100: Chapter 45 Intended to Tour the Mountains and Rivers [Vote for updates and follow-ups]_2 100: Chapter 45 Intended to Tour the Mountains and Rivers [Vote for updates and follow-ups]_2 She humd softly, holding the thin quilt and asuring it against Li Ping’an’s body, back and forth.

At the seat of Li Ping’an’s consciousness, his Primordial Soul little person slowly climbed up.

Just as he was trying to discern his surroundings, he suddenly saw…

his own master beside him, spreading a quilt with open arms.

Hmm?

What is Master doing?

Just as Li Ping’an was about to speak, his Primordial Soul felt a dizzying sensation, and his weak Spiritual Sense scattered outside his body, just in ti to see his master slightly bending over and covering the recliner directly with the thin quilt.

Li Ping’an was montarily stunned.

Master…

was afraid he would catch cold…

A twinge of sourness touched Li Ping’an’s nose, and he let out a long sigh from the bottom of his heart.

Although his own master was of high cultivation and profound in the ways of the Dao, and was straightforward and not skilled in speech, when it ca to himself, his disciple, there was absolute nothing to criticize.

He was a Qi Cultivator of the sixth or seventh layer of the Void Refinent Realm, how could he possibly catch a cold?

‘If I can achieve success in my cultivation in the future, I must honor my master, yes, and also provide for my master in his old age.’

As Li Ping’an was caught up in his feelings, he then felt a cool little hand, through the quilt, poking and prodding next to his arm.

Ticklish, but he dared not move.

Li Ping’an feared that if he suddenly spoke out, it would cause his master to lose face, so he stubbornly pretended to be faint.

That little hand soon began to move, from Li Ping’an’s arm to the back of his hand, from the outside of his thigh to the soles of his feet, with gentle and swift movents, tucking the edge of the quilt under Li Ping’an.

Shortly after, Qing Su looked at her disciple wrapped up on the recliner like a cocoon with only his head exposed, nodded in satisfaction, picked up her “Goodness of the Dao” and returned to the inner hall to continue careful study.

On the recliner.

Three black lines appeared on Li Ping’an’s forehead and the corners of his mouth twitched a few tis.

After thinking it over, he decided to just go back to sleep.

He couldn’t let his master’s busy efforts be in vain.

Li Ping’an dozed off lightly and gradually fell deeply asleep.

A whiff of fragrance that seed both faint and distinct entered his nostrils, as if a couple of peach blossoms had landed on his face.

This scent was all too familiar, so much so that Li Ping’an couldn’t guard in ti as the figure approached him.

“Senior brother, have you been sealed?”

Drowsily opening his eyes, Li Ping’an caught sight of a fair and charming face, with cheeks tinged with a light blush, eyes watery with ripples, lips with a hint of a smile, and eyebrows relaxed.

One glance at her would make anyone’s mood brighter.

It was, of course, Ningning Mu who had arrived.

She alone had the Jade Talisman to enter and exit this cave dwelling.

“Mmm, I fell asleep while tinkering with sothing.”

Li Ping’an vaguely replied, struggled out of the binding of the quilt, stretched a lazy stretch, and then collapsed back.

He looked at Ningning Mu beside him;

Today she wore a blue disciple’s dress, her long hair was combed into double coil buns, a jade belt wrapped her tiny waist, a pair of small feet encased in cloth boots, and she held a sheathed short sword in her hand, with two Storage Treasures now on her pale wrists compared to usual days.

She looked every bit ready to set out on a long journey.

Li Ping’an puzzled and asked, “Junior sister, are you going out?”

“Yes,” Ningning Mu blinked, “Didn’t the overseer in Mundane Affairs Hall say you were going too?

The disciple experiences of the six sects are departing in half an hour!”

By now, Li Ping’an had already checked with his Spiritual Sense and realized he had actually slept eight or nine hours.

Although he had wasted most of the day’s cultivation ti, his Primordial Soul was invigorated and his Dao Body was thoroughly comfortable.

He hadn’t truly rested like this in a long while.

Li Ping’an got up, folded his master’s quilt properly, and then suddenly realized.

“You’re also going?” Li Ping’an looked up and asked, “Wasn’t it said that each peak would send one disciple, and that Caiyun Peak was sending a rge True realm senior sister?”

“I don’t know,” Ningning said, averting her gaze slightly, lips pursed, her brow’s hair being stirred by the passing Spiritual Energy, her voice lowering a bit:

“Anyway, Mundane Affairs Hall gave the Jade Talisman and asked to go on the journey.

Maybe, being half step into Void Refinent counts as Void Refinent…

You’ll probably have to ask Uncle about that…”

“It’s indeed likely my father’s arrangent,” Li Ping’an mused quietly:

“Junior sister, this kind of disciple experience is really just the sects bringing out their disciples for comparison, it’s not very useful.

“And this ti, the host is Sea Watch Sect, which before attempted to compete with us for the Magic Artifact trade and lost a lot of Spirit Stones, I reckon they want to use this opportunity to regain so face.

“Going there, we’re likely just to warm the bench and be looked down upon, it would be better to cultivate comfortably in the mountains.”

Ningning Mu blinked, “But a directive has already co from Mundane Affairs Hall.”

“Pretend to be injured,” Li Ping’an said with a smile, “We got hurt due to a cultivation mishap, what can they do to us then?

Father is Li Dazhi, the master of Castcloud Hall.”

She chuckled, shifting to the recliner next to Li Ping’an.

“Then I’ll follow Senior Brother’s lead, we made a mistake while cultivating!”

Suddenly, from the inner hall, Qing Su’s voice was heard: “There’s an order from within the sect, why aren’t you going?

Ping’an, Ningning?”

Li Ping’an and Ningning Mu hastily stood up, bowing towards the inner cave in salute.

“Disciples are here.”

“Master Uncle, your command?”

Qing Su said, “As you have been chosen by the sect for this experience, you must bring honor to the sect and not neglect your duties.”

Li Ping’an and Ningning Mu looked at one another.

The forr accepted his fate with composure, while the latter, with a smile full of tacit agreent, bowed their heads to take the order.

Li Ping’an looked upward with a sigh, “I’m going to gather a few protective treasures.”

“Senior Brother,” Ningning Mu said with a laugh, “Let’s not be too late leaving!”

“It’ll be just a mont.”

Li Ping’an rallied his spirits, his figure turning into a wisp of smoke, drifting through the cave dwelling.

He visited several secret chambers, changed into a blue disciple’s robe, and tidied himself up simply.

After bidding his master farewell, he rode a flat boat, taking Ningning Mu with him, rushing to Mundane Affairs Hall.
