The Princess rmaid turned to glance at Qin Feiyang.

What on earth is he doing? she wondered, her anxiety spiking as she saw him still staring at the statue. The White Wing King himself has co; can't he show so reaction?

The White Wing King's eyes glinted with a sinister light. He shot a look at Qin Feiyang and said gravely, "Princess, please step aside imdiately."

At this mont, the Black Wing King also surged through the water, his voice cold. "If you don't hand him over, even if you are the princess, I will not let this matter rest!"

"They've both arrived!" The Princess rmaid's expression changed.

In her desperation, the words tumbled out, "I was the one who told Qin Feiyang to kill those two Black Wing guards!"

"What?"

"Princess, why would you do that?" the White Wing guards exclaid, looking at her in disbelief.

The Black Wing King shouted, "Nonsense! Everyone knows you cherish your people as if they were your own children, Princess! How could you do such a thing?"

The White Wing King chid in, "Exactly! Don't take the bla for him!"

"I am not taking the bla for him," the Princess rmaid stated. "Those two Black Wing guards were gossiping about

in the prison, and I happened to overhear them. In my anger, I asked Qin Feiyang to help

kill them. What about it? Are you now going to interfere even when I, the princess, deal with a couple of degenerates?" she finished, her voice icy.

"If the princess truly ordered it, then of course I wouldn't dare interfere," the Black Wing King said, his voice deep. "But I questioned the prisoners. It clearly had nothing to do with you, Princess. Why are you shielding him like this?"

"And you believe the words of prisoners?" The Princess rmaid sneered. "To think you are kings of the rmaid race, yet you're so utterly brainless."

The hands of the Black Wing King and White Wing King clenched tightly, their eyes darkening ominously.

Just then, Qin Feiyang suddenly took a step forward, entering the holy land of the rmaids. With another step, he stood before the statue of the First Emperor.

The Princess rmaid froze, then grew instantly furious. Is this fellow insane? I told him he couldn't enter the holy land! Why won't he listen? Isn't he in enough trouble already?

"Damn him!"

"He dares trespass into our clan's forbidden grounds!"

"Kill him imdiately!" the Black Wing King and White Wing King roared in unison.

More than thirty White Wing guards, radiating killing intent, charged toward Qin Feiyang.

"In this world, besides Uncle Yuan and my mother, there is a third person worthy of my, Qin Feiyang's, reverence—and that is you, Ancestor."

With a THUD, Qin Feiyang knelt on the ground.

"Huh?"

The advancing White Wing guards halted, looking at Qin Feiyang in confusion.

Qin Feiyang lowered his head and perford three kneelings and nine kowtows in solemn reverence. The First Emperor was not only a legend but also his aspiration. Since childhood, he had yearned to beco a supre overlord like the First Emperor. He even aid to surpass the First Emperor.

After the prostrations were complete, Qin Feiyang rose. He looked at the two kings, a cold smile playing on his lips.

"What are you all standing around for? Kill him, quickly!" the White Wing King bellowed.

The group of White Wing guards imdiately charged toward Qin Feiyang again.

BOOM!

But suddenly, the statue of the First Emperor trembled slightly, emitting a deafening rumble.

Qin Feiyang whirled around and looked up at the statue.

At this mont, the entire underwater city was shaken. rmaids from every corner turned their gaze towards the holy land.

"What's happening?"

"Why did the Emperor's statue move?"

The Black Wing King, White Wing King, Princess rmaid, the White Wing guards, and the dozen or so rmaids currently receiving their legacy all looked up, their gazes fixed on the Emperor's statue in bewildered surprise.

For nearly ten thousand years, the statue of the First Emperor had never shown any abnormality. Today was the first ti!

And Qin Feiyang, at this mont, felt an unprecedentedly strong sense of kinship. It was an affinity of blood ties!

BOOM!

WHOOSH!

Suddenly, the entire statue emanated streams of purple-gold Qi. In an instant, the entire holy land beca a vacuum, the seawater pushed aside and held at bay.

Imdiately after, another strange phenonon occurred!

Two dazzling beams of purple-gold divine light shot from the statue's eyes, heading straight for Qin Feiyang.

Qin Feiyang tried to dodge, but to his horror, he found his body completely immobile.

In an instant, Qin Feiyang was enveloped by the divine light. His entire body slowly began to levitate, rising until he was directly in front of the statue's eyes, where he stopped.

"This is... the First Emperor's legacy!" a trembling voice exclaid.

The rman Emperor was seen flying over from a distance. His once dull eyes now glead brightly, like two full moons!

"The Emperor's legacy?" The Princess rmaid and the others were stunned, looking at the rman Emperor in confusion.

"This is an age-old secret known only to the successive rman Emperors," the rman Emperor explained, his eyes fervent, his body trembling with excitent. "Back then, the First Emperor left his legacy within this statue. Only a specific kind of person in this world can receive it. And this human youth undoubtedly ets the criteria."

"Imperial Father, what kind of person is it?" the Princess rmaid asked.

The Black Wing King and White Wing King also looked at him, startled and curious.

"I cannot say. Speaking of it will anger the First Emperor, and divine punishnt will descend," the rman Emperor said, shaking his head.

"Hmph, stop your mystifying act!" the Black Wing King snorted. With a flap of his four wings, he launched himself at Qin Feiyang, exuding a terrifying murderous aura.

Seeing this, the White Wing King also charged toward Qin Feiyang.

"We can't let them interfere with Qin Feiyang receiving the legacy!" Princess rmaid's expression changed drastically.

"Child, don't worry. They won't succeed. In the Great Qin Empire, no one yet dares to offend the divine might of the First Emperor," the rman Emperor said with a smile.

Before his words had even faded, two screams rang out. "AH!!"

The Black Wing King and White Wing King, before they could even get close to Qin Feiyang, were struck by two beams of purple-gold divine light. They were instantly blasted downwards, crashing heavily onto the ground, the wings on their backs broken.

"How can this be?" The two struggled to their feet, looking at the statue in utter disbelief, blood gushing from their mouths.

When a mber of the rmaid race received a legacy, any interference would cause it to fail. But this outsider was actually being protected by divine light? It wasn't fair!

"There has never been true fairness in this world," the rman Emperor said, shaking his head with a smile, his eyes as sharp as a hawk's, perceiving their inner thoughts.

Qin Feiyang's consciousness was exceptionally clear. He could distinctly feel the purple-gold divine light pouring unceasingly into his body, simultaneously expanding his ridians.

BOOM!

In less than five breaths, all the ridians in his body opened. The purple-gold divine light, like a raging torrent, surged through his ridians towards a specific point—his lower abdon. This was also where the Qi Sea was located. The so-called Qi Sea was the reservoir for Battle Intent. In other words, with the help of the purple-gold divine light, his cultivation was advancing towards the War King realm.

"I never imagined I would actually receive the Ancestor's legacy on this trip," Qin Feiyang murmured, the excitent in his heart beyond asure. Wang Hong ordering him to go to the state office had, in fact, helped him trendously.

Suddenly, his face contorted in pain. Opening the Qi Sea was like carving out an internal space within a solid rock; the entire process was excruciating. Many people, unable to endure such agony when opening their Qi Sea, would pass out. Doing so was tantamount to courting disaster: either they would die, their bodies bursting from the True Qi, or they would fail, forever losing the chance to step into the War King realm.

But for Qin Feiyang, such pain was trivial. The pain of opening the Qi Sea was nothing compared to the agony of opening the Door of Potential.

BOOM!

Abruptly, a deep, muffled explosion reverberated within his body. The purple-gold divine light, in one fell swoop, shattered the bottleneck and surged into a dark area. This was the Qi Sea.

As the purple-gold divine light poured in, the Qi Sea brightened, revealing itself as a space rely the size of a fist.

Simultaneously, Qin Feiyang's aura skyrocketed wildly, finally stabilizing at the level of a one-star War King.

Moreover, a colossal beast shadow materialized behind him! When the shadow solidified, it beca a purple-gold divine dragon! It was a full hundred ters long, with five massive dragon claws beneath its abdon and a thick dragon horn atop its head. It looked remarkably lifelike, as if a true divine dragon had descended.

ROAR!

It coiled around Qin Feiyang, emitting a clear, resounding dragon roar that echoed in the depths of the sea, lingering long. Furthermore, an imnse dragon's power spread out in all directions!

At this mont, nearly all mbers of the rmaid race, except for the rman Emperor and a few others, knelt on the ground in worship.

"His Battle Soul... it's actually a Purple-Gold Dragon Soul, identical to the First Emperor's!" The rman Emperor's body trembled violently, his old eyes radiating an endless brilliance.

"Purple-Gold Dragon Soul..." Qin Feiyang looked up at his Battle Soul, the exhilaration on his face impossible to hide. His father, the current Emperor, had awakened a Golden Dragon Battle Soul. According to ancient records, a Golden Dragon Battle Soul was far inferior to a Purple-Gold Dragon Soul.

Father, you never expected this, did you? That I, the one banished from the Imperial Capital, could awaken a Battle Soul even stronger than yours! He clenched his fists, a fiery inferno of hatred blazing in his eyes.

BOOM!

However, at that very mont, a burst of flas suddenly erupted behind him. Instantly, the fiery light blazed so intensely it illuminated the entire underwater city!

What's going on? Qin Feiyang stared in bewildered confusion at the flas behind him.

The rman Emperor and the others were equally baffled.

"Imperial Father, look quickly! There seems to be sothing inside those flas!" the Princess rmaid exclaid, pointing with a slender finger.

Everyone, including Qin Feiyang, followed her gaze.

Within the flas, there was actually a Fire Lotus! This Fire Lotus had nine petals, shaped almost identically to a snow lotus. The difference was that each petal was ford from coalesced fire.

"How is this possible?" the rman Emperor gasped, his eyes practically bulging from their sockets. "He actually has Double War Spirits!"

"Double War Spirits!"

The rmaid race imdiately erupted into an uproar. Although every being who stepped into the War King realm had a chance to awaken a Battle Soul, not everyone succeeded. There were failures. One could say there was only a fifty percent chance of success.

Typically, those who succeeded awakened only a single Battle Soul. Throughout history, Double War Spirits had indeed appeared, but such individuals were exceedingly rare, like phoenix feathers and qilin horns. As long as they didn't perish prematurely, they were destined to beco dominant overlords in the future.

The crucial point now was that one of the Double War Spirits Qin Feiyang had awakened was a Purple-Gold Dragon Soul! This was even more astounding. Across the entire Great Qin Empire, throughout countless eons, only the First Emperor had ever possessed a Purple-Gold Dragon Soul.

And looking at that Fire Lotus, it too seed extraordinary. It appeared this young man was destined for astonishing achievents in the future!
