Chapter 1122: 392 Chapter Pressure Given by the Transcender_2

“Transcenders can leave the Tangible Realm without concern for ti, yet when entering Heaven and Earth, do they not still sense the passage of years?”

“There are three fallacies here.”

The immortals each furrowed their brows, listening quietly.

Far out in the Chaos Sea, Taiqing and Taoist Hongjun also carefully observed Li Ping’an’s figure.

Li Ping’an spoke:

“The first fallacy lies in his claim that he does not interfere with the course of Heaven and Earth.”

“He took on Jie Yin and Zhunti as disciples, and tempted Senior Hongjun to abandon Hedao. Are these not interventions in the course of Heaven and Earth?”

“Moreover, the sanctification of the Six Great Masters was driven by his own machinations. Such interference is profoundly significant and cannot be ignored.”

“He surely harbors his own intentions.”

The immortals nodded in agreent; they had already suspected as much. But the origins of the other two fallacies were beyond their comprehension.

Li Ping’an continued:

“The second fallacy is his assertion regarding Pangu’s singularity and similar Vast Wilderness Heaven and Earth.”

“This principle is mysterious, and with my Dao Realm still shallow, I cannot fully understand it. However, the Heavenly Dao has revealed one thing to —that the Vast Wilderness Heaven and Earth is not the only model.”

“This Tangible Realm must contain other realms, such as stars spanning thousands of miles, teeming with innurable living beings, and so on.”

“The Transcender likely knows of these, yet deliberately omits them, emphasizing only the inevitable extinction of Vast Wilderness Heaven and Earth, and purposefully avoiding ntion of other possibilities.”

“He rely seeks to sap our resolve.”

The expressions of the immortals were varied.

The Great Mage asked: “The third?”

“The third fallacy lies in his stated intentions.”

Li Ping’an sighed softly:

“I suddenly thought: if his goal is to gather the Source of Heaven and Earth—that residual Spiritual Power following the extinction of Heaven and Earth—then why would he have co here during ancient tis to wait?”

“If there are multiple Vast Wilderness Heavens and Earths, their respective lifecycles should naturally differ.”

“Why not choose a Heaven and Earth that is approaching the end of its cycle to lie in wait instead?”

“‘Pangu’s singularity’ suggests the singularity of Heaven and Earth, but the only distinctions might arise from developnt variations during Heaven and Earth’s progression, leading to different evolutionary paths… I don’t quite grasp this yet, though I might try to comprehend it further down the line.”

“Transcenders can transcend their original Heaven and Earth, but that does not an they can arbitrarily enter other realms.”

“These three fallacies are sufficient proof that this guy is full of lies and entirely untrustworthy.”

“We must regard him as the greatest hidden danger within Heaven and Earth, rather than disregard his existence… The Six Great Masters won’t return for another thousand years, and who knows what might transpire during that ti? You and I must prepare ahead.”

Duobao frowned: “But this is a Transcender. Even if every word he utters is false, his identity as a Transcender is acknowledged by Ancestor Hongjun. If the disciples of the Three Teachings banded together, we probably still couldn’t defeat him. We’ll have to wait for our masters to return.”

“Actually, it’s alright.”

A faint bitterness colored the smile on Li Ping’an’s face:

“We still have the Heavenly Dao, though it hasn’t completely fulfilled itself yet.”

The immortals smiled lightly, each in their own way.

By now, they had returned to the skies above East Continent, where the senior disciples of the Three Teachings bid farewell to Li Ping’an, offering mutual bows of respect.

Without prompting, Guilingling remained at Li Ping’an’s side.

Houtu stood silently behind Li Ping’an, her gaze lost in the distant horizon.

Watching the three departing streaks of white clouds, Guilingling whispered: “Master-niece, are we really destined to fight to the death between Chanjie Dual Sects in the future?”

“Most likely.”

“Then… is there any way to reduce the casualties?”

“There is,” Li Ping’an replied, thinking of the elusive Divine Deification List. “But I don’t dare make bold claims. Let’s go back; Ran Deng and that Transcender ruined my mood today, robbing of many insights for no reason.”

Guilingling appeared rather glum.

Li Ping’an, however, seed outwardly composed, though hints of worry lingered deep within his eyes.

He wasn’t overly concerned about the eventual extinction of Heaven and Earth; grand narratives like that didn’t resonate much with him.

What troubled him was the Golden Cloud of Heavenly Dao dwelling within his Spirit Platform.

“Why do I keep feeling like Heavenly Dao might discard once I’ve served my purpose?”

Li Ping’an worriedly pondered to himself.

Chaos Sea, Zixiao Palace.

Taiqing watched as the figures of Li Ping’an, Guilingling, and Houtu departed from the image within the Cloud Mirror.

On Taiqing’s emaciated face, a contemplative expression flickered, a hint of lingering amusent dancing at the corners of his lips.

Taoist Hongjun sighed darkly, his face grim: “That guy really lacks patience. Speaking so much in the presence of re juniors.”

“Teacher.”

Taiqing fixed his gaze directly on Hongjun:

“The two endpoints of Heaven and Earth: one is life, the other is death. The living are eternal, the dead vanish.”

“This is the sole solution of the Great Dao.”

“Transcendence itself amounts to nothing but emptiness.”

Taoist Hongjun chuckled uneasily: “Then, fellow Daoist, do you believe this Heaven and Earth still has hope left?”

“Yes,” Taiqing replied, “though now I seek answers to only one question.”

“Ask, please.”

Taiqing queried: “If Heaven and Earth could seize eternal life, would teacher intervene, all for the promised chance at transcendence offered by others?”

Taoist Hongjun hesitated, seemingly on the verge of speech.

Taiqing gave a slight nod, his spectral image shuddering faintly before disappearing entirely.

The pillar of light containing Taiqing’s true form restored its quietude.

Taoist Hongjun glanced at the chessboard, then at Taiqing’s location, furrowing his brows and curling his lips in dissatisfaction.

“Why is it that in the end, I beco the villain? Is pursuing self-transcendence truly a mistake? Ridiculous.”

Li Ping’an, after pondering heavily, decided to discuss today’s events with his father.

Li Dazhi listened attentively to the full account, left utterly bewildered.

Ran Deng’s true master;

The Transcender who swayed Hongjun’s transcendence;

The coffin spirit lying in wait for Heaven and Earth’s extinction, intent on pilfering its treasures;

All this information coalesced into a ntal explosion for Li Dazhi, who stood up and paced about for nearly an hour in utter silence.

Finally, Li Ping’an couldn’t hold back: “Dad, stop pacing; you’re going to make dizzy.”

“Why is this Heaven and Earth so restless!”
