Chapter 467: Chapter 467 Dong Qing’s Decision_1

War Ancestor—a realm yearned for by all.

However, an insurmountable chasm lay between a Nine-Star War Emperor and a War Ancestor.

Otherwise, State City wouldn’t have so many Nine-Star War Emperors yet only a handful of War Ancestors.

Although Dong Zhengyang was confident that his talent could help him reach the War Ancestor realm, it would require ti. Moreover, as he progressed, so did the mysterious War Ancestor. Therefore, if he could break through to War Ancestor now, it would undoubtedly save him a great deal of ti and help close the gap.

However, Dong Zhengyang also had his concerns. This Qin Feiyang is cunning and crafty, he mused. Cooperating with him is like bargaining with a tiger for its hide. What if I get tricked by him halfway through?

Qin Feiyang said nonchalantly, "If you don’t cooperate with , I’ll find soone else. I believe many people would want to work with ."

Dong Zhengyang pondered for a mont, then nodded. "Alright, we’ll cooperate, but I have one condition."

"Na it," Qin Feiyang said.

Dong Zhengyang stated, "During our cooperation, neither side is allowed to stab the other in the back."

"That’s a given," Qin Feiyang nodded. "Besides, you’re about to step into the War Ancestor realm, so I wouldn’t be able to hurt you even if I wanted to."

"Can you really help

reach the War Ancestor realm imdiately?" Dong Zhengyang asked, surprised and skeptical.

"Just wait a mont."

Qin Feiyang entered the ancient castle, began alchemy, and soon reappeared with a Nine-Bend Yellow Dragon Pill. He handed it to Dong Zhengyang, saying, "Take this. You’ll break through in less than half a day."

A bright glint flashed in Dong Zhengyang’s eyes. However, as he held the Nine-Bend Yellow Dragon Pill, he hesitated to consu it.

Qin Feiyang said, "Don’t worry, it’s not poisonous."

But Dong Zhengyang still hesitated to put it in his mouth.

"Though I can be ruthless, I disdain resorting to such despicable tricks."

"Whether you take it or not is up to you."

"Co find

early tomorrow morning in Alchemy Chamber Number Two of the Elixir Fire Palace. Rember, use a portal."

After speaking, Qin Feiyang gave Dong Zhengyang the coordinates, then opened a portal and strode away.

Dong Zhengyang stared at the fading portal, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.

Once the portal had completely vanished, he glanced down at the Nine-Bend Yellow Dragon Pill in his hand, gritted his teeth, and decided to take the gamble!

Without hesitation, he tossed the pill into his mouth.

Then, he closed his eyes, looking rather comical as if awaiting death.

「anwhile.」

In a particular cultivation chamber.

WHOOSH!

Qin Feiyang appeared out of nowhere.

On a ditation cushion in the chamber sat an exceptionally beautiful woman—none other than Ren Wushuang.

Her skin like ice and bones of jade, along with her exquisite figure, always left Qin Feiyang stunned whenever he saw this nominal elder sister of his.

Ren Wushuang seed oblivious, not reacting to his arrival. Qin Feiyang tiptoed closer, intending to startle her.

But just as he neared, Ren Wushuang abruptly opened her eyes and rolled them at Qin Feiyang.

Qin Feiyang gave a sheepish smile. "Sis, where’s the Lion Headed Hawk?"

Ren Wushuang replied, "It and the Blood Eagle are still outside the city. What’s up?"

Qin Feiyang said, "I need its help. Have it return first."

"Help?" Ren Wushuang looked slightly puzzled. "What are you planning?"

Qin Feiyang smiled faintly. "You don’t need to worry about that. Just focus on your cultivation. Otherwise, the gap between us will only widen."

"You think you’re so great, don’t you?" Ren Wushuang glared.

She vividly rembered their first encounter in the ruins. Back then, Qin Feiyang was rely a Martial Ancestor. Now, however, he had not only caught up with her but had even surpassed her.

She was already quite displeased, and Qin Feiyang’s words only rubbed salt into her wounds.

"Not at all, not at all," Qin Feiyang quickly waved his hands, smiling. "Just wait until you take the Nine-Bend Yellow Dragon Pill. Your Cultivation Realm will advance by leaps and bounds. Who will be your match then?"

"Stop your prattling," Ren Wushuang glowered at him, then asked with concern, "I’ve heard from Grandfather about Rogue Wolf’s condition. How is it doing now?"

"Grandfather said its life isn’t in danger," Qin Feiyang replied. "Once I’m done with this, I’ll take it to get its Sea of Consciousness repaired."

The ntion of the Wolf King made Qin Feiyang’s heart grow heavy.

Ren Wushuang comforted him, "Don’t worry too much. If Grandfather said there’s a way, then there definitely is."

"I know."

"I’ll head back to the alchemy chamber now."

"When the eagle returns, give it the Nine-Bend Yellow Dragon Pill with two elixir patterns. Have it co to Alchemy Chamber Number Two to find

tomorrow morning. Ensure it uses a portal, as I don’t want anyone to know it’s back," Qin Feiyang instructed.

"Alright," Ren Wushuang nodded.

After giving her the coordinates, Qin Feiyang opened another portal and returned directly to Alchemy Chamber Number Two, where he began refining Battle Intent Elixirs.

Now, not only had Lu Hong recovered to the War King realm, but Lo Qianxue and Lin Yiyi had also joined them, aning their need for Battle Intent Elixirs would surge.

Therefore, whenever he had free ti, he tried to refine as many as possible.

「At the sa ti!」

Wang Hong ca forward and announced the truth about the Lu Family’s extermination to the world.

Only then did everyone realize they had misunderstood Qin Feiyang all along.

In a certain tavern.

A man and a woman sat facing each other in a corner.

"The Dong Family has been virtually wiped out."

"The Master tasked us with capturing Old Monster Dong and the others. It’s safe to say that mission has failed."

"What should we do next?" the woman asked.

"What else can we do?" the man said. "Our only option now is to find an opportunity to retrieve Lu Xingchen’s corpse. And we can’t delay any longer, or his body will decompose."

The woman frowned. "So, from whom should we get the coordinates to the Inner Sanctum?"

"Inquiring about the coordinates for the Inner Sanctum will surely attract unwanted attention and could be troubleso."

"It seems we have no choice but to request the help of the two Beast Emperors," the man sighed.

"Then we mustn’t delay. Let’s leave the city imdiately," the woman urged.

The man nodded, rose, settled the bill, and was about to leave the tavern.

But just then, a conversation caught their attention.

"I can’t believe the Dong Family was annihilated."

"Who on earth was that shadowy figure? How could even the Dong Family Head not catch him?"

"Who knows?"

"Speaking of which, the Dong Family truly was foolish."

"Indeed. Of all people to offend, they had to choose Qin Feiyang. Weren’t they just courting death?"

"It seems the Lu Family’s fate didn’t serve as a lasting lesson for them!"

"No, the Dong Family fared much better than the Lu Family."

"The Lu Family was truly annihilated, while the Dong Family still has that prodigy, Dong Zhengyang."

"I heard so Dong family mbers who were away also luckily escaped. It seems Dong Qing also survived."

"Speaking of Dong Qing, it’s truly a pity."

"Indeed. She was once a heaven-gifted prodigy with limitless prospects. Unfortunately, she insisted on provoking Qin Feiyang, and now look at her—a cripple."

In the center of the tavern hall, several young n and won sat around a table, engrossed in discussion.

"Dong Qing is alive?"

The man and woman exchanged a look, a sharp glint in their eyes. They imdiately left the tavern and hurried towards the Dong Family estate.

The tavern was just a street away from the Dong Family estate, so the pair arrived quickly.

But now, the Dong estate was nothing but ruins, pervaded by an air of tragic desolation.

At this mont, a group of people huddled before the Dong Family’s main gate, gazing at the ruins before them, an imnse, unyielding sorrow in their eyes.

These were the surviving family retainers and disciples of the Dong Family.

Dong Qing stood at the rear of the crowd, her face awash with tears, utterly heartbroken.

"Why..." she choked out, "What on earth did my Dong Family do to offend you, that you would be so ruthless..."

Her hands were clenched tightly, her face pale, her eyes filled with utter hatred.

"Miss, we’d like to talk with you."

Just then, a detached voice reached Dong Qing’s ears.

Dong Qing turned to see a man and a woman standing beside her, both strangers.

"I’ve never seen you in the Dong Family. You’re probably not our people. Who are you?" Dong Qing asked warily.

The woman leaned close to Dong Qing’s ear and whispered a few words.

Instantly, Dong Qing’s slender fra trembled. She eyed the two suspiciously and said in a low voice, "Follow ."

The three entered a deserted alley. Dong Qing turned to the woman and asked in disbelief, "How did you survive?"

"That’s a long story; I’ll tell you slowly later. Right now, you just need to answer : will you cooperate with us?" the woman said.

Dong Qing asked, "What benefit is there for

in cooperating with you?"

"I don’t know what benefits you’ll receive," the woman replied, "but you have no other choice right now."

"I don’t have many wishes."

"I only want you to help

kill Qin Feiyang, Rogue Wolf, and that mysterious War Ancestor."

"If you can do that, I will agree to go with you," Dong Qing said after a mont’s thought.

"We cannot make that decision; we must first ask our Master."

"However, I can tell you this: Qin Feiyang obtained the Elixir Formula for the Potential Elixir from our Master," the woman stated.

"Our Master possesses Divine Skills. As long as he agrees to help you seek revenge, even ten Qin Feiyangs could be dispatched with ease," the man added.

Dong Qing’s body trembled. Without further hesitation, she said, "Very well, I will go with you."

"Bring your clansn with you," the man instructed.

"Why should I bring them?" Dong Qing asked, puzzled.

"Don’t ask what you shouldn’t. It won’t do you any good," the man replied coolly.

"Alright!" Dong Qing nodded.

The three left the alley and returned to the Dong Family’s main gate.

With a wave of his hand, the man opened a portal.

Dong Qing looked at her clansn and declared loudly, "Everyone, co with ."

With that, she stepped into the portal first.

Although Dong Qing’s Qi Sea was shattered and her cultivation ruined, she was, after all, the cherished daughter of the Dong Family Head and a forr Inner Sanctum disciple. Thus, she held considerable prestige within the family.

And at this mont, she was undoubtedly their pillar of strength.

Upon hearing her words, despite their confusion, everyone followed her in.

Outside the city.

Atop a colossal mountain peak.

The Dong Family mbers appeared one after another on the summit.

Dong Qing scanned her surroundings, then turned to the man and woman and asked, "Where is this place?"

The man and woman exchanged a glance, then knelt respectfully and cried out, "We respectfully welco the Snake Emperor and the Sand Whale Emperor!"

"Hmm?"

The Dong Family mbers were bewildered.

BOOM!!

Two terrifying, ferocious auras erupted.

A white jade demonic snake and a sand whale soared up from the mountain pass below, landing above the summit.

The Snake Emperor glanced at the Dong Family mbers and asked, "Why so few people?"

"Your Excellency," the man replied, "a major event has occurred in State City."

He then briefly recounted the matter of the mysterious War Ancestor slaughtering the Dong Family.

"So that’s how it is," the two great beasts voiced, a look of realization on their faces.

Imdiately after, however, a bloodthirsty light glinted in their eyes. They gazed at the Dong Family mbers as if looking at a delicious al.
