Dong Zhengyang paused, then frowned. "Are you sure about now?"

"Rescue soone?" Dong Zhengyang was taken aback.
"That’s right." Qin Feiyang nodded.
The Nine-Star War Emperors and War Ancestors from You State were currently tied down by the people from Void State, leaving only Eight-Star War Emperors on guard. Although there were twenty Eight-Star War Emperors, they posed no real threat to Qin Feiyang. Moreover, their side had three one-star War Ancestors: Dong Zhengyang, Shen Long, and Jian Wei. With their combined strength, dealing with a group of Eight-Star War Emperors would be more than manageable.
Understanding Qin Feiyang’s intentions, Dong Zhengyang naturally had no further objections.
The two of them quietly withdrew, circled around Wan Chou and the others, and headed to the rear of the battlefield to search for tracks. The greatest advantage in the Netherworld was that no matter how fast soone ran, they would always leave footprints. Even if there were no distinct footprints, there would be other traces.
Soon, Qin Feiyang found a large number of footprints. Following the trail for a short while, they discovered a small canyon hundreds of ters away.
Two n in white guarded the canyon entrance. Both had the word ’You’ embroidered on their chests—they were people from You State.
A cold glint flashed in Dong Zhengyang’s eyes as he whispered, "You wait here. I’ll go kill them all!"
"Don’t." Qin Feiyang hurriedly stopped him, shaking his head. "We’re not far from Wan Chou. If they cry out for help, Wan Chou will surely hear them. So, we must kill them by surprise, giving them no chance to utter a sound."
"Makes sense." Dong Zhengyang nodded, but then his expression faltered, and he asked in surprised disbelief, "Are you still planning to deal with the people from You State?"
He had assud that after witnessing Wan Chou’s strength, Qin Feiyang would give up on troubling You State for the ti being. But from Qin Feiyang’s words now, it seed he hadn’t given up. If he had, Qin Feiyang wouldn’t be so cautious; he would simply rescue the person and leave. Even if Wan Chou pursued them, he might not be able to catch up.
"How can we let them off without making them pay a price?" Qin Feiyang sneered.
"Huh!" Dong Zhengyang was stunned; Qin Feiyang had confird his suspicion.
What was that saying about so people? ’Knowing full well the mountain harbors tigers, yet still venturing towards the tiger-infested mountain.’ Qin Feiyang was exactly that kind of person. Utterly audacious!
He sighed inwardly. "Then let’s make the arrangents quickly," he whispered.
Qin Feiyang instructed, "You wait here. The mont you hear a commotion inside the canyon, take action."
Dong Zhengyang nodded.
Qin Feiyang surveyed the valley. Aside from the entrance, the other three sides were sheer mountains, hundreds of zhang high, covered in lush ancient trees and overgrown wild grass.
Qin Feiyang circled around to the foot of the mountain on the left and, like an agile monkey, quickly climbed to the summit. Positioning himself behind a thicket of shrubs, he peered down into the canyon below.
The situation inside the canyon imdiately ca into view. It was a small canyon, perhaps three to four hundred ters long, littered with many broken rocks. Green wild grass grew in the crevices between the stones, swaying in the gentle breeze that blew in from the entrance.
Ren Wushuang and the others were in the center of the canyon, sitting back-to-back. So glared angrily at the You State mbers, others sat in despairing silence, while a few whispered amongst themselves.
As for the twenty Eight-Star War Emperors from You State, apart from the two guarding the entrance, the remaining eighteen were gathered around Ren Wushuang and her group.
"Do you think Senior Brother Wan Chou and the others can win?"
"I’ve been wondering about that too. Although Void State has fewer people than our You State, their overall strength is a notch above ours."
"Exactly. Especially those twin sisters. The aura they give off feels similar to Senior Brother Wan Chou’s; they’re probably Two-Star War Ancestors too."
Three young n discussed this, their expressions filled with worry.
"You’re worrying needlessly, you know?"
"So what if they’re Two-Star War Ancestors?"
"Don’t forget, our Senior Brother Wan Chou has mastered a perfect auxiliary combat technique! No matter how strong they are, they’ll only end up being thrashed."
"Indeed! Forget one Void State; even if several more states ca, Senior Brother Wan Chou could handle them easily with his abilities."
Imdiately, others joined the discussion with disdainful confidence.
Qin Feiyang observed all of this, a sense of pity rising in him for these people. They were far too reliant on Wan Chou. If Wan Chou were to leave, or worse, die in battle, the others from You State would be utterly lost, unable to cause any significant stir. But killing Wan Chou was no simple feat either.
With a wave of Qin Feiyang’s hand, Shen Long, Jian Wei, and the Wolf King appeared out of thin air.
Qin Feiyang pointed to the canyon below. "Shen i is down there."
Shen Long glanced down. Upon seeing Shen i, bloodstained and utterly wretched, murderous intent instantly blazed in his eyes.
Qin Feiyang then looked at the Wolf King. "You go down first and await my command."
"Piece of cake," the Wolf King chuckled. Its palm-sized body darted into the undergrowth, quickly entering the canyon and concealing itself in a rock crevice not far from Ren Wushuang and the others.
After about a hundred breaths, Qin Feiyang withdrew his gaze and looked at Jian Wei and Shen Long. "It must be a one-hit kill."
"We heard your conversation with Dong Zhengyang from inside," Jian Wei said.
"Rest assured," Shen Long added, his voice equally cold. "They’re just a group of Eight-Star War Emperors. We won’t give them a chance to speak."
Qin Feiyang nodded, then waved his hand and commanded, "Attack!"
WHOOSH!!
Shen Long and Jian Wei imdiately shot downwards towards the canyon floor.
"Huh?"
They made no effort to conceal their approach, so before they even landed, the people from You State, as well as Ren Wushuang and her group, had spotted them.
But their reactions were starkly different.
Ren Wushuang and the others’ faces lit up with joy. So even cried tears of happiness.
However, when the You State mbers saw the word ’Spirit’ on Shen Long’s and Jian Wei’s chests, they turned pale with fright!
"Why are people from Spirit State here?"
"Their auras are incredibly strong! They must be War Ancestors! Quick, call for Senior Brother Wan Chou’s help!"
The group descended into panic. A few who were slightly calr imdiately tried to call for help.
But the Wolf King, lurking in the rock crevice, gave them no such opportunity. The instant Shen Long and Jian Wei were spotted, it burst forth using its Evacuation Step, its two small claws gripping a pair of ghastly white rib bones.
The Evacuation Step was a perfect combat technique! Its current cultivation was Nine-Star War Emperor, and it was even half a step into the War Ancestor realm! One could only imagine how astonishing its speed was.
In less than half a blink of an eye, it was before two Eight-Star War Emperors, swinging the rib bones at their heads.

With a sickening crunch, the two n’s heads exploded on the spot, blood splattering everywhere! After dispatching them, it imdiately lunged towards the next person.

Suddenly, a cold voice sounded from the forest ahead.
"Who is it?" The two guards were startled.
Following the voice, they saw a white figure dart out from the woods, rushing straight towards them. And it was incredibly fast! Even with their eyesight, they couldn’t make out the person’s true appearance.
In the blink of an eye, the white figure was only a dozen ters away. Now, they could finally see the person’s face clearly—and the word ’Spirit’ emblazoned on his chest!
It was soone from Spirit State!
The two were instantly horrified and prepared to call for help. But the man gave them no chance. His hands shot out like eagle talons, seizing their necks and twisting sharply!

Their necks snapped instantly.

Then, both n crumpled to the ground, dead.
That’s right. This person was Dong Zhengyang.
After killing the two guards, Dong Zhengyang didn’t linger and rushed straight into the canyon.
The battle within the canyon had already concluded. All eighteen Eight-Star War Emperors lay in pools of blood, most with their heads smashed open. The grueso scene was enough to make one’s skin crawl.

Ren Wushuang, standing beside her, also observed Shen Long with a curious expression. Evidently, she was aware of the history between Shen i and Shen Long.
Seeing the reactions of the two won, Shen Long sighed inwardly, walked over to Shen i, and said with a smile, "Little sister, I was wrong in the past. I apologize. From now on, I will protect you."

Ren Wushuang glanced at Dong Zhengyang and Jian Wei, then turned to the Wolf King and asked, "Where is Qin Feiyang?"
"We were the ones who rescued you, so why aren’t you asking about us first?" the Wolf King said with a sly grin. "Co on, fess up. Do you have designs on Xiao Qinzi? Don’t say Brother Wolf here didn’t warn you: Xiao Qinzi is already taken. He can’t possibly fall for another woman. Of course, if you insist on throwing yourself at him, I’ll support you. After all, it’s best to keep things within the family!"
Ren Wushuang paused. Taken? When did Qin Feiyang get married? How co she didn’t know?
