"Sir, how should I address you?"
The lovely Miss, dressed in a green and white uniform, solemnly asked Liens for his na.
"Heier."
Liens spoke his alias.
Of course, perhaps this na wasn't entirely an alias, as it was the na he registered on his Adventurer's Certificate.
In a sense, the Adventurer's Certificate was equivalent to his ID card, and one recognized by various countries.
"Mr. Heier, it's a pleasure to et you... My na is Lottie, and I am one of the persons in charge of the Korlot Adventurers' Association."
"Because things over there are quite urgent, I won't waste your ti with pleasantries... The Adventurers' Association has a request and would like your help. I wonder if you are available?"
Lottie first briefly introduced herself, then seriously asked Liens.
"A commission? You can tell about it. As long as it's within my capabilities, I don't mind earning so travel expenses for myself."
Liens responded indifferently.
"This commission won't be difficult for a strong existence like you... Please co this way. Our next conversation is not suitable for a public setting."
Lottie gestured for Liens to follow, then led the way, taking Liens out of the main hall and towards the back.
After the two left, due to Lottie's reputation, the Adventurers in the hall began to discuss them.
"Miss Lottie is actually so close to an unknown nobody; my heart is breaking."
A burly man exaggeratedly perford.
He pressed his hands to his muscular chest, making an exaggerated expression of heartbreak and unbearable pain.
"Alright, alright, nobody wants to watch your performance in broad daylight."
"Besides, how is Miss Lottie being close? She's clearly being polite, even respectful... That kid is probably not simple."
The man beside him stopped his companion's exaggerated performance with a speechless expression, then said with a serious look.
"Indeed, for Miss Lottie, as the face of the Korlot Adventurers' Association, to so solemnly invite that person to a private room to discuss matters, it's probably not a small matter."
Hearing his companion's words, the burly man also put away his desire to perform and responded seriously.
"Naturally, it's not a small matter... Among the recent commissions that require a strong existence to act, it's probably only that one thing."
A voice interjected into their conversation.
"It's you!"
After seeing who had interjected, the burly man showed a surprised expression; he hadn't expected their conversation to attract the other party.
"I happened to be sitting next to you and found your conversation interesting, so I chid in. I hope you don't mind."
The newcor responded politely.
"No, it is our honor to receive the attention of the renowned 'Black Fla'."
In response, the burly man also solemnly replied to the figure completely shrouded in a black robe before him.
"Black Fla."
An Adventurer who suddenly appeared two months ago and quickly gained fa. His thods involved exquisite Fla magic, and because he always hid his figure in a black robe, he earned this title.
"What 'thing' are you referring to, honored sir?"
The burly man's companion curiously asked 'Black Fla'.
...
"So ti ago, the Association invited all Extraordinary Ones in the city capable of helping to discuss this matter together."
"But in the end, not many people were willing to take on this commission, causing the matter to be temporarily put aside."
"However, the situation is urgent; the longer it drags on, the worse the situation over there becos. Fortunately, at this critical juncture, we are honored to have Mr. Heier's arrival."
"With your existence, there is finally hope for them to escape danger."
In a quiet, simple single room, Lottie spoke to Liens with a serious and earnest expression.
The room was not large, and its interior decoration was very simple, appearing to be a basic reception room.
A few sofas, a table, and a tea set on the table, but at this mont, neither of the two sitting opposite each other had an interest in drinking tea.
"Just state what you need; there's no need for such flattering words."
Liens' expression was calm, and he did not feel any pride or satisfaction due to Lottie's complints.
He could sense Lottie's urgency, but even so, she hadn't completely abandoned her instinctive pleasantries.
The reference version of this chapter is on *.
Perhaps the environnt she was in made her instinctively accustod to this way of speaking, or perhaps she thought it would better facilitate the success of this conversation.
Everyone lifts a sedan chair.
A single 'lift' can provide assistance in many matters.
"Hah!"
Lottie let out a heavy breath, then looked earnestly at Liens and said: "Thank you... In that case, forgive for being direct."
"The Association wishes to ask you to rescue the Adventurers' Association mbers trapped in Kara City, a border city of the Hartwin Kingdom."
"Kara City?"
Liens was sowhat surprised; he hadn't expected to hear the na of his hotown here.
Perhaps thinking Liens' surprise was an expression of doubt, Lottie continued to explain:
"Since the outbreak of civil strife in the Hartwin Kingdom, various large and small wars or conflicts have hardly ceased."
"According to what our Association understands, the Royalists and the rebels have engaged in very fierce warfare, causing many cities to fall into riots."
"Even the Adventurers' Association branch there cannot completely escape from this kind of unrest."
"The Kara City Adventurers' Association, which the Association wishes you to rescue, is currently in the most critical situation, and possibly the most complex one."
"The situation there absolutely requires the involvent of a strong existence of sufficient caliber to ensure the smooth progress of the rescue operation."
"This caliber refers to an Extraordinary One of the second tier, like yourself."
Having said that, Lottie looked at Liens respectfully and expectantly, waiting for his response.
"If you're looking for a strong existence of that tier, then you've probably co to the wrong person. I haven't reached the realm of a Great Knight yet."
Liens shook his head, pointing out Lottie's misunderstanding of him.
He knew Lottie must have seen the Elent reaction on him and thought he had already broken through to the second tier.
This couldn't be blad on her misidentification; after all, purely from the Elent reaction on his body, there wasn't much difference between him and a Great Knight.
The pure, unadulterated elental blue light proved that he had completed the purification of the Elents in his body.
And the phenonon of the Wind Elent "joyfully" moving around him indicated that the "activity" of the Elents within his body had reached a certain level.
The so-called activity doesn't an that the Elents have developed Life characteristics, but rather that a Great Knight's ntal will has broken through the body's confinent and influenced the Elents around the body.
The thod displayed is Elent Blessing.
"Purification" and "activity" are the two most basic characteristics for identifying a Great Knight, and Liens had achieved both, but he was still so distance from being a Great Knight.
This distance wasn't one of quality, but of quantity.
It's like a country; without sufficient population support, it's difficult to be considered a great nation.
