Night fell, and silence descended.

The bright moon had risen into the sky at so unknown ti, casting its soft light upon the earth, adorning it in silver.

Liens entered the instance, selecting the ti point of this afternoon's sword training.

The scene shifted.

The world before him changed, and a familiar scene once again entered his view.

His feet were on yellow earth, his back to the scorching sun, and the big man in front of him already held a wooden sword pointed at Liens.

This round was the one Liens had intentionally lost during the afternoon sword duel.

Although it was intentional, this big man's strength was also quite good; at least Liens couldn't defeat him within a few rounds.

Therefore, as a sparring partner, this big man was still very valuable.

Without further ado, as the guard beside them raised and lowered his hand, signaling the start of the duel, Liens imdiately launched an attack.

Lunging straight thrust.

He held the wooden sword, propelled himself with his legs, and thrust straight towards the big man's chest.

But it didn't hit…

The big man dodged sideways and simultaneously blocked Liens's straight thrust with his sword, deflecting it at an angle.

Liens wasn't surprised by this outco.

If he couldn't even dodge such a simple straight thrust, Liens wouldn't have chosen him as his first sparring partner for the night.

For example, his first opponent in the afternoon sword duel, if he hadn't hidden his strength, that guy might not have even been able to handle this straight thrust.

With opponents like that, he really found it hard to get interested in fighting again.

As Liens continuously practiced his sword in the instance, his explosive power and the accuracy of his sword strikes also grew stronger.

Though simple, the straight thrust was very fast, and ordinary opponents really couldn't handle it.

He had already verified this in his victorious duels this afternoon.

For Liens, the 'experience points' he could gain from those opponents were too few.

Even if he continued to spar with them, what he would gain was only the experience of 'how to quickly instantly kill a weak opponent'.

After seeing that the straight thrust had no effect, Liens began to attack again.

The big man also launched his counterattack, for prolonged defense inevitably leads to loss, and he wouldn't allow soone to keep attacking him. My Virtual Library Empire (*) thanks you for reading at the source.

As the two continuously attacked and blocked each other, the big man's expression grew increasingly serious.

He had initially underestimated Liens, thinking that due to his small and slender build, his strength would surely be average, or even very weak.

With such an opponent, theoretically, he could quickly win by overpowering him.

This thod had proven effective in his previous duels, but here it suffered a Waterloo.

Because Liens either avoided clashing swords with him or offset the strength disparity through techniques of deflecting force.

This made it difficult for him to gain an advantage in sword fighting, even with his significant strength advantage.

Finally, as the instructor announced the end of the round, neither Liens nor the big man had defeated the other.

Liens had overestimated himself. In reality, if it had been a real sword, he might indeed have won.

During the duel, he had repeatedly stabbed or slashed the big man's body with his wooden sword.

But perhaps due to insufficient strength, or perhaps the hit parts were not critical, the big man endured the pain and continued to duel with him.

Of course, Liens had also been struck by the big man's sword.

However, since it was for training, he certainly wouldn't stop fighting just because he was hit and suffered a minor injury.

He had even experienced death several tis, so why would he care about a little pain?

Actually, even when the duel ti ended, Liens didn't want their fight to stop.

Unfortunately, although he wanted to continue fighting, the big man had already put down his wooden sword, preparing to receive his punishnt nearby.

He could only prepare for the next round.

The scene shifted.

The world before him changed again, and the familiar big man was holding a wooden sword pointed at Liens.

"We et again," Liens greeted the big man in front of him with so delight.

The big man was a bit confused by this, but Liens quickly launched his attack, as the duel had begun.

With the experience from the previous round, Liens defeated the big man this ti, his wooden sword thrusting directly into his abdon, causing him to kneel and bend over, spitting out stomach acid.

After defeating the big man this ti, Liens once again started the next instance.

The opponent was still the big man, but Liens's goal for this round wasn't simply to defeat him, but how to defeat him quickly.

Soon, Liens also achieved this goal. He found that the more tis he dueled with the big man, the easier his victories beca.

This wasn't to say that his speed of improvent increased, although after multiple rounds of dueling, his strength had indeed improved sowhat.

Both his combat experience and sword techniques, such as force-deflecting techniques, had made great progress, but these were not the main reasons he could easily win.

The main reason was that he was already familiar enough with the big man's sword techniques, responding to his sword was like rote morization.

Liens felt that such duels could no longer bring him progress, so he chose his next opponent.

By continuously re-selecting instances, Liens fought round after round of duels.

He basically fought all the opponents he had encountered this afternoon, so of them multiple tis.

The opponents he only fought once were those who had lost this afternoon.

As for opponents like the big man, whom he rotated through multiple tis, these were the sparring partners he believed were helpful to him.

After defeating every opponent he encountered this afternoon, Liens started to feel a bit bored.

Although continuing to find sparring partners could still bring so progress.

But without that desire to win, he suddenly lost so of his enthusiasm for dueling.

After thinking for a mont, the always-bold Liens set his sights on the instructor. He set the instance's ti point to before the instructor began grouping everyone.

Then, he directly said to the instructor who was pointing and dividing the groups in front of everyone: "Instructor, I want to fight you."

His words were shocking to the point of not stopping until soone died. It must be said that Liens once again surprised everyone present.

However, the instructor calmly glanced at Liens, ignoring his words, and continued to group the others.

A guard nearby stepped forward directly, intending to discipline Liens, who had offended the instructor.

Liens was pulled aside by the guard, who prepared to give his body a "full-body massage" with a whip.

And Liens, seeing that the instructor couldn't be bothered with him, probably understood the instructor's thoughts.

Just as he couldn't be bothered to fight those who could be instantly killed by a single sword strike from him.

In the instructor's eyes, he, Liens, was no different from those guys; both were targets for an instant kill.

However, since he had co here, Liens naturally thought of a way to force the instructor to act.

So, Liens, taking advantage of the guard's inattention, directly struck the guard's neck hard with his wooden sword.

Then, as the guard collapsed due to sudden suffocation, he quickly drew the longsword hanging at his waist and used the real longsword to pierce his neck and throat.

This should infuriate the instructor, right…

Liens knew the instructor was very fast, so after getting the longsword and killing the guard, he imdiately took a defensive stance towards the instructor.

Soone was dead, and it was a Training Camp guard.

At this mont, not only the Trainees, but even the other guards and the instructor were shocked.

However, after reacting, the other Trainees imdiately moved away from Liens, while the other guards surrounded Liens.

Liens didn't care about the actions of the others; his attention was focused solely on the instructor.

'Here he cos.'

Liens saw the instructor charging towards him, his face now showing a hint of anger.

"Clang"

A quick slash swept across, and Liens blocked the instructor's attack with his longsword.

However, very quickly, the imnse force vibrated the longsword out of his hand.

A real iron sword was much heavier than a wooden sword, and coupled with the instructor's enormous strength.

Even though he tried very hard to hold onto the longsword, to the point where the skin between his thumbs and forefingers tore, Liens couldn't stop the longsword from leaving his hands.

And in the next mont, his neck was severed by the instructor.

Back in the white space, Liens touched his neck. That was where his head had been severed.

As his palm brushed over it, he felt as if he could still experience the sensation of being decapitated.

That feeling,

It was so exciting!!
