Moreover, both his intellect and innate talent far surpassed those of ordinary people. Let
put it this way: before I was even born, he was renowned as the Imperial Capital’s foremost prodigy."
I never expected that this forr number one prodigy would actually seek
out, Qin Feiyang thought.
