The rmaid King asked in surprised confusion, "Little brother, what are you doing?"
Qin Feiyang chuckled. "Naturally, I’m taking precautions against villains making mischief."
"Villains making mischief?"
The rmaid King paused, montarily dazed, then suddenly understood. He swept his gaze over the Black Wing King and his faction, then declared in a low, stern voice, "If anyone dares disturb her while she receives the inheritance, this King will fight them to the death!"
With that said, he flickered and reappeared behind Princess rmaid, carefully shielding her.
The Black Wing King and Bai Wing King, however, turned their gazes to Qin Feiyang. Their sinister eyes looked as if they wanted to rip out his tendons, flay his skin, and drink his blood.
After Princess rmaid finished performing her kowtows, she remained prostrated on the ground, quietly waiting for the inheritance to descend.

Qin Feiyang glanced at him, then looked towards Princess rmaid; he could clearly see her body trembling.
Why is this happening? she murmured softly. My Bloodline Power is not inferior to that of any previous rmaid Emperor, so why can’t I receive the inheritance? Could this truly be Heaven’s will? She tried desperately to hold back her tears, but she simply couldn’t stop them from falling.
"Child, don’t be sad," the rmaid King sighed deeply, stepping forward to comfort her in a low voice. "Look at your Royal Father. I didn’t receive the inheritance, yet I still managed to cultivate to beco a Nine-Star War Emperor."
"But what about the rmaid Clan?" Princess rmaid asked. "Are we truly to fall into the hands of these villains?"
The rmaid King couldn’t help but clench his fists tightly, his eyes filled with desolation as he looked up at the statue of the First Generation rmaid King.

Princess rmaid also looked at him, puzzled.

Princess rmaid’s face flushed red.
